The Space:

Solara Mesa is built, not remodeled — every detail here is new, from the architecture to the finishes. Three bedrooms, each with a king bed, give the house a calm, uncluttered feel, and the primary suite goes a step further with its own ensuite bathroom and smart TV, making it an easy retreat within the retreat. The living room centers on a smart TV, an electric fireplace, and a sofa bed for extra sleeping flexibility — ideal for a quiet night in after a day exploring the park.

Outside, the acre of privacy really sets this house apart: a pool, a sauna, a mini golf course, bocce ball, and a fire pit, all framed by open desert and mountain views with no neighbors in sight. Whether it's a soak in the sauna after a hike or a backyard bocce game as the sun sets, Solara Mesa is built for guests who want the desert to feel like it's entirely theirs.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW



CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT — Check-in is 4:00 PM, check-out is 11:00 AM. You'll receive your smart lock code via automated message 3 days before arrival for your records — the code activates at check-in time and remains active for the duration of your stay. Late check-out beyond 20 minutes is subject to a $200 fee; beyond one hour, a half-day rate applies.



EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT — Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour, subject to cleaning schedule — message us to check availability.



PARKING — Please park only in the driveway/designated parking area. No street parking is allowed to avoid ticketing or towing.



DELIVERIES — We are unable to accept packages at the home. Please plan accordingly and use a local post office hold or nearby package locker service.



PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE — Guests are welcome to take photos for personal use — feel free to tag us @visithideaway. Commercial, professional, or revenue-generating photography/videography requires prior written approval and is subject to production fees. Drones are not permitted. Any commercial shoot conducted without prior approval will result in reservation cancellation and applicable fees.



POOL & SPA — Spa heat is included in your reservation. Pool is heated year-round upon request. For best results, pool heat requests should be made 48 hours in advance. ($180/day May–Sept, $250/day Oct–April). Please shower before using the spa or pool. Anyone under 18 must be supervised while swimming or using the spa Guests are responsible for their own safety.



PETS — Pets are welcome with prior disclosure, $100/pet (max 2). Pets are not permitted in the pool, and for their own safety around desert wildlife and cactus, we ask that they stay leashed and supervised while outside. Please dispose of any pet waste.



MAX GUESTS / EXTRA GUESTS — This home is designed for 8 guests maximum. Please disclose any visitors or overnight guests in advance; a $50/person fee applies for undisclosed overnight guests.



NO PARTIES OR EVENTS — Solara Mesa is a private residence and does not permit parties or events.



SMOKING — Not permitted inside or within 15 feet of the property. A $300 cleaning fee applies if violated.



PLUMBING — All Joshua Tree homes run on septic systems; only toilet paper may be flushed. Misuse resulting in clogs incurs a $200 repair fee.



SECURITY — Exterior security cameras are present at the front and back entrances for safety purposes only.



WILDLIFE — We're in the high desert — occasional sightings of insects, mice, and the rare snake or spider are part of the territory. Let us know if you'd like help safely relocating

anything.
