Not bad

Cottages are Close enough to everything but definitely would want to drive and use the public parking lot for beach access. Our unit was clean, nice (but dated) definitely felt for the price it should have had more updated decor. We did enjoy the community though and the location to the pool was great! Would stay again.

For some reason they put us initially in the Egret point when we booked the cottages?

The initial place they tried to put us in verses what we paid for and booked had Mold on the walls? We went back and demanded our place we paid for? The manager was very nice and fixed it. Was not her fault. But not sure what the reason for the mixed up from the booking? Said they would credit us a night but have not seen?

Never again!

This has been the WORST rental we have ever rented in Hilton Head. The cottages by Spinnaker are DUMPS! The paint was extremely dirty--the vents were dirty and the ceiling had about a dozen watermarks on it! The entire place smelled musty--even with the air on it had an odor! If this is the face of Spinnaker, we are finished ever renting from them again!!! The hot tub wasn't operational. For safety sake, it should have had a cover over it.

Place was quiet which is a plus . The cottage needs to be renovated looks old and it looks like needs some pluming maintenance. The hot tub was out of service in the Pool area. Nice location close to beach. This is my second stay with spinnaker. Pleased with blue water resort 😍

Relaxing stay in Hilton Head

Our Cottage was very roomy there would have been plenty of room for an extra couple if needed. It was close to golf courses and the beach. The grounds were kept very nice and the front desk was responsive to anything we needed, when we wanted to add an extra day they easily accommodated us.

Parr is island bound for boot camp graduation

Was to far from Parris island but enjoyed the cottage and the big commy bed .beach was very close .will definitely go again

Cottages in HHI. 12/2017

The cottage was nice. Tv in king size bedroom didn’t work. No channels at all. My biggest complaint is that the day of check out, which was 10am, we left for an early breakfast and when we returned at 7:45 am the housekeeper was already in our cottage, she was not cleaning anything and instead going through drawers in the bedroom. THANK GOODNESS we had already packed up!!!! She didn’t speak English and proceeded to kick us out of our room !! We were in the car by 7:58 am! Needless to say, i called the resort ( was told no one could help me with my complaint till Monday ) and Expedia to complain , as of this review i have not heard from either party. It’s been 5 days since my initial complaint. I will be following up today. But BEWARE- housekeeping watches you and they obviously come into your room as they please!!!!!! And when you aren’t there!!!!!!

Great HHI trip

A perfect place to bring a family. The 2 & 3 bedroom cottages also offer 2 full bathrooms and a half bath on the main level! Beautiful and serene setting must perfect for a relaxing HHI vacation! Multiple restaurants and shops just outside the complex as well.

Great location and plenty of room

Interesting place. 3 bedrooms with plenty of room. It had a lot of things wrong and a lot right. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses etc. nice deck. Bad side-peeling ceilings, lights out, etc. overall good stay.

Not much sleep

One night we had drunks on their back porch screaming and laughing until about 2:00 a.m., and two nights later, the family next door let their small kids run up and down the staircase about 1,000 times until about midnight. This was the night before we left to drive 700 miles home. Common courtesy training for renters should be mandatory.

Very comfortable!

The Cottages were very comfortable and made our stay great! The kitchen and laundry was very convenient and everything was working and clean. My only complaint was that it was really hard to find the place where you check in. It took us forever to find it and I think that specific directions should be made available when you make the reservation. Besides that, the location of the cottages was superb, conveniently located with a lot of conveniences around. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, idyllic location

We loved the location, the accommodation and everything about Hilton Head Island. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend to anyone. The only slight drawback was trying to find the accommodation. Instructions really need to be more specific.

Beautiful well kept neighborhood

The cottage we stayed in was perfect. Very clean and idyllic. Check in was difficult. We went to the address listed for this property The security guards saw our res in the computer and gave us a parking pass but they couldn't tell where we needed to go to actually check in. Apparently individuals as well as several different management companies rent the properties in this neighborhood. You will have to call Spinnaker resorts to get their address to check in. The staff there was very helpful and courteous. Once we ironed that out the rest of the week was excellent. Something to consider though is that although the beach is not fay away on a map you cannot walk directly to it. There are only a few points of entry /exit from the neighborhood so the beach is effectively about a mile away. This is easy and fun on the numerous bike paths through the area. The neighborhood (Shipyard) has their own access point to the beach though with parking if you didn't want to bike or walk. The cottage had a pool with a hot tub very nearby. There was a pretty pond across the small street and yes there were alligators in it. The landscaping was excellent. Felt comfortable letting my kids ride the paths throughout the area.

The condo was very clean, and exactly what I expected. The surrounding areas were fun, although not marked well enough. We ended up at a private location to see about renting bikes. Thankfully the security guard helped us out! Had a great stay and would refer to anyone!

Tile broken in front entry way and in both bathrooms, bathtub cracked and leaked, shelving had wood splinters by plate. Dishwasher bottom rung broken and metal tabs missing. Huge amount of bees in guard rail by front porch. Called customer service and no one called back or sprayed problem. Could have tolerated other items but I was stung by 3 bees. Stayed at other spinnaker resorts before - this one is a no go.

Very clean accommodation in a great location.

This is a great location and very nice complex. The "patched" ceilings from past leaks and rather dated and tired furnishings are the only thing that needs attention. Very clean, however from a housekeeping perspective. I would stay here again, but the interior could use a refresh soon.
