Good location, very convenient to walk to town centre. It would be nice if there are additional basic items such as salad bowl, non-stick pan and a bottle of diswashing liquid. Otherwise, it is a very nice apartment with good laundry facility.

The location is probably the best. Steps away to town area where everything is. Street noise is expected, but bearable. Love that there are laundry racks that we could put out in our living area to dry our laundry. Bedrooms are fairly small but living area is big. Toilets seem recently refurbished. Nice and clean! Overall a great stay!

Excellent apartment, Excellent location

The apartment was spacious and had a fully functioning kitchen to boot. It is located right at the waterfront hence the name :) Close to all the town centre, important tourist locations and tour offices.... Especially if you are interested in Extreme sport... Bungy and Skydive Great place

Great location with great view

The location was great and easily accessible on foot after dropping off at the bus stop at Camp Street. Easy to navigate way around Queenstown. With Southern Discoveries located just at the doorstep, it's easy to book cruises. Wide range of brochures and pamphlets available at the reception area. Facilities within the apartment was great as well. Couldn't ask for more!

Absolutely Worth Every Penny Spent!

Stayed for 6 nights there and absolutely loved it! Apartment was clean and comfortable. The best part are the breath-taking views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables! Will most definitely stay at The Waterfront again the next time I'm in Queenstown! Highly recommended!

The Good and the Bad

Good - Great view of the lake, esp if you are given the higher floor unit - Fully equipped kitchen, comes with a dishwasher - Good size living room, with two ottoman chairs and a 3-sitter sofa Bad - Apartment is called "The Waterfront", not "Breakfree The Waterfront". So, Hotel.Com, please update your website. - Unhelpful reception. Upon arrival, my family was turned away. Reception cited that he did not have my bookings record even when I said I fully paid for 3 nights, 2-bedded apartment. Spelt my family name and still he could not find it. - I repeated the apartment name at least 3 times, but reception is not at all aware of the name 'Breakfree The Waterfront'. He asked that we drive further down and see if there is one such apartment. He said he could not help as he has not come across such a name before. - We drove down and still could not find it. Checked the GPS and made a U-turn to the same place. Finally, reception managed to find my record. - Surprised, even if it is an old name, the reception should know. Or is it entirely that Hotel.com got it wrong. - Weird banging of the walls outside the apartment in the middle of the night. Happened throughout my 3 nights stay. Not sure why and what causes it. My room was along the corridor, so I could not sleep on the first night. My boys slept in the inner room, so good that they chose that. - Situated near a busy road, so noisy with vehicles passing by

We loved our stay at the waterfront. We were warned about ongoing renovation work on the exterior of the building, but it didn't affect our stay at all. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Two bathrooms came in handy. There was a convenience store close by, so we were able to grab the essentials when we arrived. There is free parking, but it's rather tight for SUVs. The staff were all welcoming. The view from the third floor was very nice (2 bedroom apartment). We will stay there again if we return to Queenstown.

Ideal location but apartment was dated. Though it appears they are doing upgrades. The apartment we stayed in was tired and worn though clean. Also know the second floor apartments are basically just a bit higher than a car roof and there is a parking directly in front of your window, so you have cars before any view. If you like privacy you won’t get it here when blinds open. Still I enjoyed our stay and didn’t regret booking.

アパートメントでしたが、フロントは９時～17時までいたので、チェックインの時にフロントと直接会話して確認が出来たので、心配することもなくチェックインできました。湖に面しているため、お部屋の眺望は最高です。そしてクィーンズタウンの中心部までは歩いて５～６分の距離ですので、食事や観光に便利でした。街全体が大きな自然の中に埋め込まれたような美しさがありましたが、とても素敵なホテルでした。

We had a week at The Waterfront. The location was great however traffic and construction noise was an issue. Beautiful views to the lake and Remarkable mountains was something special. Balcony is very small and only big enough for 2 people to stand on. Room itself was above average but it was starting to show its age. Overall not the best place we have stayed but most certainly not the worst.
