We had a great time! Everything was as shown and described. Beach view was great! Easy check-in. No problems all week.The weather was perfect until the last day, so we spent more time in the condo. The TV channel selection is not very good, I won't name the cable company. Lots of Music and Property channels. So, bring your streaming device in case you have a rainy day and need to stay in.

Property has great ocean views. Clean condo overall. The hosts communication was poor. We did not get our check in codes on time. Attempts were made to contact the host the morning of arrival but had no response. More attempts were made at 4 PM at the time of check-in with no response. Luckily the people at the front desk let us in, but said we had to contact the host for the check-in.. eventually the host contacted us but blamed it on the booking company.

I did not get any communication from this guests till ET front desk contacted me upon their arrival which was 4:20pm however they did not have to wait at the property as everything was handled in a timely manner. The system was set to send out check in instruction 2 days prior which was what i had told them that there might have been an issue w/platform was not intend to blame any entity simply was trying to explain why they did not get the instructions. Again they arrived at 4:20pm the receptionist called me at 4:23pm and they were all taken care of Thank you

When we got there the room was not cleaned very good. Our beds and bed sheets had hair and other unknown things on them like they hadn’t been cleaned. We wound up stripping the beds and sleeping on towels we brought from home the first night because we didn’t have any detergent. The coffee pot had mold growing in it from coffee grounds that had been there for a while. The view was amazing staff was great but we were not thrilled with the state of the beds

Awesome view. Communication with host was quick. The room was clean. Had issues with the door to the balcony and the tv. Communicated with the host. It was taken care of quickly. Definitely a good value.

We told the host about the things that were wrong in the condo and he acted like he didn’t believe us so if he doesn’t wanna fix him before, it becomes a big problem that’s on him. The furniture and the bedding all felt wet and damp, which to me is a humidity problem in the condo and the ceiling in the living room was peeling, which could also be a moisture problem in the bedding and even the bedding on the sleeper sofa when you unfolded, it felt damp.

Maintenance went into the unit several times, however they failed to verify the guesses claims that the furniture was damp however, we took it seriously check the AC, which was functioning perfectly fine. I was told that more than likely the guests were leaving the patio doors open, which act as a conduit in between outside and inside of the unit creating condensation since there’s no mold in the unit nor water leak anywhere in the unit or any issues with the AC they couldn’t figure out any other explanations No other guest, previous to this one made every similar claim about the unit before I do take matter seriously it’s not a matter of believing the yes or not I’m not getting the first time info from anybody else as I don’t live in Destin Nonetheless, the room was inspected today after their departure and the cleaners did not see any issues with the unit

You pay for the location. Some things are broken and some have not been replaced. This was not my home nor I expected it to be. We wanted a location on the beach. If you are fine with understanding that this is a rental property on the beach then you should be okay with it. Elevators are not busy pool was okay, gym needs some updated equipment. I will return to Destin. On to the next one.

This was such a beautiful place! The appliances are a little dated, but everything works great. The view is breathtaking, and it is in a great location. The host responded to all needs quickly.

It was fine for our one week trip. Could use many updates and much needs to be replaced. The sliding glass door is broken and barely opens. The wire racks in the kitchen are sticky and dirty. The loveseat is visibly grimy. My kids said the beds were uncomfortable. We love the building and have stayed in several other units in the building but this one needs some work.

I felt back stabbed by this guest as the only issues was the internet which was out of my hands as it affected the entire bldg. but was fixed. They were very understanding as stated that they also own a similar business hence could relate to some of these unforeseeable downfalls. They never complained about anything else ! wow My apologies for the inconvenience

This was the perfect condo for us and our 9yr old. The only downside is you have to ren your chairs and umbrella and they are first come first serve. Get down there early. But the condo was nice and the beds were comfy. It has a washer and dryer which was a plus. The view was absolutely amazing!

The pictures were very deceiving. The Beach view was amazing, but everything in the condo was so old and outdated. The dishwasher was so bad the top rack will hardly come out . Not well stocked for cooking , no extra cleaning supplies. Vacuum so old it doesn’t work well enough to pick up sand off the floor Only had two trash bags . Shower in the master bath should have been replaced 10 years ago . Location was amazing, beach view amazing as well . Would have been nice to know ahead of time that you can’t use your own beach umbrella. That made me have to pay an extra 180.00 for there chair and umbrella for 4 days .

Beautiful view, nice clean condo. Bed was comfy in master. We didn’t use the spare room. Had a issue with master toilet and had maintenance come up, they fixed it immediately and were very nice.definitely recommend this unit…

Emerald towers as a whole is fine, our particular condo was TERRIBLE. So outdated, paint chipped off all cabinets, walls look like they haven’t been painted in decades. The TV and internet were out when we arrived on Friday. Finally afternoon on Saturday the TV was working but never did have internet. The bathroom mirror frame had years of dust in the crevices, patio doors wouldn’t lock. Needs a serious deep clean/ update

Thank you for staying How come you never mentioned any of these issues while you stayed in the condo except for the TVs and Wi-Fi, which was a problem affecting the entire building, so it was an issue for the HOA, which was also fixed by the cable company in a very timely manner You also got a one star review from me

The view of the beach and water is beautiful from the room. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view. Beach has awesome white send, very clean water.

Let me start by saying that I have stayed at Emerald Towers since 1987. The location is great and the views are amazing. It’s very convenient being right on the beach. This could be a great condo if the owner would do some updates. I wish someone would have posted before I went that NONE of the TVs are Smart TVs, so you cannot stream any of your services such as Netflix or Hulu. The Wi-Fi is very spotty and did not work at times which made it impossible to even watch a movie on our computer or do any work. The condo is nice but overall needs updating as most of the fixtures seem like they’re the originals from the 80s.

Overall, the property was nice, although it did say it was wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms were too small for my chair, i could not get on the balcony and nobody liked sleeping on the mattresses. The pull out bed on the couch didn't have sheets to go with it so sleeping was very uncomfortable. The mattresses can definitely use an upgrade, oh, and none of the tvs we're working. We did like the fact that it was on the beach and in the middle of everything. So it wasn't too far of a drive to go anywhere.

I wish the guest had contacted me with any of those issues would have been resolved as there’s nothing wrong with the TVs confirmed this morning by the new guests. The sheets for the sofa are actually in the closet S for the comfortability of the mattresses some people made a comment on the twin beds, not being comfortable however they are not more than a year-old. All of these comments will be taken into account once the season is over for the year. Thank you
