Crystal cove is a great place to stay. The condo C9 is very outdated. I would recommend staying @ sapphire beach however not this condo.

Adele and Bernie were fabulous front desk sales representatives. I knew I could always call them with anything I was needing. I planned this trip for my sister who has walking disabilities and everything was perfect because of the great communication I had with these two women.

It was nice and all but I kinda wish it looked like the images. But for that, we’d have to go back in time. It’s just beat a bit, bad paint, falling tiles… it felt like I was staying in my grandmothers basement back in Chicago. A fresh cost of paint and few repairs would do this place wonders.

The beach is beautiful! The scenery is spectacular. The gardens are beautiful. I had contact with the front desk when I checked in and they were great. The unit I stayed in had not been updated since constructed in the 60s or 70s, the air conditioning did not work...at all. Luckily, I don't mind a little heat and usually there was a sea breeze blowing in through the windows and it cooled off at night. But, let's face it, I wasn't here for the accommodations, it was the beach I was after and the beach delivered!

Bed bugs!!!!!!

Start off with positive, beautiful beach. Now the bad, where to begin. Put us in the wrong wrong and then asked that we leave our room for the day so they could clean it at the same time they were cleaning the correct room. I refused since I paid for a room that day. Paid for ocean front, the fist room we were put in was the farthest from ocean front, couldn’t see it from the h it at all. Now for the worst part, bed bugs!!!! We left covered in bites. I’ve contacted the property and sent pictures and received zero response. So disappointing.

Nice and clean we didn’t have power for two days no ac , it was hot I went with a newborn baby and an autistic child it was hard for us and they don’t even compensate us for that but besides that I love it

While the front desk staff were friendly, the wifi did not work in the room. The tv was attached to the wifi, so in addition to not having wifi, we did not have tv. When we alerted the front desk to this, they did nothing for 24 hours. When I again alerted them to this, I was given a password for a router that was not in our room. The signal was weak and would not allow us to use the tv.

We've stayed at Crystal Cove several times. The location is perfect. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the beach bar has great drinks and food. Some rooms are a little dated but I have always found them clean and comfortable. The outside of the property is well maintained and safe. The office staff is very friendly and attentive. Laundry is on site if not in your unit. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Crystal Cove Villas is a clean, safe place to stay without all the bells and whistles. The decor is dated, but it wasn’t a big deal to us since we we were exploring most days. There is a coffee shop/bakery (7a-2p) and beach bar (11a-6p) on site. There’s also a pool and tennis court that we didn’t use. The best part about this property, however, is it’s proximity to Sapphire Beach! We’ve stayed here before in 2019 and the seaweed was cleaned daily…that wasn’t the case this time. We understand that the pandemic may play a role in this though not sure. We like the area and may try to the condominiums next door during our next visit.

This is my third stay at Crystal Cove and it was disappointing due to the condition of our apartment we stayed in C9 and it was very run down and not cleaned before our visit. The staff at Crystal Cove is very nice and the beach Sapphire Beach is amazing but the owner with the condo that we stayed in needs to put a couple dollars into it ….(ceiling fan and lights didn’t work in my bedroom extension cords everywhere, outlet hanging out the wall) we will not stay at that unit again if we even stay at Crystal Cove…. at all it’s really a shame because I love that place.

The place was alright. The buildings were kind of run down and the pool was useless but it was just alright. I will say that you will want to bring antkiller because there are plenty of ants in and around the kitchen area. The dishwasher could be the first dishwasher ever made. It doesn't work and it just takes up precious space. Also, do not look up into the stove vent. It is VERY disturbing. I'm pretty sure the Queen Ant resides in that vent. The people that work there are not rude but they are not friendly. Looking back at it all, I would have spent the extra money and booked my stay at Margaritville.

The room I was given was outdated and dirty. Floors were horrible and the kitchen was from 1900s. Everything in that room was old and worth the cost. You are only paying for being near a beach.

Don't count on your reservation

Family and I booked a 2 bedroom condo 4 months in advance. Briefly before arrival, we received an email saying the 2 bedroom was not available, despite the earlier confirmation of the reservation. Everywhere else on St. Thomas was booked, so we were stuck with a one bedroom and a futon. We complained to Hotels.com - apparently the "guaranteed" reservation doesn't mean anything as they indicated that they contacted the facility and the facility had declined to address the matter. Very disappointed in Hotels.com and this property. Aside from the property's failure to honor the reservation and Hotels.com's failure to address the matter, the property is very dated. The grounds are well kept and pretty, and they do provide beach towels, BUT the units are dated and very dumpy inside. Although the beach is close, seaweed is a major problem, so it's not a good place to swim or snorkel. Red hook is close, but it's a long drive to Charlotte Amalie. In short, if you are spending the time and money to get to the Caribbean, pick a different place and consider a different booking site as well.

We love our stay everything was great, clean, we had everything we needed, the pool was beautiful and big, the only thing that was not so good was the beach, but we went to other beaches and enjoyed it, the front desk staff were friendly and so sweet!!

This was a one bedroom condo which felt like home. Condo was updated, in building A. We had a nice view of the beach and we were walking distance to two restaurants. Taxis were available by the property. I did not give a perfect score because the beach had a lot of seaweed.

I chose Crystal Cove for their location to all the activities and tourist attractions I had planned and booked while we were on vacation. I cancelled a rental car because reserving this Villa put us within walking distance or quick taxi service. I also chose this Villa because it came with a Queen sized bed in a separate room plus two futon couches and the trip was for my 16 yr old son and I and that privacy was important. I confirmed 3 times prior to arriving our reservation. After staying one night I was told we were being moved as they had someone else reserved for our Villa. We were moved off site to another resort further away from everything i had planned. Also it was just a Queen sized bed and a wicker sitting area which forced us to sleep in the same bed. Then after a long day on a tour of Mountain Top and Magen's Bay in which there was no wifi service upon return all of our luggage, groceries, everything was gone from our room. I thought we'd been robbed. In a panic we luckily got to the office before they were closed for the day. We were told that the second resort could only help out Crystal Cove in placement for one night so they came and moved our things to a 3rd place. This place was a studio very small and by the smells from the Marina. There was NO communication. I confirmed 3 times our reservation. I advised my phone service wouldn't work due to no Verizon towers on the Island. The only communication was via wifi on email. Ruined our trip!

We were booked through Expedia. Two days before, they emailed me and said they were overbooked. They left me no choice but to stay at a person’s house off site. They had no central air but only two ceiling fans. I have two kids traveling with me. Not a choice to sleep in that condition. Had it not been for the other family we were traveling with, my family would have been on the streets that night! Expedia did me wrong!
