Thank you for your feedback Jan, and for choosing our home for the past 5 years. We truly appreciate you and are sorry this stay didn't meet the standard you've come to expect. For the benefit of future guests, we'd like to provide a little context. The dishes and towels had been cleaned but not yet put away because the previous guest failed to run them. The cleaners ran them and forgot to put them away. Once contacted about the ceiling tiles and the basement toilet, we sent someone to the house promptly to address those concerns. We always try to respond quickly whenever a guest needs assistance. Regarding checkout instructions, we do ask guests to launder the towels they use. With a home that comfortably accommodates large groups and only a 5 hr turnover window, this process allows us to provide a later 11:00am checkout while still ensuring every set of linens is freshly cleaned for incoming guests. In the sunroom 3 of the 4 operable windows provide screened ventilation. The 4th has never had a screen because the deck railing there does not allow it. Regarding the upstairs dryer. Although it is relatively new, after your stay it and it's vents were cleaned to make sure it was operating properly and we will continue to monitor it. We continuously invest in the home and work hard to provide an exceptional experience for every guest. Laura, we’re glad that you love the place. We’re sorry to hear about the grill, we just had it checked today and we were told that three of the four burners work (which we thought all worked, no one has let us know one went out) and there was a full thing of propane, so we’re not sure what you meant by unusable. We did not get a message from you about it during your stay, so we were unable to help. I feel bad that it did not work somehow. Again, I’m really glad you guys enjoyed your stay, sorry for this small hiccup. We hope to see you guys again sometime soon. Thanks, Scott
