This property is on the river however it is not accessible. The grass was knee high and you could not get down to the river due to grass and trees. This listing is very misleading and had we have known there was no access to the river we would not have stayed here. The cabin was great. It was cozy and comfortable but my husband wanted to fish and this property being advertised as river front is the reason we rented it.

Cabin location and the cabin were gorgeous!! The place was a little dusty and could use a better deep clean but it was still so enjoyable! The walk to the river was more difficult than expected so we didn’t do everything we had planned just because it was a difficult hike but we still enjoyed our time so much especially for the price!

We loved this cabin for a quick weekend getaway. We were fly fishing close by so we loved the location and the area was quiet and beautiful. The cabin was clean and quite comfortable. We will for sure for another weekend away!

Cabin was nice, well equipped. I spent most of the time that we were home just sitting on the back porch, listening to the birds and the river. Beautiful setting but some caveats:1. Lots of raw wood that attracts and holds dust. Not for you if you're allergic to dust. My grandson's allergies acted up pretty strongly any time he was in the cabin.2. Second bedroom is up some pretty steep stairs. Not for you if you have mobility issues, as does my daughter. It was quite difficult for her to go up and down. Because of that, she slept on the couch, which wasn't particularly comfortable. 3. The walk down to the river is quite steep and long. Again, not for you if you have mobility issues. 4. The cabin is pretty remote, quite far from anything you might need. I know I'm listing lots of negatives but just want everyone to make an informed decision. It's a nice place if you none of the issues i listed will affect you.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy our cabin as most people do. You should had told us you that you had people with modality issue's. We are in our mid 70's and have no problem with the stairs or the walk to the river

This was a really great experience with both the cabin and location and with the host. The communication with Jim was perfect and smooth.Whenever i had a question i got a quick response.The cabin was perfectly located in a beautiful mountain area. Unfortunately we couldn't access the "River" behind the cabin, as a severe storm with large amounts of rain came though the day of our travel to the cabin. It basically made the creek flow really fast with lots of muddy water. Too dangerous to get in and see where you were going. It did not allow me to fish there...That being said, the entire area, including Blue ridge and Ellijay was beautiful and very quaint. Overall a great experience and we will be back in the future!Eric.

The cabin itself is really cute. There are a few things worth noting that aren’t clearly reflected in the listing.The walk to the river is steep. We didn’t have an issue, but it could be challenging for those traveling with older adults or young children. The driveway is also a bit tricky, and larger vehicles may have difficulty getting in and out.The stairs shown in the listing that appear to lead to the water are no longer there, so direct access to the river from that point isn’t currently possible.On the positive side, the wildlife was truly amazing. We saw many deer on our way to and from activities, and even flying squirrels from the back deck. We spent most of our time there, enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river..it was very relaxing.

The stairs were taken out by a flash flood but are back up. If you follow the intrusion's on the frig as how to navigate the driveway it is not a problem. Your right about the wildlife. There are more deer and turkeys than we have ever had.

Great stay! The cabin was beautiful, the location beautiful and quiet, with the river a comforting tone in the background. The driveway in is a little tricky, ,and if you have a huge car it might be a problem, but this is made clear in the instructions. The single master bedroom is plenty large, and the upstairs loft is spacious, although if other than your kids are staying there they better be good friends. Still, it was a super stay and we did absolutely enjoy it.

Such a nice getaway! The cabin was nice, quiet and relaxing. It was really cold for a couple of days and there was even a crockpot that we made soup in and enjoyed just chilling out. The cabin was extremely well stocked. Loved feeding the birds every day!

This is the most amazing, authentic cabin I have ever stayed in. We did not want to leave. It was so perfect for our 33rd wedding anniversary. I will be back!

We paid to stay on the river and we walked down one time. The listing was inaccurate. The steps needed much more replaced steps. No steps to access the river. The cabin was cozy and a nice back porch. The cabin has mold in the ceiling in the shower area. Definitely needs to be cleaned more as there was lots of cobwebs and dust.

Very good location. Remote, but very quiet and peaceful. Cabin is very well equipped, especially the kitchen utensils and appliances. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet. It was a great escape from the Florida heat.

Bird Nature Paradise

Highly recommend this unique, relaxing stay. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch while watching numerous species of birds at the bird feeders along with the sound of the river. I have never seen so many hummingbirds! Comfy king bed, shower has good pressure. Great location.

There are more lighting bugs this ear that I have ever seen .Plus at night the flying squirrels come every night to the bird feeders most people don't notice. Under the bird feeders is a family of chip monks that eat what the birds trop.
