Great location in Port Douglas

Great apartment with all the amenities you need, including a 2-burner cooktop, all in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved that it is was adults only in a private more quiet setting.

Great location, but not a four-star hotel

The hotel was located in an amazing part of town, right on the main drag. However, the condition of the hotel was not that great. The bed was a bit old and uncomfortable. Additionally, the size of the room was very small which barely fit the bed. The shower had good water pressure but the water would drain onto the floor causing a wet mess to clean up. The staff at the hotel was really nice, but this is for sure a two-star hotel, not four-stars as advertised.

Location is in the center of town, walk to everything! Patrick booked all of our activities for us from the hotel, so easy! Great pool too!

Convenient and affordable

If you’re looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay while in Port Douglas, this hotel is perfect. Macrossan is the Main Street in town, with lots of restaurants and shops right outside your door and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel was perfect for us, as we were really only there at night and spent most of our time on full day tours of the rainforest and Reef. If you’re looking for a more resort-type experience, there are other hotels nearby that would be a better fit, as the Newport definitely isn’t a luxury accommodation. The rooms are very small, as is the pool, I’ve never experienced thinner toilet paper, and they ask you to take your own trash out when you leave. But as I said, none of this was really an issue for us as we treated the hotel as a bed only, and it was perfect for that. Our room did have a nice whirlpool tub and deck that made our mornings and evenings very relaxing.

Location is excellent The actual set up of the room was a very standard basic room.It was noted the property is in need of some renovation and maintenance .It is also noted that vacancy rate was low and they would possibly do quite well as a budget family room arrangement. There are better options around the area for adults only accommodation

Just had a fantastic week staying here. Great location in the middle of Port Douglas close to restaurants and Coles supermarket. Comfortable bed, ensuite with plenty of hot water. Kitchen with hotplate, microwave and dishwasher. Our balcony overlooked the pool. Adults only and also non-smoking. Secure car-parking. A quiet complex we would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

ポートダグラスのショッピングモールの目の前にあり、どこに行くのも便利です。大人専用のホテル(18歳以上)でプールやバーベキューコンロも有ります。全て階段ですが、特に問題は無いです。 かなり早い時間の到着でチェックイン時まで荷物だけ預かってもらおうと思っていたのですが、 直ぐにお部屋に入れてもらえて、ゆっくり休む事が出来ました。嬉しかったです。 お部屋には必要な物は揃っています。 短期滞在だと部屋の掃除は来ません(基本は7日に1度)掃除道具も有りますので、大丈夫です。 バルコニーも有るので、そこでお茶を飲んだりできます。 レインシャワーのみですが、温度も水圧もとても良いです。 1番良かったのは、レセプションの方の対応です。 名前はわかりませんが、本当に親切でチェックアウト後も私達を助けてくれました。とても感謝しています。 またポートダグラスを訪れる時は利用します。

Perfect location and super friendly

We arrived post cyclone and Mandy on reception was so helpful and friendly. A landslide occurred and blocked the road so we had to go back to the hotel and they were again so helpful. Hotel location ideal in centre of town.
