My experience was a mixed bag. Pros: The staff is very friendly. The bedrooms and the bathrooms are nice. The compound feels safe, and there is plenty of free parking. The outdoor spaces are pleasant and well equipped with robust furniture. Cons: The living room is very dark, and the furniture looks and feels like it's straight out of goodwill, with scratches and stains everywhere. The kitchen looks like it was last updated in the 1980s and smells of mould. The plumbing is clunky. It takes forever for warm water to arrive in the primary bathroom, and it's virtually impossible to adjust the temperature. The pool closes at 5 pm, which I find is too early. Overall, I would only recommend this residence if you plan to spend most of your stay outside the compound, sightseeing, hiking, cycling, or surfing. If you are looking for a place where you hope to spend most of your day, I would look at other options.

Nice stay with some hassles

Itā€™s a good property, a long walk to the restaurants but we didnā€™t mind that. unfortunately there was noisy building work going on, we had to move rooms, we got a damp smell in the new one. The hotel did try to be accommodating and the filter water tap was excellent. Despite some inconvenience weā€™d go back.

Not the quiet break we were looking for!

Have been staying at Jardines Del Sol for years now, it matches our needs, clean and lovely bar and restaurant onsite. The problem here is the customer service it never fails to disappoint and this time was no exception, yet again building work going on right in front of our villa, said they were full and wasnā€™t, it was available to book and we was told by a member of reception staff they were not full. Asked to move on checkin and they fobbed us off for 2 days until we finally gave in and unpacked. Spent the next week listening to sawing, banging your name it - meant the terrace we paid for was useless - couldnā€™t even have a morning coffee out there. Just a warning any problems will fall on death ears - believe me!

Ok, but could be better.

It's ok overall, bungalows are spacious but there is room for improvement with regards to service. Service ranged between absent to bare minimum. International standard for a hotel doesn't apply here (things like helping with carrying luggage etc.). Complaints are responded to with defensiveness - it's not a debate club but a transaction between a customer and a business. If the business fails to satisfy, then it's on the business, not the customer. Also, the food was edible, but could have been better. Given the relatively cheap price, I can rate it ok, though. On the other hand, I won't be coming back.

L'hotel a bien convenu Ć  nos besoins avec un logement globalement bien Ć©quipĆ© notamment la cuisine. Ceci dit un des lits doubles que nous devions avoir s'est avĆ©rĆ© ĆŖtre un canapĆ©-lit. La rĆ©sidence est calme et bien entretenue, la piscine est un plus rĆ©el - mais la dĆ©coration n'est pas des plus rĆ©centes; certains Ć©quipements sont mĆŖme un peu vieux comme les TV qui ne sont pas connectĆ©es (pas d'accĆØs possibles aux services de streaming). Enfin, il faut avoir en tĆŖte que la rĆ©sidence est un peu excentrĆ©e et qu'il faut prĆØs de 1h30 pour rejoindre les points les plus au nord de l'ile.

Third time we've stayed here, the resort is exceptionally clean everywhere. Staff always helpful and friendly. Had an issue with the drainage and the shower flooding the bathroom, one phone call had maintenance, fresh towels and housekeeping in within 10 minutes to sort. On site restaurant and bar not as good as previous stays as it has become well used by ex pats and local residents which unfortunately means service not up to par if you can actually get a table on event nights.
