The place was epic. The entire apartment was clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The complex was delightful. The pool was large and clean. Our host Cristina contacted us prior to our visit, and we were able to check in early. She was a delight to deal with. Access into the complex was easy with the remote that was provided by Cristina . Can’t wait to return to this beautiful and comfortable complex. Wonderful stay.

It's a beautiful resort. The apartments are superbly located. We had a truly stunning view of Funchal, the harbor, and all the boats. A fantastic, luxurious apartment, delicious food on the golf course, a wonderful day at the spa, and a lovely afternoon tea at the hotel. It was fantastic, and we will definitely be back.

Very happy we chose Palheira Village for our stay. The place exceeded our expectations with beautiful views, large rooms and house was very clean. The heated swimming pool was perfect and the kids really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and responsive. The restaurant at the golf course near by had great food and service and the views were amazing. I highly recommend this place and will be rebooking here whenever I visit Madeira. My only wish was that the homes had basics in the kitchen like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and oil.

Wonderful rooms- the 2 bedroom villa has a powder room on the main floor, multiple terraces and balconies and a lot of space. Absolutely felt at home- full kitchen, easy to drive to or take a cheap uber to Funchal (typically $7-10). Would stay here again, especially good for families or groups of couples, you have the space you need for privacy and plenty of space to be together and play games, eat meals, etc. Property responded quickly to questions or any issues.

We love Palheiro Village. This was our 4th stay. We always stay here in Madeira. Our hearts fell in love with the view from our balcony on our first visit. Now, Palheiro Village feels like home.

My girlfriend and I stayed for over a week at Palheiro Village. Let me start by saying how impressed we were with the whole experience. The space feels very safe and clean, the staff and other guests are friendly and welcoming. The building we stayed in had adequate parking and a short walk to the pool. During the visit we also played a round at the golf course. Which was a very respectable course, especially for more advanced golfers. I would definitely recommend a stay at Palheiro Village to freinds and family

Had a great time in Palheiro village. The villa (3 bed) was very spacious and well furnished. Only slight downside was that some of the carpets had unsightly stains. We were very close to the swimming pool and games room, and made good use of these. A car is essential if staying in Palheiro village as is very hilly and a good distance from other locations. Maderia itself was wonderful, and the the relative close proximity of the villa to Funchal was good. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.

Great golf and apartment

We were 3 persons sjaring this apartment. Great! Very nice people running the place. We did not have a car, but a shuttle was picking us up when we were carrying golfbag up to the golfcouse- extremely steep arret upwards, but nice to get a good exersice We rented an apartment, lowest down, very close to the busstop, but a bit noisy at the terrasse, from traffic (only downside I would say)

Beautiful Villas. Be Careful of Extra Charges

A lovely hillside full of beautiful apartments/villas, with great views to the sea and Funchal. The central forum heated outdoor pool is free to use, but you will need to pay quite a bit extra for the gym (very tiny and not much equipment)/indoor pool which is based in the spa buildings at the top of the hill. See the hotel website for details. We had a car, so driving up and down the hill between the pool and villa was fine, but it would be a good walk up/down the hill if you didn't. I'd say staying here, a car makes things much much more convenient than if you don't have a car.

Property was excellent, safe, clean, and the location was fantastic. Unfortunately our unit was on the lower level so the views from our unit were not good. We had booked sea view and our view was blocked by trees so no real open sea view. Staff was good and responsive. Had washer in the unit but no dryer. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. Had to drive up to the clubhouse to get coffee daily morning.
