I have never had to respond to a review before but this review is absolutely false and nonsense. This makes me sad as we really do take great pride in our home and have always enjoyed sharing it with our guests! 1) Regarding sheets - It clearly states in our rental description and in your agreement that we do not provide sheets. This is very common with shore rentals and I do offer to refer guests to local linen rental companies if needed. You did contact me asking why there were not sheets when you arrived and I referred you back to the information that I had previously provided and the detail in the listing. So, I’m not sure why you are claiming the sheets are not clean - there were in fact no sheets on the beds. 2) Then it turned into you contacting me about a random list of other small things in an aggressive manner - minor scratches on the hallway paint and claiming there was sand in one of the bedrooms. I offered to have our cleaners come back - you declined. It got so persistent that I offered you a full refund if you wanted to leave - you declined. 3) Finally, I have never had an experience like this with a renter as evidenced by over 75 other positive reviews from multiple years of rental history. You were obviously looking for some sort of additional discount or money back while staying to enjoy the week at the shore. I say additional because you had already asked me for a discount upon booking because your family was military. As a law-enforcement family and wife of an army veteran, I did give you a discount (without asking for any type of proof of service) - perhaps this should have been my first red flag and that was my mistake. I regret that there was nothing I could do to make you happy - I sure tried - but your review is a lie.
