Casa Pipilacha er en luksuriøs marokkansk stil villa designet som et kunstverk av Abraham Valenzuela, en av de mest anerkjente arkitektene i Costa Rica. Det ligger på et fantastisk og rolig stykke land nær toppen av bakken med utsikt over Playa Tamarindo og fungerer som et rolig gjemmested, men likevel nær stranden, shopping, restauranter og underholdningsfasiliteter av Tamarindo. Alle områder av huset tilbyr fantastisk panoramautsikt over Playa Tamarindo og Playa Langosta og det endeløse havet.

Foran stuen og den store takterrassen sitter et stort "evighetsbasseng" med to mindre solterrasser - alt med en fantastisk 180 graders utsikt. Stup i bassenget, slapp av på terrassen og nyt bildet-perfekte solnedganger fra dette praktfulle utkikk!

Kjøkkenet er fullt utstyrt og tilbyr alle fasiliteter selv for den lidenskapelige kokken. En gassgrill er også tilgjengelig. Du kan velge mellom to spisesteder: ute på terrassen eller inne i stuen. Hele huset er skjermet inn og åpner ut mot terrassen.

Hovedsoverommet har en king size-seng. Det andre soverommet har en queen size-seng. Begge soverommene har panoramavinduer. Hele huset er fullt aircondition.

Thank you for choosing Casa Pipilacha for your stay in Tamarindo! This fantastic home is located on the Tamarindo hill and offers a beautiful view of the Tamarindo Bay. With 2 bedrooms in the main house and a separate apartment (optional to rent), the property offers great capacity and privacy. In a unique contemporary and classic style, Casa Pipilacha is like no other home. Beautiful interiors, fully equipped, infinity pool, outdoor grounds; it is perfect for small family groups and couples. Access is not complicated, but we suggest renting an SUV, as it adapts better to the location and will also give you easier access to the surrounding areas and, particularly, beaches.

This was an amazing house!! The view is beyond words and watching the sunsets from the covered patio was the best part of our day. I would highly recommend this house. In saying that, the walk down the hill to the beach was only 10 minutes but the walk back up the hill was a little more challenging. It’s definitely doable but maybe renting a golf cart or small car would be beneficial if you are wanting to go to town. Working with the host was also seamless. All I had to do was message them what excursions we wanted to do and they set them up. It was perfect!!

The outstanding views will make your stay unique and memorable. The property overlooks the Baula National Park and Tamarindo beach/estuary. The property has its own style, mixing rustic and contemporary style. Elegant indoor spaces and a beautiful terrace and infinity pool to enjoy at any hour of the day and night. The house is fully equipped for up to 6 guests. Side note: A 4x4 car or suv is highly recommended to access this property per its location.

Property was exactly as described. Very comfortable and clean. Concierge was super responsive and helpful. Gorgeous views, nicely appointed home. The road to get up to the property is dirt and extremely bumpy. That being said g said, all was excellent.

With unique architecture and inside decor, the house is comfortable and fully equipped for 4 guests or up to 6 guests. Please note that if you have a larger group, there is an additional apartment that can be added, increasing the capacity of the house. You will enjoy the outside terrace at any time, the infinity private pool, and the beautiful grounds and gardens. Gardener and maid service are included in the rental.

The instructions to villa were not correct and not presented in chronicle order for villa access: 1) Who uses a villa phone before you gain access to the villa. 2) No mention that the remote was for the entry gate but the villa instruction said it was for the alarm. 3) The view was not as shown in photos, completely overgrown in front of pool. 4) Animals ran across the roof of the villa for entire access, day and night, this was reported but never got any feedback as to what, if anything would be done to remedy the problem. 5) A alphabetic password was provided for the alarm panel for a numeric keypad? 6) The shower hand wand hose broke and I had to get the groundskeeper to remove good hose from second bathroom and install in master bath shower.7) There are no pads on chaises as shown in photo and no access from bedroom to chaises as the handle on the slider was either broken off or removed. 8) The pool is constantly covered in leaves and other debris and needs constant cleaning during the stay due to high winds. 9) Most of the hanging plants shown in photos at pool are not there. 10) I noticed "droppings" on the outside foyer of pool under a woven wicked disk on wall used by bats to nest and thousands of bat "droppings" fell to the floor. I showed the grounds keeper, but nothing was done to cleanup or resolve the problem. I cleaned up mess two feet from where I would sit at table. 11) The stereo receiver did not work. 12) Had a TV but needed to pay to watch service.

