It is a very well maintained home fully stocked with anything you need. You can easily walk to downtown Plymouth in minutes. It is a very quiet neighborhood and if you encounter anyone they are always friendly. The home has a garage which most VRBO’S don’t have It was very easy to connect with the owner. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend time in Plymouth.

Host was great! This is 20 min from DTW airport and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. So many cute shops and restaurants are a 5-10 min walk away

Not what we expected

The unit was well appointed and well stacked with everything one would need. However cleanliness was another issue. I took pictures of everything. The underneath of the toilet seat in the main bathroom was stained and disgusting. The filters above the exhaust fan in the kitchen were completely packed with grease. I ran them twice on heavy duty in the dishwasher, then had to soak them with a degreaser. All the input vents were packed with dust. We were told that the house had cable tv. It had streaming. The host said it could be switched over to cable but there were no instructions and she didn’t tell us how to do it. The bedroom tv’s didn’t work. The one in the master bedroom came on but had no signal. She said there was an antenna. Really? She said she would drop ship an Amazon fire stick but couldn’t tell us how to use it. This was a total waste of $7000. The host lives in another state and has no idea of the condition of her property. Shame on her.

Perfect spot in a great town

What a wonderful home within a short walk to restaurants, groceries and shops. Tricia was a joy to work with and very accommodating while we were in transition from our own house. Plymouth is a great town and we took advantage of the Friday night concerts in the park, Farmers market on Saturday, art fair and wonderful friendly neighbors. Would not hesitate to stay again!

Great downtown location

We rented here for a month in July as a home base to visit with family while working remotely. The location could not be beat, especially with all the downtown Plymouth activities in the summer. The house is well appointed and comfortable. We hope to stay here again.

Nice stay

Had a nice stay in Plymouth. Location of house is great. If it was nice out, which it wasn’t unfortunately, you could walk to lots of places and sit on the front porch. Walk into town is quick and easy. Would stay here again.

Winter Stay

Stayed for a week near the end of January. Just two of us. Located on a residential corner lot. Quiet and just across from a park. No indoor dining allowed by state (covid) so nice to have a dining area we could use for takeout. House is cozy and nicely appointed. The garage was a lifesaver as it was cold and snowy. Maybe a bit cluttered, but we were happy with our choice.

Location location location!

We stayed at the Harding house for three months through the fall. The location to downtown Plymouth and across from the park was incredible. Tricia was very responsive and helpful as we walked through questions and arrangements for our long term stay. The house is well stocked and comfortable. My husband was able to find space in a guest room to work from home and the garage was helpful to protect our car from the occasional snow/ice. Through the fall, when we weren’t enjoying the short walks into town to see the different park decorations and support local businesses, we were thoroughly enjoying the front porch and waving to the friendly neighbors passing by. My husband spent quite a bit of time on the porch swing reading. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It made our time away from home much more comfortable!

Cozy nest in a great location

Pro’s - This is a very cute house with a nice kitchen and master bath. The 2 best parts are the front porch and location, proximity to park and downtown. Owner responded quickly to booking request and accommodated a quick turn between the renters before us which was very much appreciated. Cons - the house is in dire need of a deep clean and when I offered to speak with the owner to give feedback, it was declined and blamed on the quick turnaround and not giving the cleaner enough time between the changeover. In my opinion that does not explain most of the issues. The cobwebs are plentiful on the walls, corners of the door jams, lighting fixtures and drapes. The windows and screen door, both inside and out, have not been cleaned in a very long time. The lighting fixtures had layers upon layers of dust on them in the dining and kitchen areas. The glass tile backsplash in the kitchen has splatter marks all over it and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Many of the “clean” glasses in the cabinet had food remnants on them. The bedding hasn’t been washed in some time and most wash cloths and hand towels need to be replaced. We chose to borrow towels and clean bedding from family in the area. Our feet were black by the end of the day from the dirty floors which had smudge marks in the kitchen and dining area, clearly they weren’t cleaned, instead swept, at best. The main bathroom’s tub had not been cleaned between visitors as there was grime and hair in it. There also was hair stuck to the walls and ceiling of the master bathroom. In times of COVID especially, these issues create an even larger concern with the overall lack of cleanliness.

