It needs tons of updating. Room was somewhat clean. did not smell but one of three beds the mattress was extremely dirty. Thankfully I was only using two beds. The lights were extremely weak barely light up rooms. The bathroom needed care. Sink faucet was disconnected and shower knob fell off when turned. The pool seemed very badly serviced. Water was cloudy and there was mildew on all edges. I will never stay here ever again.

The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for if you want to be away from the busy loud noises. The property is ocean front, but the water is not swimmable, it's good for chilling and relaxation. The outside has so much potential if the owner would just invest on maintaining the property, a lot of patching up work around the deck. The deck floor itself is very dangerous and needs replacement. The wooden Adirondack chairs has broken pieces. The BBQ area also needs work it's just a shame. The pool is clean and perfect for a nice dip after a day in the beach nearby. Our unit in particular(1A) had poor lighting at night. Our bathroom light does not work at night, so we have to use our phone lights. The lighting in the Livingroom also flickers every night in which we reported but nothing was done nor we were compensated. There was a leak at the bathroom and that was taken care of, thanks to our maintenance guy. Our housekeeping lady was nice and was attentive with our needs. Also, there was outlets inside our unit that was left exposed. The bedding was ok. The AC inside was ok as well. I strongly believe the place is not worth how much we paid for given the inconvenience of our light situation during at night. My family stayed for 2 weeks and unfortunately given the fact that there are no cancellation options, we were pretty much stuck. I am sure there are other better options elsewhere.

My experience at Hotel Ventana al Atlántico was extremely disappointing from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was frustrating. There is no front desk or office on-site, and I had no idea how to access my room. I called multiple numbers with no success until another guest gave me the correct phone number. Only then was I told how to retrieve the room key. Once inside, we found roaches in the cabinets, a loose bathroom faucet, and several holes in the walls (see photos). Since I was traveling with my children, I tried to make the best of it and took them to the pool. Unfortunately, we found animal feces in and around the pool, creating a serious sanitation and health concern. We stayed only 37 minutes before deciding to leave. As we were driving to another hotel, the owner or manager messaged me. Instead of apologizing, he was rude and dismissive. When I told him I planned to leave an honest review, he said he didn’t care and that he likes reading reviews. Only after I stopped responding did he offer to move us to another property in San Juan, but by then we no longer trusted the him. Expedia was unable to refund us, so we lost our money. It was an expensive lesson, but our family’s health and safety came first. I cannot recommend this property. Read recent reviews carefully before booking.

In the app it was okay but it didn't never tell it was a extra Fred Plus when they did the receipt they supposed to put five people to put two so I ending paying I had 250 more to stay there I think it was so wrong but anyway it's pretty nice here place

I never write negative reviews but felt compelled. DO NOT waste your time or money! The pictures online are definitely AI. The property has potential, but currently run down. Everything needs a deep clean, paint, and repair. The pool appeared to be maintained, but we were reluctant to get in based on everything else. There is no front office and it took 30 minutes of back and forth on the phone, emailing, and texting for me to get a check in code. It was all quite sketchy. They provided merely 1 bath towel per person, the faucet had water but was broken, the shower was tiny with NO hot water, and while the room has a/c, it only cooled only one room. The stove and appliances were rusty and/or filty and the cushions on the seats were gross. There were several holes in walls leading to who knows where, and under and in between the bed and the frame were filthy. We found a little spider on the bed and ants on the ground in the kitchen. The sheets and pillow cases on the main bed seemed used, as they did not smell or appear fresh, but this is my assumption. The front door was difficult to get in and out of as it would get very stuck. Also, do not be fooled-the beach is just rocks and ocean. This was a disappointing waste of time and money. We could not wait to leave and would not have stayed after seeing it if we had another option. I didn't sleep a wink worrying the entire time. One positive was the women who appeared around check in time to answer questions. She was kind.

My stay here was great! Close to the beach and it has a swimming pool and spa. The view was wonderful and beautiful. Room was clean and towels were provided. Only problem the electricity would minimize strength and we would not be able to microwave. Thank you.

Le hace falta mucho cariño al lugar, el baño de la piscina horrible, tapado y con escrita, áreas sin pintar y llenas de moho, habitación con puerta de madera qué se podía ver a través de ella, trabajos de electricidad muy mal hechos , cables por fuera del cemento, no vuelvo.
