Excellent location to go every where. All buses pass around the corner. The mall and supermarket right downstairs and across the street. The apartment has everything you need to sleep and quick cook snacks to save some money. Good ratio price / quality.

I booked a room for a July music festival weekend already in February. Ebookers confirmed 100% and no other comms. When arrived at the site, after one hour with back and forth calls to different people, it turned out that hotel had cancelled the reservation without notifying me, absolutely no alternative was given, let alone apology. Even blamed me for not ”contacting them and confirming the reservation(?). Absolutely disgrace of a process and customer treatment. Avoid if you want to secure a hotel room for your stay.

We stayed only 2 nights and initially our access code did not work and a 2nd code needed to be sent delaying our check in by a full hour. That 2nd code worked only for the next day and on the morning of our check out the second code failed to work in the morning and my wife was locked out of the building, even though it was only 9 am a full 2 hours before our check out time of 11am. There is not excuse for such a system that repeatedly fails for a renter.

Immediately after arriving I tried to contact fornom and could not make contact with anyone. I contacted hotel.com and they couldn’t make contact either. The room had an insecure door which looked like it had been forced at some point and was damaged. There was no other way to secure it like a chain or lock so I didn’t feel safe. The room looked onto an internal wall which was the side of a shopping centre. This wall was illuminated 24/7 so the room was never dark. The next day when I finally managed to contact fornom I asked for a move to a room with natural light and a secure lock. I was told I could move but they couldn’t guarantee it would be an improvement. I asked for a refund for the remaining nights so I could go elsewhere. They told me I couldn’t get a refund because I had been offered another room. The evening before I left they moved me to … the room next door , the door was secure but it still looked into an illuminated wall, this time with a space where we could see all the people in the shopping centre waiting for the toilet - which was at the other side of the wall. Aside for all this, the room was in poor condition marks all over the walls, extremely thin “mattress”. Corridors are all painted black and are very dark. It absolutely ruined my stay in Turku. After all the back and forth and because I’d moved rooms … I was offered 10% refund from fornom

Good budget option in the heart of Turku

With probably the best location for a visit in Turku, right next to the market square, inside the Hansa bulding, Forenom Apartment hotels provides all the budget traveler needs. The room itself was imho perfect considering the price. Nothing was brooken or looked worn out, unlike the condition of another rivaling hotel chain with the same business strategy. The beds were nice enough, access to basic kitchen stuff, and private laundry machine in the bathroom. The bathroom was very good too. Been to many shabby hotels with terrible showers/bathrooms, and this was not one of them. Very good. And with heated floors. The negative aspects of this review cones from what is outside the room; the entrance staircase and the elevator inside it looks to be pre-WW2. Especially the elevator; it is scary. And then there is the corridor where the rooms are located; dimm lighting and doesnt look very inviting and I was very discouraged when I entered and wondered what the heck I have signed up for. But as mentioned, the room itself was good. Remember, keep your expectations accordingly! Possibility to order breakfast for extra fee. I didnt go, so cant judge the quality of it. My biggest gripe is that check in is at 4 p.m., which imho is way too late. Still, for the price, quality of the room and the excellent location I highly recommend this hotel for the budget concious traveler.

Stockmanと隣接する商業施設の建物内にあり、入り口がわかりにくかったですが無人でスタッフがいないので施設のインフォメーションに聞いてなんとか辿り着けました。 家電やキッチン用品のファシリティが申し分なく、近くのマーケットなどで購入して自炊もできるので長期滞在にも良さそうでした。 Turkuに行くことがあれば利用したいと思いました。

Hieno huone loistavalla paikalla. Ainoanegatiivinen asia oli että perusTV kanavat eivät toimineet. Tarjolla vain maksullia kanavia… miinusta. Muutoin oikein hieno kokemus.

Hyvä huoneistohotelli hyvällä sijainnilla. Vähän ehkä nuhjuinen, ja huone kaipaa pientä siistimistä ja paikkaamista. Kiva sisustus, mutta tyynyt voisivat olla laadukkaammat ja paremmat. Jääkaapissa ei ole pakastelokeroa. Muuten oikein hyvä, tulen varmasti vielä uudestaan.

Pyysin etukäteen huoneen ja kiinteistön esteettömyystietoja. En kuitenkaan saanut pyytämäni tietoja, (esim. Kylpyhuoneen kynnyksen korkeus). Paikan päällä jouduimme lisäksi toteamaan, että kiinteistön ja huoneen ovet olivat todella raskaita, eivätkä auenneet kunnolla. Lisäksi myös huoneen ovella oli kynnys, josta ei ollut etukäteen mitään tietoa. Nämä hankaloittivat merkittävästi pyörätuolilla kulkemista majoituspaikkaan ja sieltä pois. Lisäksi nämä tiedot, sekä esim. kynnyksien ja oviaukkojen tarkat mitat olisi pyydettäessä saatava majoittajalta. Nyt näin ei ollut, eikä heillä edes itsellä ollut näitä tarvittavia tietoja.

Loistava sijainti samassa rakennuksessa kuin iso kauppakeskus. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli helppo. Huoneen sijainti oli rauhallinen, huone hyvin siisti ja sänky hyvä. Huoneessa oli hyvät välineet aamiaisen/lounaan valmistamista varten ja astianpesukone. Kauppatori ja Kauppahalli lähistöllä. Aurajoki ravintoloineen lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Hyvä hintalaatusuhde. Varmasti tulee yövyttyä siellä jatkossakin.
