First, the hotel lost our reservation. Then they stated that due to the hurricanes all reservations had been cancelled, in which we never received a call or anything. We had to scramble to find another hotel once we got there. It was so ridiculous!

The overall appearance was good however the room could’ve been cleaner. There were multiple hair strands left behind and stains on the comforter. The remote for the tv had crumbs in it. We were only there for one night and we checked out quickly the following day.

Never again

We did not receive any service, when we checked in they told us there was no room service. However, we did not realize that meant no housekeeping. Even when we requested fresh towels and other necessities we did not receive them. So we ask again and finally got some towels. The worst ever, I don't usually complain but you ask.

Vacation horror story

No smoke alarm..dirty carpet in room..bed bugs in room 2 doors down from us..bug in hallway....bug in coffee pumper no would dump it and make new pot....water would not drain in bathtub till shower was over....trash in trash can outside in pool area overflowing...tools in hallway for the 5 days we stayed.no one picked them up...shampooer in hallway for 2 day...airconditioner that was damaged just laying outside of entrance

Hannah, a front desk worker was really awesome!! She handled every question I had with grace. Room was comfy. The hotel was in a good location. I couldn't check check-in early due to Co-Vid. It wasn't the hotel's fault though. The men's door handle in the lobby was broken off and needs to replaced. I've been in cleaner Hampton Inns.

Ok, I prefer to stay at destin location. The view out the window is always bad, looking at roof top or another building. It's a drive around the block to beach.

pent our time at the beach and not in a hote room

Staff was helpful and friendly. For the price I thought it was fair. It has what you need. I did hear someone complaining about faulty ac units but luckily the room we had was super cold

There were old dirty sheets on the pull out bed ,not only that but there was also someones socks in it along with a false eye lash. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower head and it was molded. The room floor was so dirty it turned out feet black. The beds were very very hard and lumpy. The tv remotes didnt work the tv was set on 1 volume and the plug ins were ripped from wall and some didnt work. Hot water was sooooo very hot wich is usually a good thing but not when your trying to shower and thats as cool as it would get was steaming hot. Parking access is a joke as u have to go through many other parking lots just to get to the place. We left a day early so we could get a good nights sleep before our 12 trip back home. Most definitely wont stay there again very ran down. I usually am very easy to please and very rarely complain about stuff but this was insane. I reported everything to management before our check out they did reimburse me for the night but since i used this ap hotels.com i didnt get my money back because i booked through the ap so if i were you i would call the hotel and book that way. This way if something like this happens to you you will get your money back instead of hotels.com keeping it.

Choose Wisely

I would definitely not choose this hotel. The trash cans were not emptied around the property, the outer security door is broken so anyone off the street can walk in. My wife and children got to witness several individuals sitting in the parking lot getting drunk. The doors in several hallways are missing door handles. For what we paid at this hotel we expected a much friendlier atmosphere and a much safer location. Staying at this hotel was equal to staying at a motel 6 that charges by the hour. The name is also misleading this hotel is not in Destin. Notice it says Destin area. Choose another hotel immediately.

First room had bed bugs and they were very accommodating but I feel like I was paranoid the rest of the trip because of that. They were very quick to getting us a different room . Also the breakfast was part of the reason we booked here and the breakfast area was closed off due to Covid and the to go bags were just ok, no variety .
