Nice, spacious, clean option right in the heart of downtown. Convenient for in-town attractions as well as renting a car across the street. Big and tasty breakfast buffet!

Good location. Helpful, friendly and courteous staff. Minor repairs needed on some things in the room (window latch, slow draining sink, toilet moved). Food in the restaurant was ok, not great. Otherwise, it was perfectly suited for our needs.

Easily accessible, located near amenities, 25 min walk to Waterfront and 8 min by taxi. Hotel Reception and staff are all eager to help. I engaged with just about everyone from the room cleaners to management and they were all great with a smiley face. The WiFi service is excellent which I was not expecting. You will not spend time in any hotel here since you will not have time to complete your itinerary for there is sooo much to do and see.

Comfortable and good location for tourists

It was a comfortable stay with a variety of options for breakfast. The room was small but had a great view of table mountain. The room service was average, once they forgot to clean the room and we had to call them in the evening to do it. Overall near the bus tour stop(1 block) and very near long street for tourist shopping.

PEOPLE IN SOUTH AFRICA ARE GREAT BUT BE AWARE

the hotel is ok. but i have to complain about the staff. I was going to simon's town. I did the research the t train ride is great from cape town to simon's town. And it is really great but the train is very basic and too much rush if you go at the rush hour. Issue I have is like this - I asked the receptionist about the train ride she said "train does not go if there is high tide". I asked her , can you please inquire about it. After sometime she said that the train is not running to simon's town. she advised to take taxi which she can arrange in 400R. I enquired about the bus service, she said bus does go there but I have to go the the bus stand which will cost 14R. so I proceed to the bellboy and asked him arrange the taxi to the bus stand- he went to concierge and said it will cost 160R. then I came back to receptionist and told her the price , she was surprised and then she mentioned that according to concierge the price for taxi for simon;s town is 760R. The way conversation was going I felt uncomfortable and smelt something fishy. so I left with my baggage to train station which is five minute walking distance. There were 3 trains going to simon's town 30 min apart. And train ride to simon's town was only 10R. I COULD UNDERSTAND SAFETY CONCERNS OF THE VISITORS BUT PROVIDING WRONG INFORMATION AND TRY TO RIPP OFF THE VISITORS IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. THIS WAS MY 1ST DAY IN THE CAPE TOWN. IT LEFT ME WITH VERY BAD IMPRESSION ABOUT PEOPLE OF SOUTH AFRICA.

Hotel not for business travel.

There were no private areas. Not conducive for a business trip. Insufficient parking and no parking available when arriving back late at hotel. Valet lost my car for approximately 2 hours. I missed business meetings due to them not being able to locate my car. Coffee shop in the middle of the parking lot???? USB charge points were not working in the bedroom. Room service had a R150.00 Tray charge.

Avoid

Aviod this hotel, no good value for money. Breakfast no good, nothing in the room, in spite of call to room service. Understandably nobody in restaurant for lunch. Nobody seemed to care.

O hotel já não é novo , os elevadores necessitam alguns cuidados , como trocar o piso encardido pelo tempo. Nos momentos de pico, há lotação é grande espera para se conseguir utilizar os elevadores . O pessoal é bom, atencioso , o café da manhã é ótimo, apenas o prédio há est um tanto gasto , necessitando algum cuidado , em especial com os elevadores

Staff very friendly but facilities need upgrading ; the charger/docking station in the room didn't work ( but was fixed quickly) and the lifts were not working properly.

Tall hotel let down by lifts.

The hotel is quite central, basically on an arterial road that comes off the motorway from the airport but we'll into town. Whilst I was presumably on a high floor, the 10th, I had no view as I backed onto other high-rise buildings, which is a shame being in Cape Town. The 3 lifts that serve the 17 floors of the hotel are in need of a refit, they are crawling slow and almost inconvenient. The helper staff are friendly and very helpful, they made for good conversation and a pleasant stay.
