Great little spot. Fantastic host. On my short list of places to stay at again. Can't say enough about this property. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

We loved this property! It was clean, comfortable and safe. It had everything we needed and we definitely would stay here again. It was a great place to recharge while we were exploring Mt. Rainier, plus great dining places were nearby.

Kim thought of every possible creature comfort that a traveler might want. How she got the elk family to come through the backyard just as we were having dinner, I will never know What a peaceful place!

Great place to stay when visiting Mt. Rainier. Clean and just as described. Would be perfect for a family with kids. Really enjoyed the all season room.

Property and house is amazing. You have the country feel being close to Packwood. Was a nice way to spend time with the family at or around Mt Rainier.

This house is the perfect home away from home and close to Mt. Ranier national park. The kitchen was fully stocked (I especially appreciated the food storage, including Pyrex and tin foil) Beds were comfortable, but a little on the soft side for us. Top-of-the-line washer and dryer that let us do a load of laundry while we sat in the sunroom, reading or simply enjoying the view. The property is beautiful and serene. Check in was a breeze. I highly suggest this home if you're looking for a place to relax and refresh.

We absolutely loved the Hinkle Tinkle Hideaway and our return visit did not disappoint. The property is beautiful, so relaxing at the end of a travel day or a busy day hiking in the area. The photos don't do it justice. My favorite spot is the chair hammock at the end of a long day. The inside was immaculately clean upon our arrival and I do silly things like check the corners of the silverware drawer, etc. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The kitchen is well stocked and with quality cookware and dinnerware, not just somebody's leftover junk. Having the washer and dryer on site is amazing while on a long vacation. Both beds are very comfortable and having thick fluffy towels was appreciated. Kimberly was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Packwood is a fun little community. Staying on that side of Mount Rainier National Park saves a lot of traffic and waiting at the entrance versus staying on the Ashford side of the park. The restaurants are good, coffee shops/huts were awesome and there are nice restaurants in town. I can't say enough good about this place. We plan to be back!

The host couldn’t have been nicer. The issue wasn’t with her at all. I was just disappointed in the place itself. It was a little outdated and could use some fresh improvements, I thought it was going to be nicer than it was. Also, I thought it was priced extremely high for what we got, and the area that it was in. It was just 5 miles west of Packwood, but in a spotty neighborhood. Overall, it had a clean bed and bathroom, and that’s all we needed. So, thank you for that.

Me and my family really enjoyed our stay. It is very comfortable and nice. They have indoor and outdoor games. The kitchen is stocked with more than just essentials. Like a coffee grinder and coffee beans! Huge washer and dryer. Everything works here. You can tell they enjoy being good hosts.

I made a reservation at a local hotel and realized the night before our stay that I made it for the wrong night. I frantically called every hotel in the area only to find out that everyone was booked. I checked VRBO and found there were only two places left in the area I wanted so I jumped on it. I didn’t have high expectations since it was a good price and one of the last two available but I was only staying one night so I figured what the heck. To my surprise, this place was really nice, clean and lots of amenities. The owner was very friendly and communicated everything we needed to know and even supplied their phone number incase we needed help with anything. My only complaint was that we didn’t have more time to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit and play some of the games supplied. Great place, highly recommended.

The house was very clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was nice. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and there was plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed the personal touches like the toiletries, scented candles, lots of warm blankets, and fresh, local coffee.

We really loved the house! The pictures were accurate but the house looked even better when seeing it in person. It was also very spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was much appreciated as well as a hair dryer. The beds were the most comfortable ever and there were plenty of extra blankets. It was very convenient to do laundry as our stay was part of a larger trip to the National Parks. We did have a question during our stay and Kim, the owner responded promptly. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to the area. Also the house is close to the town of Packwood and near the Steven’s Canyon entrance to Mt Rainier.

This property was great! A peaceful setting but close to the Mt Rainier NP for exploring. We saw dear passing right by the window. The property is equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Communication with the host throughout has been excellent.

This is such a beautiful place to stay. We travelled to Washington so that I could hike in Mt. Rainier National Park, and this house is conveniently located just minutes away from it. The home is clean, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The owners are very responsive and helpful. And the five acres of property in which it is located are beautiful and peaceful. I would love to stay here again. I almost enjoyed the home and acreage as much as the hiking!
