This property is within Old Town Rhodes with a gorgeous view from the roof top. There is a great little courtyard as well. My room was very spacious and very clean. The owners are wonderful people and willing to help make your stay great. Everything is walkable from the resort. Easy bus ride to the airport if you don’t want to take a taxi.

If you want to feel in the right place back in time this is the place for you. What a xosy and lovely pension. Mino the owner is the chef at the terrace where the food , service and piece and outstanding. WHAT A VIEW FROM THE TERRACE. It is a place to stay for a week. It is not fancy but it has what I need , very basic things. It has a little kitchenette. The only thing you need to consider is to bring your conditioner and shampoo.

Minos Pension Rhodes

Early summer holiday trip with family to Rhodes. Minos Pension is small, but extremely clean and tidy, family owned and runned hotel in the middle of Rhodes old town. Location is optimal for beach holiday with some 10-15 mins walk through old town to Elli beach. Personnel, owner Minos, and Patricia who is responsible of the restaurant services are really nice and helpful. Anything You ask and they are willing to help You by all possible ways. World class service!! On top of the hotel, from the terrace restaurant, You will have the best view over Rhodes old town and sunset. Good breakfast is included in the room price. I can highly recommend Minos Pension for couples and families who does not want to stay in the middle of noisy town but still within a doable walking distance. Place to really relax!

He put so hard matress its not the matress its a base matress and then you supossed to put a normal matress its was terrible to sleep on it. Also it was laud and bad internet upstors at terrace and in the room. Not reccomended.

La signora che gestisce la pensione è molto gentile, ci ha dato acqua e succhi di frutta all'arrivo e al ritorno ci ha chiamato il taxi elettrico gratuito per raggiungere la fermata dell'autobus (che non sapevamo esistesse). Purtroppo la camera che ci è stata assegnata non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative: è molto vecchia, la pulizia molto superficiale, le finestre sono sporche e l'arredamento con polvere e ditate ovunque . Una finestra affaccia su un muro. Non lo consiglierei.

Rhodes old town stay

Had a great nights stay in old Rhodes town . Minos and his sraff were so helpful . Had breakfast on the roof terrace with great views of the old town. Room was lovley also had a small terrace off our room which had the sun all morning . Great place to stay

Quiet hotel with great views

We arrived late at night but the owner was happy to let us in. The taxi driver did not drop us off at St John's Gate as requested but down by the harbour so it took a few minutes to walk up the hill but not too bad even with suitcases. When leaving, the hotel called a cab right to the hotel. Apparently taxis are allowed in to parts of the old town but do not have to do so. Pleasant stay with great views from the roof top cafe. Good value breakfast. It is only a few minutes walk to the centre of the old town but far enough away to be quiet. I would definitely stay there rather than the new town is which uninteresting with pebble beaches. Leave plenty of time to get to the airport as our cab was 20 min late and people drive slowly in Rhodes

Great small hotel in a quieter part of the old town about 10 minutes walk away from the hussle and bustle of the centre. The room was basic but comfortable and clean, with an en-suite. The air-con worked well which was essential at this time of year. Staff very friendly and helpful. There is a roof top cafe which serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals (good value). The views from the cafe across the old town are fantastic and it's a great place to watch the sun go down over an evening beer. Taxi's can't get to the hotel so you have to be dropped at St John's Gate (also known as the red door) but it only took 4 minutes walk with luggage to the hotel.

Veldig hyggelig plass å bo, spesielt for par.

Veldig koselig plass med koselig folk. Vi ble møtt av hyggelige eiere og fikk oppgradert rom i det vi ankom. Ve ble stadig spurt om alt var bra og om det var noe vi trengte. Her gjør de mye for at du skal trives. Maten på resturanten på taket var også veldig god og hadde gode priser. Er man et par som vil bo i gamlebyen på en veldig fin og koselig plass er dette virkelig en plass og vurdere.

The view from the roof garden is outstanding and the property have a pleasant garden area on the ground floor too. It is only a few minutes walk from the centre yet enough to be well insulated from the high intensity tourism. There are lots of options within 5 mins walk for restaurant bars etc. The staff were very welcoming and despite having booked an economy room for a 1 night stopover we were upgraded to a much larger suite at no extra charge.

It was off-season, so the restaurant was not open. The staff is very friendly and helpful the rooms are large and very clean. The beds could be better. The views are amazing. The location is very good.

Homely stay with lovely staff at a great location.

Simple but homely, accomodation at an outstanding location in the picturesque ancient Rhodes Old Town. Very clean. Great service from staff who go out of their way to assist in everything. What they might lack in super slick efficiency, they make up for in genuine warmth and desire to look after your every need. The view from the roof terrace bar is fantastic, a great view to breakfast over, very atmospheric spot for drinks at sunset. It's an easy walk to all the attractions of Rhodes Town - historic buildings, museums, Elli Beach, Mandraki Harbour (nice to walk around with lots of boat tour day trips to islands and Lindos etc), shops for handicrafts and jewellery, little supermarkets for practicalities, numerous restaurants (particularly recommend Mango nearby) and a casino (didn't try that.)

Notre sejour en famille fut tres agreable. La vue de la terasse est magnifique, le vent nous permet de ne pas avoir trop chaud et la nourriture est bonne! Les lits sont confortables. La cuisine suffisamment équipée. La table a l'extérieur est tres appréciée, mais partagée avec une autre chambre (heureusement nous n'avons pas eu de conflit d'horaire avec les voisins). La douche est un peu petite, surtout quand on doit partager avec un enfant, mais bon! Ce fut un sejour tres agreable! La localisation est parfaite! Il faut habiter dans la vieille ville si on visite Rhodes!

Pension sympa, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la vieille ville depuis le toit terrasse!! Bien placée pour visiter la vieille ville à pied tout en étant au calme. Chambre très spacieuse ave coin cuisine. Gèrent sympa qui nous a surclassé car hôtel n'était pas rempli. Literie assez dure dommage. Présence de volets et rideaux, c'est appréciable pour ne pas être réveiller par le jour.

Pension très bien située terrasse avec magnifique

Le propriétaire nous a très bien acceuilli mais nous ne l'avons pas revu tout au long de notre séjour.Son assistante était toutefois très disponible mais ne parlait que Grec et espagnol Bon service et excellent apéro sur la terrasse

Property was accessible by taxi contrary to what guide books advised but we walked from port as we did not know taxi was possible. Big welcome here and we were made to feel that it was critical to the owner that we had everything to make us enjoy our stay. It was like being at home but in a different country. Thanks to all at Minos pension for a good stay.
