Such a lovely location with close access to the river and a couple ponies! I was so excited to surprise one of my daughters with the ponies. We enjoyed using the several kayaks that were available and spending time in the hammock. Lots of green space for the kids to play and a basketball hoop. We were fortunate to have a very calm river for most of our stay, which allowed all the kids to play safely and practice their kayaking. The biggest downside that we encountered were the mattresses. None of the adults got very good sleep but the 7 and 8 year olds had no complaints upstairs in the loft. Also, there aren’t any light blocking curtains in rooms aside from the master bedroom. Unfortunately the fishing wasn’t the greatest but we still caught some. There is more opportunity off the property but we weren’t interested in leaving this spot. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place, while noting the caveats above. Grateful for the experience!

This property was absolutely beautiful and even better than we expected. There were so many thoughtful extras available that weren’t even mentioned in the listing, and they made our stay even more enjoyable.We spent most of our time just relaxing on the property because it was so peaceful. One of our favorite parts was the ponies. We brought them apples and carrots before our wedding, and they happily wandered over, making their way into our wedding photos and video. It was such a special and unexpected touch.We had originally planned to get married on the sandbar, but flooding made that impossible. Thankfully, the property was so gorgeous that we were able to move the ceremony in front of the horse pasture, and honestly, it couldn’t have turned out more perfectly.We added a painted rock to their guest rock wall before we left. It was such a fun tradition to be a part of and another example of all the thoughtful little touches that make this place feel special.If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful scenery and wonderful hosts, we can’t recommend this place enough. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a great place in so many ways. We have stayed here twice now, and I have all thumbs up (8 of them) on booking again, in the future. It is a family affair for us, spanning 3 generations. Time to connect with nature and each other. We love the many opportunities outside of these wonderful accommodations, but it could easily be a destination in itself. The property is full of nice surprises. Mike the host, is so pleasant, easy to work with, and great at communicating.

Great environment for family, river is close by and easy to access. There were some basic kitchen supplies like a crock pot, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, grill supplies, games, and more. The hot tub was really nice and clean, and the patio wrapped about 3/4 of the way around with access on each end. The house maintained a cool and comfortable temperature even when people came in and out. Swings and a fire pit were nice, the courses were super sweet, and there were lots of outside water toys. There were two tables with 4 chairs on each. There was also a shuffleboard and a table with many stools that go around it. Highly recommend, and owner Mike responded quickly and was super helpful. Note pictures are after we stripped beds to check out.

Was the perfect spot for our annual fishing trip and men's family reunion. My father has gotten to the point he could no longer camp on the river, so this place was a heaven send! It had GREAT access to the river so my 85 year old dad could access it easily to fish. The hot tub was great after a day of fishing! The grill was clean and easy to use. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was such a relaxing and private retreat!

This place is amazing. If you like spending time in a clean place that has almost everything you need while still being outdoors this is it! The river walk was so much easier than I expected and the bank was awesome. We walked tubes down to one and and floated the little rapids to the other. We did the .4 mile float one day on tubes and it was really nice. Take maybe an hour if you just float and stop once for arrowhead hunting. It rained almost the entire time but we were outside so we didn’t care. When. It poured we had plenty of games in the closet. The body wash and shampoo dispensers were a great addition. The mini horses were fun to visit and the neighbor dog was a great companion. Picked up Granny’s and everyone enjoyed. The only thing that could possibly have been better would have been more bath towels, a few more dinner plates and steak knives . Very small compared to everything we didn’t expect to have. I can’t imagine between the cabin and the river bank there being a more perfect place on the Kings River to spend with your family. Even my less outdoorsy 17 year old said he enjoyed it. We have already talked about coming back.

This was one of our favorite vacation rentals. Beautiful land, best Kings River access. The home was perfect and spacious. We fished, kayaked, grilled, did an Easter egg hunt, my kids adored the miniature ponies, our dog was in absolute dog heaven. Quick trip to Buffalo national river one day. So peaceful and quiet coming back to the cabin. We will be back. Our host was so kind and responsive. Sunsets are beautiful from the large porch. Saw bald eagles, enjoyed the hot tub. Cried when we left. Thank you for the best memories.

Hands down, best time in AR! We slept comfortably, had amenities galore, fed horses, fished, hot tubbed, ate Mex abt 13min downtown w/cocktails, floated the .5 mi twice, back to house (leaving property: L @main rock entry til you hit dirt Rd & bridge) & made it last a few hours! Mike will do whatever it takes to ensure your ease of relaxtion!!! I cannot wait to return again late spring & few xs in summer!! Go ahead & book now!

This is a great rental! Very roomy and secluded. The large hot tub was perfect to relax in after hiking. The King's river, just a 100 yards away, was stunning. Communication with the owner was always super fast and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!

Awesome spot! We had our family in for Thanksgiving and could not of asked for a better experience. River is amazing, horses sweet and our host, Mike, was accommodating and very responsive! Plus the the house is very nice too! Overall great time and I would HIGHLY recommend!

This was our second stay at Mikes and it was even better the second time around! This beautiful, secluded cabin has tons of beautiful views and lots of ways to keep everyone entertained. The house is well stocked with everything you could need. The hot tub was amazing! Well kept and clean! Mike is very responsive and check in was a breeze. We are already planning for our next stay! 10 outta 10 recommend!

The cabin was perfect for our family get together! Everything was clean, well-stocked, and worked properly. The host was responsive and easy to deal with. We’ll absolutely be recommending this property to friends and will stay again in the future
