First time in this place, despite knowing whole Vilamoura, and i loved it. Quiet area, safe, supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby in case you don't want to go far, cheap laundry a couple of meters away, plenty of garden areas nearby where you can enjoy a nice walk. The property itself is simple, but it has everything you need, including an iron and a board to help you get your clothes look nicer for your night outs. I was recommended this property months ago, and it was my best option, definitely coming back next year.

Rio apartment

You get what you pay for. Basic but clean accommodation and restaurant alongside here is amazing food plus service. Good location for beach plus marina about 20 minute walk. Albufeira taxi about 25 euros. Reception helpful we arrived very late and a gentleman was there ready for us. Pool small sunloungers about 20 which was fine for us. Weather great spar around the corner .

Extra charge applied due to late check in !!! Deposit taken as security against damage to room. Room looked wrecked to start with. Beds have 2" shelving directly above pillows ( only 1.5' above too ). Hit my head twice in 5 nights. Take your own shampoo and shower gel as these are not provided. Went elsewhere for food simply based on room condition and check in staff. Portuguese people are very friendly so surprised with their attitude to their work here. Ok, this was the cheapest in my search but I've learned a lesson and you've guessed it I won't go back.

Nice place to stay

We arrived out of reception hours but were given a number to call. The response was immediate and service excellent. Rooms are spacious but basic. Pool and surrounding area a little small for the size of hotel. The restaurant and bar area was excellent, great food and drink well priced. Location 20 minute walk from the marina, 5 euros in a taxi. Pinhal golf course 2 minute walk. Would recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.
