This is truly a beautiful vacation home. The bed were extremely comfortable and so were the pillows. The kitchen was well equipped. The air conditioning was wonderful, never ever too hot. The only problem is the upkeep. The pickleball area smelled heavy of mildew. We were able to air it out over a couple days. There was a picture of a high air, only to find out there isn’t one. I had to have one delivered to me from Walmart, after my request for the host to send me one was denied. There was a wood beam on the porch we had to avoid because the kids could have easily fallen on it and injured themselves. The worst part, though, was the pool. It was a light green on arrival, that only worsened. As the days went on, the pool was worse and worse with no working pump. I had to jump through hoops to get some kind of refund. The hot tub was also dirty. I’m saddened that this isn’t going to be a spot to return to. Lots if other small things that need fixed but not worth mentioning. You truly have a beautiful property that could be amazing with the proper upkeep.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry the pool issue affected your stay and understand how disappointing that was, especially when the pool was an important part of your vacation. Once the issue was reported, our team inspected the pool and worked to identify and repair the mechanical problem. The pool pump was replaced, the water was treated, and our pool team continued working to restore the water quality. We also provided significant compensation in recognition of the inconvenience. We regret that this issue impacted your overall experience and appreciate the feedback you shared.

This is a fantastic property for large family get togethers with school- aged children. We have 8 kids between 6 and 15 - all the kids had something to do all the time! Between the pool and pond and large yard along with indoor games for rainy times, it was perfect. Lots of towels, blankets, and housewares came in handy!

Everything was wonderful and the house was very clean. The only things to add are positive ones. The kitchen was equipped with lots of extra items like several crockpots, two microwaves, a coffee maker with a keurig, and many baking and cooking items. The pool is in fact heated- which wasn’t included in the listing. I had to inquire about the slide water feature and how to turn it on and was given the instructions in a timely manner. The hot tub was huge and easily could accommodate 7-8 people comfortably. The room inside the game barn had several umbrellas for the poolside tables and a couple fishing poles. The wrap around porch was amazing and had lots of seating options to move to wherever you wanted. The entertainment factor and gathering ability of this house was amazing. Plenty of room and things to explore and do for all ages. I would definitely recommend this to other families.

loved it, had some problems but response time was immediate on answers

was disappointed that nothing was offered for all the problems we had pool not cleaned upon arrival, 2nd day no water, came and fixed twice then it stopped completely and they left us with no water until the next morning. we had kids and grandkids there. 4th day stray dog with fleas and limping came and wouldn't leave. we had to eat cook, eat and stay indoors. the place is beautiful but with all the issues they could have offered something back or even a gift card of some sort.

An absolute blast with a large group of people

Place had SO MUCH for the group to do - we used every single amenity from the Pickleball Court, to pop-a-shot, to pool slide, topool volleyball, to pool basketball, to fishing pond, to pool table, to all the TVs...everything was used by our group! In the morning we cooked a large breakfast in the roomy & spacious kitchen and had plenty of cookware and the k-cup coffee maker was a huge plus. Loved our stay here!

We had a great stay and loved the pickleball court.

We enjoyed our stay at Walnut Ridge. The pickleball court was a huge perk, we had a blast playing. The bedroom layout with the shared bathroom was a bit awkward but not a deal breaker. Everything was very clean and plenty of towels were provided.
