We were a family of 4 and we were very comfortable in this Residenza. Our room overlooked a lovely and clean swimming pool. As a self catering room, it was super helpful having a large supermarket just below the building. Parking was a little bit more challenging as we chose not to pay for private parking, but to find parking on the main road, but we managed. Very close to the beach and a half an hour walk to the historic centre. Would definitely recommend.

The Gardenia like it's sister Buganvillea Appartment''s are all one needs for holidays. Buganvillea being across from the beach, the Gardenia just up the street but over a supermarket very handy. Cati (Gardenia) is fantastic with help, information etc etc as is Antonella in Buganvillea, they really makes you feel at home

Receptionist was very helpfull and was good in English. The pool is very nice with daybeds and lifeguard. Location is also nice and with 25 min walk to the old town. The hotel could use a facelift with some restoring of the facade (painting and restoring cracks). Inside the room is ok, but you can hear EVERYTHING. We stayed on 1st floor with the cleaning ladies doing laundry all time of the day (and night) just underneath our bedroom. Also when people used the doorbell in the building, it would wake you up, or just when people moved their chairs. The “double bed” are two separate wooden beds put together. The kitchen was nice with everything we needed - except from washing sponge, salt, pepper and trash bags. There is only daily cleaning if you wish to pay for this.

Slidt, sparsomt udstyret og god beliggenhed

Forvent kun at det er en lejlighed uden udstyr nok til madlavning og meget lidt udstyr til spisning. Der er slet ingen rengøring og der blev skiftet håndklæder 1 gang på en uge. I skal skal fjerne affald, og husk selv at medbringe karklud, sulfo, viskestykker (fik kun 1 til en hel uge), affaldsposer, køkkenrulle og toiletpapir. Aircon. virkede perfekt, møbler noget gammelt fyrtræ, mikroovn kan ikke være sat til strøm samtidig med køleskab ig må stå i sengen for at nå stikket, da ikke alle stik passer. Pool er dejlig og beliggenhed er meget tæt på strand og gåafstand til gammel by. Vi havde alligevel et godt ophold da vi lige vænnede os til lejligheden.

Läget är utmärkt nära stranden och matbutik precis utanför. Rummet hade bra ac men köket var dåligt utrustat samt riktigt dålig säng. Otroligt lyhört och hissen lät som en tuta. Poolen var perfekt men tyvärr alldeles för få solstolar så de räckte inte till alla, dessutom en besvikelse att den stängde mellan kl 13-14. Man får vad man betalar för!

Residence un pò vecchiotto e appartamenti molto basici, ma a parte questo lo consiglio davvero per una serie di motivi: molto pulito, molto silenzioso nonostante le vicinanze siano piuttosto trafficate, personale tutto molto disponibile, possibilità di parcheggio al coperto ed al fresco, presenza del supermercato molto rifornito e con buoni prezzi al piano terra del residence, possibilità di usufruire dei servizi come parcheggio, piscina, docce al chiuso anche il giorno del check out. Complimenti in particolare alla signora Katia della reception sempre disponibile e sorridente. se tonro ad alghero molto probabilemnte tornerò in questo residence

Décevant!

Alghero est notre destination habituelle de vacances. Étant donné la situation sanitaire actuelle, nous avons réserver ce logement tout en l’ayant déjà vu mais n’y ayant jamais séjourné. La chambre était spacieuse, avec frigo, cuisine (ustensiles très limités), salle de bain de taille correct et une chambre avec 2 lits et une grande garde-robes. Malheureusement côté insonorisation c’était catastrophique. Nous étions réveillés toutes les nuits, ainsi que nos filles de 2 et 6 ans, par les bruits internes (porte qui claque, déménagement de meubles en pleine nuit…) ou lors de la livraison matinale du magasin situé sous le bâtiment. Pour ce qui est du nettoyage de la chambre, sur notre réservation il y faisait noter chaque jour, mais au bout de notre cinquième jours sur places nous nous sommes inquiétés et avons été nous renseigner à la réception où l’on nous a répondu que Hôtels.com s’était « trompé ». En ce qui concerne la piscine, elle est superbe mais mal surveillée. Notre fille de 2 ans a été attaquée violemment par une autre personne d’une vingtaine d’année qui n’avait pas à être dans le bassin pour enfant!!! J’ai été me plaindre auprès du maître nageur qui n’est pas intervenu. En résumé, si vous savez passer votre chemin faites-le…pour nous se sera la première et dernière fois!

Midrange crowded and worn place close to the beach

The high rating on this place does not reflect the actual conditions. Therefore this review. The hotel is old and worn. Especially the bathrooms and balconies are not in good shape. We got a room with a tiny balcony. So don’t believe the pictures of big balconies, as you might end up with a tiny balcony with barely room for a table, squished in with air condition outlet. We arrived late- got the worst room and we’re not allowed to move despite the fact that we paid extra for a better room! Kitchen is not suitable for cooking at all, but ok to make cop of tea or coffee. Rooms are very noisy. You can hear every movement from the other rooms: chairs moving, talking, showers running and so on. Bring ear plugs! The best feature of this hotel is the pool area, which is nice and well maintained. Location is close to the (very busy) beach and right in the Center of the most touristic location in Alghero. If that is your thing, this place is for you. If not, I would advise staying on the other side of the Center of out by the Maria Pia beach.

Little run down, but actually very nice

When we arrived we felt the place was a little run down. There was a bit of a sewer smell from the toilet which was also very noisy. But we had a good time staying there, staff was friendly and the pool was large and very nice with lifeguard on duty during the day. There is a supermarket in the building which makes for easy grocery shopping.

Uncomfortable beds, nice pool, good location

The apartments are a dated, and the beds are very hard, have two twin mattresses in the queen/king sized bed frame that makes us almost tilt out of the bed. The shower could be bigger to make it easier for 2 persons to use it at the same time. The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. They have a open air swimming pool that was properly maintained. We arrived after hours during Covid 19 easing up times in Alghero, and because of that an envelope with instructions was left inside a cupboard in the access to one of the stairs. The hotel is around 30 minutes walking from the center of Alghero, and the beach is less than 3 minutes walking.

Świetne miejsce na odpoczynek.

Świetna miejsce na odpoczynek. Bardzo blisko plaży, niedaleko do starówki- przyjemny spacer wybrzeżem około 20 minut. Bardzo czysty i funkcjonalny apartament z kuchnią.

Well worth the money

Had a 4th floor apartment which was perfect for us, clean and spacious, with an amazing view of the bay and the old town (around a mile away} and the beautiful sunsets. Were a bit concerned about noise reported from the street below but really wasn't a problem. Receptionist couldn't have been more helpful despite our frequent questions. The bulb in the bathroom was gone when we arrived, but despite being a sunday morning it was fixed within 15 minutes. Only negatives were lack of toaster or kettle in the room, but although we were intending to cook for ourselves the restaurants were so good we hardly did. Also the supermarket right below was brilliant and also served fresh coffee. Already planning our next trip .