Dear Jennifer, I have never had such negative or scathing comments. Had you told me about any of this upon your arrival, I would have had it promptly addressed. All linens, towels, bedspreads are cleaned after every visitor as well as the floors, bathrooms, etc. Regards, Tricia

Great location

This property is in a perfect location. 2.5 blocks away from downtown Plymouth and a nice rec area across the street. We loved sitting on the porch and the community was very nice and welcoming.

Great for families

This home is perfect for families with young children. There’s a park across the street and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable.

Wonderful, quaint house

3 nicely sized bedrooms, a great kitchen for in-home meal preps, and a comfortable living room to pass time. The location relative to downtown is optimal. Having 2 bathrooms was really nice and made the stay much more comfortable.

Awesome Vacation Home - close to Plymouth Downtown - everything you need!

Tricia takes care of the house very well and it felt like home to us. There are plenty of toys (which my son loved), a huge TV in the Living Room and Master Bedroom, the kitchen is fully stocked, it is such a pleasure to stay here instead of a small hotel room next to a loud highway. There is a huge Park on the other side of the street with a play area for the little ones and so much more. Our son loved the slides and the sand of the beach volleyball court. The house is just a couple blocks away from Plymouth Downtown with Starbucks, Panera Bread, several awesome Restaurants, a movie theatre and the famous Kellogg Park. It is so much fun to stroll through Plymouth, have a cup of coffee and enjoy the sun. Tricia took care of us very well. She kept sending emails if everything is OK and informed us about the changes of the waste collection. We had a great time and would definitely stay again at the Harding House! To the German fellows: An alle deutschen Landsmänner ( und -frauen :) ) Das Haus ist perfekt für Familien, welche mehr Platz und Komfort benötigen. Wir wollten nicht in einem Hotel am Highway mit einem kleinen Kind übernachten und das Harding House bietet alles was eine Familie benötigt. Viel Platz, 2 Bäder, 3 Schlafzimmer (1 Master, 2 Zimmer mit Stockbetten), Waschmaschine usw. Wir mussten auf niemanden Rücksicht nehmen (mit Jetleg ist man schon mal früh wach), unser Kleiner hat im Garten oder im Park nebenan getobt und wir konnten uns selber verpflegen. Und das alles für den gleichen Preis wie ein 15m2 Hotelzimmer- wir sind begeistert und können das Haus aus vollen Herzen weiterempfehlen. Die Besitzerin ist super hilfsbereit und versucht alles den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Highly Recommend

We felt right at home in this charming house. Beautifully updated. Fully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed being able to walk to town...concerts, farmer's market, great restaurants and shops. Outside patio offered a great view of the fun at the park across the street. Look forward to staying here again!

Two adults and 3 young children. Plenty of room. Well equipped kitchen. Two parks for all ages within walking distance. Very centrally located for sightseeing the metro area. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Wonderful Stay!

4 adults for nephew's graduation and a weeks stay in Michigan. We arrived just in time for the Friday night concert in the square and walked to the farmer's market in town Saturday morning. Location was perfect for day trips and the town has great restaurants and gift stores. House is cute, cute and has all the amenities for a relaxing visit. We especially loved late afternoons on the patio, watching the activities in the park across the street. Tricia was very responsive with helping me get on the wifi and giving me tips for places to go nearby. Definitely recommend for a couple with small children as the area is very kid friendly! We had a great stay- thank you.

Perfect home away

My family stayed at Harding House for 2 weeks last month. It was an ideal vacation home for families. My younger children had access to a park directly across the street while my older kids had the freedom to walk into town for icecream. The house is plenty spacious and well equipped with anything one could need. Location is everything; this property is 2 blocks from restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, etc.

Perfect stay!

I was in Plymouth on business for a couple of weeks and completely lucked out in finding this lovely home. It is incredibly homey and cozy, I would stay here again in a heartbeat if the chance arises. Thanks Tricia for being an accommodating and responsive host!