Amazing property, absolutely beautiful. However, false advertisement with location. It is technically walkable to the beach but you have to walk up the STEEPEST hill and in hot weather it’s impossible. Also at night you can’t walk into town, too dark and sketchy. Property itself was fabulous no issues.

Thank you for choosing Casa Pipilacha for your stay in Tamarindo. Very unique and stylish 2 BDR home located on the Tamarindo hill. Thanks to its location, the property has one of the most spectacular ocean views of Playa Grande, the National Park Las Baulas, and the Tamarindo estuary. The drive is no more than 5 minutes, and the walk is about 10 minutes down the road, as advertised. Renting a vehicle is something we always recommend to make access easier, especially when you go up and at night too. Casa Pipilacha is ideal for couples and small families. It has nice decorations inside, a beautiful infinity pool, and lots of privacy. A/c in every room, hot water, cable TV, internet, laundry amenities, a full kitchen, BBQ, maid service for over 5 night stays are also part of what the house rental includes.

This unique luxury house is located on the Tamarindo hill, overlooking the estuary, Playa Grande, and part of the Tamarindo beach. Surrounded by nothing more but nature, the property is an oasis on the hill and will make you fall in love with the view from the terrace and private infinity pool. Modern and rustic at the same time, there is no other home like this one. Ideal for two couples or small families, this 2 BDR house comes fully equipped and nicely decorated but if you come with a larger group, you can also rent the house with its separate apartment. Come and stay in this fantastic house and you will never want to leave!

Love this house

The house is beautiful, comfortably appointed and feels like home. The view is incredible, make a point to be at the house for sunset! This house has amazing air conditioning, almost too good. The road to the house doesn’t lend itself to cars with low ground clearance, but not impassable. Will definitely stay here again!

Thank you fro choosing Matapalo 606 for your stay here in Tamarindo and for the great 5-star review. This beautiful 3 BDR condo located on the sixth floor is perfect for couples and families. All in one floor, fully equipped and nicely furnished, it sleeps 6 guests comfortably. The property is located down town Tamarindo, within walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. The complex has beautiful grounds, a scenic pool surrounded by nature, gated parking and 24 security on site.

Hot water was in and out. The roads leading towards the property up the hill were broken and somewhat unsafe. An HOA to fix those roads is appropriate.

Amazing Patio and View

We loved staying at this house. It is stunning. Even when it rained in the afternoons and evenings, sitting outside under the covered patio was relaxing. Kitchen has all the amenities and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Yes the hill is challenging. We had a gas powered golf cart but only used it when it wasn’t raining. We were able to use Uber to get up and down the hill at night. Hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with the WIFI.

Great property for relaxing, except for maybe the drive up to the house:) Made for some excitement as we navigated up the road around ditches and big holes. Would definitely stay here again. House had everything we needed.

You do need a 4x4 car to access the property as per the hill, especially during the green season as the rain makes the roads more adventurous. Casa Pipilacha is perfect to relax and enjoy a tropical vacation. The infinity pool and views make it special. The house is nicely furnished and decorated. Perfect for families and couples.

Beyond my expectations!

This location and our experience with RPM Vacations, the property manager, was fantastic. German and Lola answered all of my questions and helped book everything prior to our vacation: excursions, gas golf cart rental (highly recommend for the hill!), sailing, fishing, ATV, and jungle adventure. Our private chef, Cristian, and all of the people we met treated us like family. Our excursions were PRIVATE and surpassed what we even hoped for. I cannot rate our experience highly enough. The rooms, the views and sunsets the patio and pool - amazing!

Fantastic! Beautiful! Fabulous!

Our stay at this home was fantastic and the house lived up to its description and more. Lola from RPM communicated with us the whole time and made our stay very easy. The location Is great with the exception of the road leading up to the house. You will definitely neeed transportation of either a car or a gas golf cart. The property inside and out is amazing and having a pool right off the patio overlooking the ocean makes you not want lo leave. For those of you who plan to cook while staying, the kitchen provides everything you need. There is a major grocery store five mins away for any of your needs. We had a private chef our last night and the food was incredible. One bit of advise; I would not do the chef on your last day because there was so much food leftover that you could have a second meal.. Once again this place is incredible and we will definitely stay here again.

I will be back!

CASA Pipilacha is beautiful. The attention to detail in the home is exquisite. I loved everything about this house, especially the sunsets. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning and wifi worked great. I didn't want to leave. It was a sanctuary or temple for me and I felt at peace there. The peeing monkeys in the pool are brilliant. The hill really isn't bad. We walked it about 3 times a day. It seems steeper driving in the car than it does to actually walk it. Thank you to the owner for sharing this home with us. I hope to spend a month here in Jan.
