Much Needed Getaway!!!!

Our stay was amazing!!! My family has had loss this year and we just wanted to get away. Tidewater had everything we needed to make a stay great! Our washer and dryer did not work, but they made it right with us. I have no complaints.

We enjoyed ourselves . The only thing was the elevator . We were lucky to be on the 4th floor so we used the stairs more than the elevator . The best time to use the elevator is early mornings.

Great location! Love availability of chairs and umbrellas. The staff at the beach very helpful. Our room was nice but there was an extremely bright light outside the bedroom. They need room darkening curtains. So bright. We ask for 2 blankets, a remote for TV and only had 1 garbage bags it took them 3 days to deliver after multiple requests. Front desk staff not helpful. Wish the pool was heated. Hardly anyone in the beautiful pools because they were so cold!! Hot tubs were nice.

We had a few minor issues, Vacasa responded immediately to assist us. The only feedback was lack of extra bedding like a blanket in the bed or an extra blanket. Our bedroom was right off the walkway and needed room darkening curtains as the blinds didn’t block the light but that is more if a personal issue that I need full dark to sleep, Vacasa was very good, woukd rent again.

The furniture is falling apart and has not been cleaned and probably a decade. The indoor pool had so much dirt on the floor the drains were clogged. Some of our dishes in our unit had rotted food on it. Horrible amount of construction happening, per usual.

Great Place

After you do the on line check in front desk has your packet and your off to a great stay. Rooms are very spacious and full filled with all your needs . With a patio ocean front the view is spectacular. A great place to stay .

Room and view was great they need to get the elevators working looking at reviews that's been a problem for a very long time took us over an hour to check out because of lack of elevators working so sad because it is a nice resort but elevators are a big issue here many times waiting for a very long to get one.

The elevator situation was HORRIBLE. WiFi didn’t work in room, TV’s were all unplugged upon arrival, refrigerator was hot, beds were missing blankets. Was not pleased with this location at all.

The property was very dated. The mattress on the bed was absolutely wore out. The couches in the living area were in need of been replaced and head covers on them. Everywhere you looked, there was signs of wear and you could see where the walls had them touched up instead of being painted. All in all, the condo was in need of a major renovation. With the condition of the property, it should have been rented at a discounted rate. We decided to put all this behind us and enjoy our vacation anyway. I would not recommend staying in this unit. The owner should take more responsibility for the condition of the condo.

Room 1404 , dryer didn’t work. Broken tiles in the kitchen covered up with dirty rugs. Casper was filthy. Over an hour wait for an elevator each time. Very inconvenient , for the price people pay to go on vacation these things need to be updated or it needs to be let known from the beginning. Beautiful views from the balcony , pools were nice , beaches were beautiful staff wasn’t very friendly in the front nor helpful. No tissue for bathrooms. No detergent for dishwasher .

I don’t like to leave poor reviews but this place needs some improvements ! First, our room was not ready when we arrived the couch cushions were soaking wet from being cleaned and one side of the condos power didn’t work which we had to wait hours to have fixed! The elevator situation needs mass improvements we had to wait 45min to an hour to get to our room and the beach ! Thank God our room was on the 6th floor and we walked the stairs mostly but we shouldn’t have had too. I just feel bad for anyone of the top floors or and one handicapped that didn’t have a choice! Definitely won’t stay here again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE!

DO NOT EVER MAKE YOUR RESERVATION HERE!! IT IS THE WORST NIGHTMARE EVER!! My reservations was made and paid in advance with a confirmation number, I drove 7 hours from Tennessee with my family looking forward to their last beach vacation based on age. I was turned away after 2 hours attempting to find my reservation, no manager could be reached, I finally found a last minute place away from the beach with no view! At 11:50 pm, I get a call that my reservation is found and if I check in before 12:00pm, I will not loose my reservation! This is not a reasonable time, 10 minutes!! I can't even drive there in that time frame! I did not get a refund because the Management would not answer the calls or request. I am not able to get a refund and for a senior family, this is devasting. No one cared that our entire trip was over based on this place lack of professionalism. With my confirmation, they could have seen our place was reserved and paid for and offered another condo or even room, but they did not. I would never recommend this place, it is terrible and will ruin your dreams of the forever trip! Instead it is the worst trip forever!
