Resort view? More like, a view of the road. A road in which day two they decided to rip up and re-pave. Our WiFi needed to be restored and our HVAC system broke twice during a three day stay. The third time, it broke the day we checked out and the alarm system went off. All of which took a service call. Villas is dark, and was stuck in the corner. The small pool that was there, was dirty. Once again, no towels are available so, if you use your room towels, you can’t change them out. No room service available. No towel changing. No trash bag removal. Yet, we were charged a resort fee. No bag transfer. No transfer to the resort. You are definitely not at the resort. The positive is, the villas are close to tennis courts, so we could walk to daily. For the cost, we would definitely reconsider staying at the villas.

Loved the unit we stayed in. Didn’t love the confusion with the Omni on how they took care of things. You have to check in at the Omni and have access to all of their amenities but heard several times we don’t own that unit so not sure how to deal with that.

Blatant false advertising. The listing made it look like you were staying in a building with direct beach access, and instead we were shoved in what looked like rundown apartments a mile back in the woods because these “Villas” were actually privately owned buildings that were separate from the REAL hotel in the pictures besides shared access to amenities on property. I didn’t book a “resort on the beach” to have to drive a mile from my unit to a parking garage and then lug all my beach bags on a 20 minute trek around the main building in 96degree heat plus two elevator rides with no AC inside them so that by the time we reached the sand I was about to pass out and immediately had to turn around and leave. We could have just driven to Jax beach, parked in a lot for $10 that’s directly across the street, and been on the sand in 5 minutes, but no, I dropped almost a K so that I could endure physical torture with zero beach time. Putting aside the entire reason we went on the trip, the signage was so nonexistent on property that we could barely find anything including our room and the restaurants, guest services didn’t know how the WiFi worked, the freezer box in the mini fridge was so caked over with ice we couldn’t fit even a single water bottle in it, no ice machine anywhere nearby, and I had to call maintenance to come at midnight to fix the toilet that spontaneously decided to stop working. Moral of the story: don’t try to celebrate your best friend’s birthday here.

The room we got was not as advertised. 14 minutes away from the beach. No elevator, no ice nearby, no laundry, no housekeeping. Carpet in the room and not well decorated. our view was of an AC unit. Plenty of Roaches waiting for us every night outside our door. Last year, we booked the exact same stay as this year through Expedia and it was a night and day experience.

I reserved a room with two queen beds that was close to 500 square feet to ensure I had room if my adult children wanted to visit the property which was 70 miles from home. The listing showed 3 room variations and 3 bathroom variations, which led me to believe there may be multiple rooms. Upon arrival, I found the villas had two beds and a bathroom with a mini fridge and microwave on the bathroom counter. The balcony was unusable and dirty with spiderwebs, con webs, etc. you could not sit in any of the outdoor chairs without covering them and still feeling dirty. The headboards were not attached to the beds. We found mouse poop in the bee and sadly did not realize what it was until we found it on the floor two nights later. I had thought my younger child had dropped a chocolate chip cookie in the bed, or maybe I had hoped as I never experienced mouse poop anywhere in my life: there was a covered mold on the ceiling. The room smelled very musty upon arrival for at least 24 hours. There was no garbage removal or fresh towels without calling and it was 1.5 miles to where we checked in. The check in signs tell you to go to a location that tells you to go to the hotel. Honestly, we even had bad service on the property at the poolside restaurant the suncaster, which was the only place that had decent food to eat. I’m not one to complain, but I did this time and checked out early. I was only credited for leaving early. I even sent an email with photos of the mouse feces.

Some of the staff were great but overall I found that the staff were not service oriented. We waited a long time for service, help took a long time and the attitude was more of "help yourself" with some exceptions. They were pleasant but not always accommodating. The resort is a bit like a camp on this grand property which was lovely but people were not ready or prepared at every station of service; overwhelmed perhaps but not sure why as places were not always full. Maybe just inefficient or new and not trained and would apologize for being "backed up" twice; once in the lobby bar and once in the Florabelle but they were not rude or unfriendly. It wasn't the experience that I am used to where they are there to help and guide and have things ready for you. My room was not dusted. Service was also slow. I wouldn't recommend it if you're used to great service and staff who want to give you a wonderful experience. There were many pluses. The beach was beautiful and clean.

The space was immaculate, beautifully renovated, and thoughtfully appointed. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay comfortably. The beach views were spectacular, and watching both the sunrise and sunset from the property was truly a highlight of our trip. A couple of minor suggestions for improvement: * The barn doors in the primary bathroom did not fully close, which limited privacy when using the restroom. * Providing beach towels (separate from the bath towels) would be a nice addition. We noticed the villa pool did not have towels available either, so we’re not sure if they were intended to be provided. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

The view was great, but the quality of the room was subpar for the price. The room consisted of furniture that looked like it was from the 70's, and nothing was updated except the vanities in the bathroom. It was terrible quality and not consistent with what you would expect from Omni. These units are individually owned but managed by Omni. It also was creepy that part of the condo unit was closed off, but there was a door from the balcony that led into the rest of the unit. That part of the condo appeared abandoned. I would not stay there again. We reported the feedback to the front desk and they were gracious enough and offered a partial credit for our stay. Also, there was a pile of trash that sat by the elevator for our entire stay (2 1/2 days). We reported that also when we left and the front desk was going to let housekeeping know.

Quick overnight stay, but unit was very clean and comfortable. Nice location. We did not visit the beach but did walk along all the trails on the property. Check in was a little confusing - had to call because we did not know where to check in. Directions could have been a little more clear.

We loved the trails and easy access to restaurants and shopping. The room was a little dated, and the shuttle was unreliable, but overall, it was a great trip. The grounds were immaculate and the service was spot on.
