Our host was spot on. Communication was excellent before we arrived, during check-in, and at check-out. We also needed to reach out during our stay, and every call or text was answered promptly. We could not have asked for better service.The house was clean and had all the amenities needed to feel like home. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were great, and the large kitchen and living room provided plenty of space for everyone. The yard was also well maintained.This place is the ultimate location for kids. The pool and slide were a huge hit, and our grandson (under 5 years old) was in the pool every day of our trip. The fenced yard gave us an added sense of security, and the pool was very well maintained.The second-floor deck is spacious and was a great place to read, relax in the sun, enjoy some shade, and watch the activity around the pool.We BBQ’d every day, and the outdoor area had everything we needed. The grill, prep area, and seating were all excellent and conveniently located right by the pool.The location is also ideal, with easy access to Jamaica Beach, East Beach, San Luis Pass, the Seawall, the Strand, and Moody Gardens.We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful weekend at Pearl Basin!! The house is immaculately clean with great detail to decor and furnishings. Comfortable beds and kitchen was well stocked! The outdoor space was perfect!! Tracie was attentive and available if we needed anything! We would love to visit again.

The property was beautiful, everybody enjoyed themselves. We enjoyed going to the beach and being able to come back to the property and swim in that beautiful pool. I would definitely stay there again. The host was very sweet!

Ten of us stayed in this beautiful house for 3 nights with our dogs. It has everything you need for a kitchen! The outside was awesome with a very nice fenced in backyard, pool/slide that the kids loved. The house is right on a canal so we even got to fish. The hostess responded very quickly to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The house and pool area were amazing. Loved how they decorated it and the yard and plants are so beautiful. The location is great. Communication with the owner was great. Our kid’s dogs loved the upstairs patio with baby (dog) gate. At night the lights on the patio and pool area are perfect. The slide to the pool was fun too. We will definitely try to go back next year. I highly recommend this place!

Enjoyed a family beach vacation with our 3 adult children and their spouses 3 young grandchildren. Very nice second home & beautiful backyard. Good location, close to canal & beach. House was fully stocked with cooking & grilling supplies, comfortable beds for all and good seating areas. Traci was very responsive to the few questions/ requests we had.

Practically Perfect in Every Way

Our family, grown children and their families, have been gathering once a year in early summer just to be together. This by far is the best place we’ve stayed by far!!! It’s practically perfect in every way! Traci was so quick to respond to our questions. She has decorated the space with such care and with so many cool pieces of art and furniture. All the beds were so comfy with great sheets making it heavenly for a good nights rest after a day at the beach and by the pool. The kitchen isn’t huge, but was big enough for our group of 7 and pretty well stocked. Our daughters family stayed in the room which was like a really big studio apt with beds, sofa sitting area with tv, a coffee bar, bathroom and 3 entrances from outside. (Must take outside stairs to get to the main part of the house) which was great for their privacy. The backyard is truly lush with green grass, succulents, great furniture, and the pool is huge with a true deep end. The slide was a hit with the granddaughter and half the adults for sure. The pool stays sunny pretty much most of the day so even when the outside temperature was in the 80’s the water was perfect. The outside shower was a great asset. After the beach being able to rinse thoroughly before getting in the pool kept the pool and the bathrooms clean. The location to the public beach was literally just a couple of minutes away. Pizza, alcohol and gas, too were just minutes away. Basically, our stay here was amazing!

Beautiful space felt right at home

We booked Pearl Basin somewhat last minute after our other rental was damaged from the storms and it was a blessing! We wanted a spacious home for our family beach trip we take to Galveston every year. This house was so beautiful from the decor details and to the amazing swimming pool. We really liked that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dogs as well. Traci went above and beyond to accommodate us. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

Our favorite!

We are repeat visitors to this beautiful home; every year we fall more and more in love with it! The home is gorgeous, stocked with essentials, cozy and inviting, and the outdoor area is amazing for the kids and adults to swim and hangout all day! Short drive to the beach too! We just left and are already ready for our next trip! Thank you for having us again this year!

Beautiful home, peaceful stay

Our stay was perfect! We had several disabled people with us and the temperature and layout was perfect. The pool is beautiful, slide was usable for everyone. Lots pf things to admire in the yard, bottles, shells, mermaids and a family of bunnies.

Memories

Our annual Galveston family trip, our second time staying at this amazing property. Traci is friendly and easy to work with as well as very easy to talk to. We spent hours in the pool with our grandkids and was perfect to going into town for dinner, the Pier and Moody Gardens. Thank you for sharing your home.

Excellent stay

We stayed at the property for several days over the Fourth of July holiday. The house is great and the backyard is fantastic. The owner is communicative and helpful, and the house was in great shape when we arrived. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, even on a holiday weekend. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

First time in at jamaica beach

This house was exactly as described by the listing as well as pictures. Quiet, cozy, and beautiful. There was 4 of us staying and this house had every amenity avaiable. The outdoor pool area was the star of the show as thats where we stayed anytime we were at the actual house. The owner was very easy to deal with and always available with answers. We truly had a great experience at pearl basin.

Great Escape

This home is a feast for the eyes every way you turn - inside and out. Every comfort has been carefully thought out. The gardens are full of every kind of succulent imaginable. The ground floor bedroom and outdoor walk-in shower made getting around easy for my 83 father. This is a great escape for adults.

Amazing Getaway

The house and pool were more than we expected. Probably the nicest backyard in Jamaica Beach with a tiki hut, bbq smoker, big/clean pool with a waterslide and gorgeous foliage. The house had everything we needed to cook and relax and enjoy the weekend. Very close to many access points on the beach, some were more crowded than others but a little south we were able to find a nice, semi-secluded area. Great little coffee shop and food near the corner store, which also was nicely stocked for basic needs. Great experience and highly recommend. Possibly bring your own meats/food down in a cooler as Kroger is about a 15 minute drive- not bad at all though. Highly recommend!

Extremely Clean and very relaxing!

Beautiful property and having a pool definitely worth it. The room downstairs for teenagers was perfect. The place was so clean and very cozy. The host was very communicative and friendly. She puts a lot of effort into making your stay enjoyable.
