あの近辺では、ここしかありません

たまたま、ホテルで100名弱程度のビジネスミーティングをやっていました。部屋には、バスジェスしかありませんでしたが、シャンプーを置き忘れていたり、タオルが大きなバスタオルしかなかったり、オイルヒーターがダウンして夜中から寒い思いをしたりしました。この時期の、大勢の同時宿泊に慣れてないようです。歩いていける観光マップはもらえましたが、ホテルの方に、他に観光するスポットはないか聞いても、逆にどこに行きたいか？聞かれて、一生懸命Ｇoogleで行き方を調べてくださいました。レンタカーオフィスが通じなかったのか、ないのか、とにかくタクシーで、、、行ったら？という回答で高すぎて断念した行き先がいくつかありました。日本と同じ交通ルールなので、レンタカーがあれば近隣もかなり観光できると思います。

対応の気持ちよいホテル

作りを考えると、恐らく建物は古いものだと思いますが、不便は全く感じません。スタッフの対応も心地良かったです。強いて気になった点を挙げれば、部屋の暖房の効きが弱かった位でしょうか。 ホテル内だけでなく、ホテル周辺にはレストランも多くありますから、食事の心配も有りませんでした。

Kettle didn’t,t work and no t.v remote so as I was going out I mentioned it to the receptionist who asked if it was o.k. To enter room and rectify the 2 problems and was never done!

Cheap and good enough.

Checking we were told the wnumber. Then although we were staying for 2 nights our room keys stopped working after 1 night. There was no cleaning of the room while we were there. But it is a cheap hotel in the middle of Loughborogh with cheap on site parking.

Ramada Wyndham - Hard to say Anything Positive

It is hard to say anything positive about the Ramada Wyndham. Car park is accessed via a very narrow alley with a sharp turn at the end into the carpark with the exit just as bad. The room had numerous faults, No Shower Curtain, Quilt was non existent, lights not working, Wifi never worked, radiator red hot and temp could only be control by opening the windows. Room was only made up once during the 5 nights stay only after requesting it on at least 2 occasions. I was offered another room but the pass card didnt work, pass card later failed on room I was staying in and there was an issue to locate a key for the room. The only positive is the Hotel is located in the centre of Loughborough with plenty of food outlets as no food is available at the hotel. I will not be staying at the Ramada again unless there is no other alternatives available for the duration of the project.

Extremely disappointing

The hotel was completely run down and in need of refurbishment. We booked two rooms. The curtains were torn in both rooms and the pillows were tired! The bedding was not crisp...all the decor and textiles were well worn. The hotel was advertised as having a restuarant. We expected to book breakfast as we had an early start the next morning for a sports event. At check in we were informed that the restaurant and bar were both closed and there were no alternative facilities apart from Esquires coffee shop along the road. This hotel is not up to the usual standard of bookings through Hotels.com. it does not deserve the endorsement of Hotels.com. Bitterly disappointed.

Satisfactory

Room could have done with some tlc, bed was clean and comfortable. Triple room was a good size. Had a few issues when we first got there, however staff sorted it quickly and efficiently. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotels location is perfect for Loughborough Town centre. The staff were great but the hotel needs some money spending on it.

Likes it was in a central position in the town and parking was available. Sadly the whole building very run down. The room was very noisy, the carpets smelt badly, all the units very chipped and worn, bathroom needed grouting as quite moulding, no remote to the tv, heating too hot and couldn’t regulate it. We appreciate it is s budget price but for Ramada to be associated with this hotel it was a surprise.

Central heating not working. No portable heater nor TV remote control. Phone reception twice. No answer. Down to reception they gave me another room. Heating on full blast and can not control temperature. Someone also have the same problem. Receptionist advice to open windows and advice heater will be on and off every 2 hours. When open windows you can hear the noisy high street. Stained curtain. Stayed for 2 nights. Checked out. Next day check in again. Got the same room with no heating & remote control. They changed my room with is the same I stayed before.

Room was disgusting. Mould on windows and bathroom hadn’t been dusted loads of spiders webs and a suspicious brown mark on the window in the bathroom!!!!!

The property was very run down, nothing worked properly , the windows would not close , the room was very cold, there was no bar and no restaurant facilities and lastly the car park has been privatised and was another extra cost . Felt very sorry for the lovely staff who were obviously trying hard

Needs to sort them dirty beds

The room was freezing….requested they sorted the heating in the room but they didn’t do this.. then horrified to see the mattress that I had actually slept on. Went home feeling sick.

This hotel has to be seen to be believed. I had arranged to meet a friend in the bar, we'd both travelled 75 miles to meet somewhere equidistant. Guess what? No bar. Not only this, but no restaurant, no breakfast, no heating. What was truly astonishing was the lack of apology for the absence of these, I would say, compulsory features, nor was this absence advertised on expedia.

My only complaint is that we only had one pillow each. I asked reception for two more but they never arrived. The hotel needs a refurbishment but location is ideal and the shower is good.
