Om dette overnattingsstedet

Your own dock on the Colorado River

Beautiful location on the Colorado river, enjoy sunsets, wildlife, desert trails and boating. A great destination for 'snow birds' that want to escape the cold. Enjoy the 'carnival' of Quartzite from January to March, balloons in February at Lake Havasu and trails, hiking and water the rest of the year. Average daily temperature during the day in winter is 75, and during the summer, you'll want to get your toys and jump in the 80 degree water. The property is secured with three cameras covering all external entrances to the property for your safety.

This is a super charming home. I was entertaining family at my primary River residence and decided to book John’s place in order to have some peace and quiet in the evening for myself and my 19 year old son who has Autism. John’s place is perfect - spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. The air conditioner is a beast, and the WiFi was strong - really Enjoyed decompressing in the evening with Netflix (the sound system is a nice touch!). Comfortable beds, awesome shower, and amazing view of the quiet end of the river in the morning. Just loved it all, and my son did too! This home is a gem. Thank you, John!

Jennifer, I am so glad that you could get a quite spot and relaxation for you and your son. And, what is so exciting, is you enjoyed all the amenities. Often, with busy schedules, that doesn't happen. Hope to see you again.

Great Water Front Location

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home. Great location for fishing & floating down river on tubes. Location is best for Jet Skies or Shallow V boats due to the daily fluctuating water levels you do not want to launch or keep anything else at the dock. We ended up taking our boat to the other side of the dam to Parker Strip one day and then to Lake Havasu another day. Home is also close to Casino if you like to gamble.

It was our pleasure to host you, and so glad you enjoyed your stay. The water fluctuations do require some planning, on the other hand, it makes for peaceful mornings since river traffic is minimal. Hope to see you again.

What a peaceful place w/ a water view

My husband & I were so fortunate to get to rent this place. There was plenty of space, all of the modern features one could need & a backyard on the river w/ Beautiful views. It was nice to have the AC to cool off in after a long day in the water. The kitchen is set up perfectly so cooking was easy. The hosts were super amazing & helpful. The neighbors were awesome. We can't wait to go back & enjoy it again.

Beautiful view of the river

Great location on the river. The Bluewater Lagoon community is mainly double wide trailers and some are very old. The house is very big and does have everything you need. The furniture is on the old and dated side but comfy. The furnace is not working so they provided plug in heaters. We had some very cool nights and early mornings during our stay. The one in the living room squeals so we moved the second one into that area to have two. We blew a breaker and the owner was very unhappy with us as he does not want you to move anything. There is a huge binder of things to do and not and apparently we missed the do not move the heaters. We needed it in the main living area not the bedroom. Towels and dish cloths could be replaced as somewhat musty. Having the use of the golf cart was great and the main bedroom bed is super comfortable. If you have a boat it would be super handy. Lots of seating outside.

So sorry your stay wasn't what you had hoped. There are actually three heaters, one in the spare bedroom, one in the master and one in the living room, and they can be exchanged. We do request that the heaters not be plugged in to other outlets in our housebook for exactly the reason you stated, and further, it compromised the keyless entry system. The big binder is designed to give the guests maximum enjoyment of the area. The actual house rules are two pages, that are both in the house, and emailed to you months in advance of your stay so that you can be prepared. There are eight kitchen towels in the drawer, I'm so sorry none of them met your requirements. I do hope the washer and dryer we provide enabled you to keep your other clothes clean. I'm so glad you did enjoy the Netflix and Amazon we provide.

Family Summer River Vacation 2021

Great private river access in gated community! Including dock, multiple levels for outdoor relaxing with amazing views and natural shade from two large trees right out your back door! So quiet and peaceful and practically had the river to ourselves. Sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking. House has open concept and everything you need to make you feel at home. Take the golf cart to the private beach area or neighborhood store for ice, drinks, snacks or other supplies conveniently a couple blocks away. BBQ if you like or head out to a variety of local restaurants in nearby downtown Parker. John and Lisa are GREAT hosts, responsive and accommodating, you won’t be disappointed! We were blessed to have this opportunity and plan to go back as soon as we can. Thank you for everything and sharing your home with our family!
