The shower drainage system was very bad. Water could not flow through. Hair will get stuck. Have to wait at least 10 minutes after each wash for water to flow through. No elevator. We have to carry our 25kg luggages up to 4th floor.

Free parking but no lifts. Central location.

The apartment building has no lifts! The staff was helpful and carried some of our big luggage bags up for us to our 3rd floor apartment. It was very clean & spacious with a queen bed and 2 single beds, all in white sheets. The kitchen/dining is in an attached room, and had a stove, pots & pans and crockery & cutlery. The shower had extremely hot water (even when u try to turn the setting to colder). Location is central, within 10 minutes walk to Hallgrimskirkja, and to Harpa in the other direction. The Apartments had 2 reserved car park lots across the street where we could park for free.

Great stay

The apartment was meant for four persons. So plenty of space for just one. Well-equipped kitchen. Was initially given a room on the top floor which probably rendered more privacy and a better view, but practicality (big luggage) meant I had to request for a room on the lower floors, which the staff kindly accommodated. Location is good - easy to get to anywhere in city center. Although occasional foot traffic could be heard, the ground floor apartment was a cozy stay. The airport express pick up is right outside the main door, so it is very convenient.

Excellent apartment located right in the centre of Reykjavik, close to shopping and restaurants. The room was well equipped and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Free wifi. Limited Street parking.

Good place to stay in the heart of Reykjavik.

Great location near to shopping and cafes and restaurants. Couch and cushions a bit dirty and bathroom sink too tiny. Otherwise the rest of the apartment was clean and spacious.

nice, comfortable and clean. shower glass doors. and not curtains that most times have an odour. only notable thing is that i have to lunge my luggage up the stairs. depending which floor u are at. i was at the 3rd floor. overall a great place to stay. would stay there again

Pleasant apartment but insufficient parking slots

My girl friend and I had a pleasant and cozy 4-nights stay at Rey Apartments during Dec 2012. The rooms are very well maintained, clean and adequately equipped with cooking utensils. The location is excellent. The nearest shop is just along the opposite street. It is in the middle of the town centre and very close to restaurants, pubs and eateries. We rented a car and were able to drive to the nearest grocery store merely 5 mins away. For travelers intending to rent a car, do note that there are only 2 car park slots dedicated for Rey Apartments which is just opposite the apartment. If these are taken up, there are more parking spaces further up the slope where the apartment is located. These are not far away but this will be quite a hassle especially when you are carrying a lot of luggage up the slope.

Great property, would stay again. We had 2 apartments, one for a group of 3 and one for a group of 4. The space/amenities were excellent. The apartment on the 3rd floor was much quieter than the one on the first floor. on the first floor, the street level noise was sleep disruptive at times but overall not too bad if you are used to some night time city noise.

By a bit busy road

Noise of vehicles as the room was facing a road. Also, could hear the footsteps and closing of doors. But comfortable beds, nice toilet, equipped kitchen with good sized round table with 4 chairs. Good WiFi and tv.

Great location and we managed to get one of the free parking spaces which was a welcome surprise. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and we all enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in Reykjavík.
