Quaint cottage in a GREAT location!! Just up the road from everything you want to do in Estes Park. Beautiful view on the river, especially in mornings. Had the 2 bedroom cabin, it was great for our family of three. Great communication!

Very nice stay. Very close to the Rocky Mountain national park and awesome views of the mountains from the rooms. The unit was comfortable but if you plan to cook and eat meals, kitchen needs some improvement. Otherwise no issues with the checking in, check out.

Good stay!

This place was very comfortable, quiet and safe. Having 2 rooms, 2 baths and 2 TV's is always a luxury while on our road trip. Although we weren't on the river side, the apartment had character, and was very cozy.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The staff were friendly and very responsive. The cottage itself was beautiful and had a charming rustic feel. we especially loved the decor. The only suggestion we have is to improve the bedding, as it wasn’t very comfortable, and all the pillows were quite firm. Aside from that, everything was fantastic. The location was perfect, close to downtown, shops, restaurants, and just a short drive to the national park gates. The nearby river added a peaceful and scenic touch to our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.

Das kleine Häuschen war sehr sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Allerdings war das „Badezimmer“ mittelmäßig. Die Dusche ist direkt im Flur des Hauses und die Toilettenkabine war sehr eng… mein Mann hatte mit 1.95 m seine Platzprobleme. Wahrscheinlich ist jede Hütte aber auch anders .

Great location for a quaint facility

Location was right on the river between Estes Park and the Beavers Meadow gate of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Quaint would describe this accommodations. Built years ago, but has been kept up well. Kitchenette was convenient to make meals for the days adventure in the park and close enough to town for a nice dinner and shopping. Water pressure in the shower was average and the shower stall is small. Not a deal breaker, just be aware. The river sounds at night make it all worth it.

My family had a beautiful stay at River Ridge cottages! We stayed in cottage 6. It was exceptionally clean and was so nice to see and hear the river from the porch, and great location!!

My kids and I make several trips to Estes during the year and this was our first time staying on this side of the town. Very peaceful location with the sound of the river literally in the backyard and beautiful trees surrounding the cottages!

This cottage compared to the economy cottage is so much better. Everything is perfect. Compared to the economy cottage, the fixtures and appliances are much newer and there are mixed water taps. The cottage is beautifully decorated with bear theme and is spacious. While we did not use, there is also a beautiful bathtub with a rooftop window for stargazing. The bed is comfortable and the kitchenette is equipped with the necessary utensils, plates, kettle and microwave. Outside the cottage you can enjoy the view mountain and river. Love this cottage.

Overall the room is clean and spacious with a small kitchenette. The cottage is lovely and has a homely feel and we can see that much thoughts were put into decorating the room. The bed is comfortable and shower has enough water and is hot enough. The river view is really beautiful. However, it would be perfect if the following improvements could be made: 1) put a hair dryer in each room instead of having to request from the office 2) the toilet seat cover is missing 3) there is no kettle for boiling water.

A decent place to stay for a few days for couples. Overall it was clean, bed was comfortable, had a small fridge and stove, which is nice. If you have more than 3 people, your going to be on top of each other. The bathroom set up, however, is not user friendly at all. The shower is just crazy small! My husband and I are smaller people and we both had a hard time showering. Also, there are two sinks- one in the bathroom and one outside in the bedroom and both have two faucets running hot and cold separately. The faucets are not close so trying to get "warm" water at the same time was impossible. It is a lovely location, being right next to the river but being close to the park entrance is probably the biggest plus for us.

Great stay

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage. It was spacious and beds were comfortable. Location was perfect for quick access to town and to RMNP. There is some road noise during the day and early evening but not noticeable at night. It wasn’t an issue for us. There were only 2 pans available for cooking, a large pan and a skillet. Owner communicated in advance with check in instructions, location of room, parking and how to contact him for any questions or concerns we may have. We enjoyed our stay.

Clean. Beautiful area with the river right behind the property. Overall, for the price range it was very nice. There were just a few things I didn't really like or would have been nice to have known. Only 3 hangers for 2 bedrooms. 2 spoons. the remote to the tv didn't work. heating was really hard to control temperature. There were floor units with dials but no numbers or thermostat to set temperature so it was hit or miss. And there was a door right next to one bed that went to adjoining place that only had a tiny sliding lock set into the trim to separate the two area which my mom didn't like at all, so we had to set a chair between bed and door so that it couldn't open. Overall, a great place to stay if you know what you are getting. Just a few things could be changed at very low cost to owner to make it a lot better.
