Relaxing get away.

The girls @ reception were excellent. The beach club was good and had a play area for kids.The onsite spar was good also, which had a coffee/ice-cream shop.

The rooms were spacious. The suite we reserved had an individual pool. The front reception staff was exceptional and very helpful. The reception area was beautifully decorated and amazingly clean and smelled so tropical. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The little store on the property had everything you might need without leaving the resort. They were reasonably priced!!

Great stay

Very pleased with our stay. We had a 3 bed oceanfront and the outside area with pool was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Only comment would be to improve the bedding - the duvet cover was just some sheets combined to cover it but didn’t really work. The cement factory is hardly noticed when you’re there and it’s only an easy 10 minute walk to the town. Breakfast was good and worth the extra cost.

Wonderful accommodation, very quiet and ample parking! However, air conditioning was weak and the unit entrance smelled strongly of moth balls. Lastly, the wifi was very poor and most concerning, when asked about wifi, the individual at reception claimed that she’d risk her employment if she said anything to management.

We had a lovely family holiday in Cordiel Santa Águeda. We stayed in a deluxe villa with private pool and it was amazing, especially for our 4 year old who played in the pool for hours. It was also lovely to have use of the Beach Club next door as the pools are also lovely. Our only issue was that the Sushi restaurant didn’t seem to be open. Staff at Cordiel Santa Agueda were very helpful and responsive especially when our air conditioning broke - an engineee appeared within 45 mins. Highly recommend.

Amazing house

We stayed in 2 bedroom house ,it was clean and nice ,the location is remote and if you don't have a car will be a problem, the wifi was bad ,the staff was very nice ,they cleaned everyday the house and the pool .

In general, everything was great. Access without a car is a bit difficult, but in general, this hotel is recommended for large families. دسترسی بدون خودرو کمی مشکل است اما به طور کلی برای خانواده های پر جمعیت این هتل پیشنهاد میشود. Die Anfahrt ohne Auto ist etwas schwierig, aber generell ist dieses Hotel für große Familien zu empfehlen.

Amazing people

We stayed in pool villas, mid September and the weather was still warm. The resort and villa was amazing, the staff there is what make this place special, from the greeting and walking you to your villa to the house keeping staff everywhere they were so friendly. 15 minutes walk to the local town and the adjoining beach club is beautiful and food was pricey but top quality. For comparison we spit our stay in two different 5 star accommodation(2nd stay in the Radisson) the Radisson doesn’t even come close.

The accommodation was perfect and the Perchel beach club was amazing. There was daily house cleaning service which was great. Staff were very helpful and courteous. I had asked for 2 hour delay in checkout on the day of departure as our flight was in the evening. However, this was not communicated to me in time despite making contact twice which was the only minor hiccup in otherwise a perfect stay. I will definitely recommend this place.

A very lovely place. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Sadly only the Perchel main restaurant was open during our stay but the food and service were excellent. The apartments are very well equiped and the Spar on site is immaculate. Only problem was lack of hooks for towels and robes in the bathroom. Also the first floor walkway should have a 'no football' sign as our last 2 mornings were disturbed by children playing loudly outside our apartment

The resort is situated away from the main tourist areas, meaning it is peaceful and very relaxing. We stayed in an ocean view room which was fantastic. The rooms are modern and worked well for us as a family of 4. The only slightly strange thing encountered was the single beds pushed together in each room rather than doubles. Any complaints about the old concrete plant next door are ridiculous, it is barely visible and certainly would not spoil your break. Restaurant options are limited on site, but this was not a problem for us. The ice cream shop in the Spar shop is worth a mention, great ice cream. The beach club was also a good place to spend some time and there are dining options available during the day, the food we ate there was good.

Apartment was very spacious and really enjoyed having our own pool. Beach club was lovely, shame we couldn’t have access anytime. Could do with a more family friendly restaurant on site as nothing near by. The restaurant that was open was great, food and service was wonderful, but on the pricey side, nice for a treat, nothing for everyday dining available. We had hired a car so could go elsewhere, otherwise you would need taxis. Small issue in wardrobes, no full length hanging space for dresses! Huge wardrobe with loads of shelves! Had normal hanging for shirts etc. Not a deal breaker, but a bit odd. Overall had a lovely stay.

The Santa Águeda Resort is actually great and would easily deserve five stars - however there are issues with the beach club. First of all, though it is advertised together, these are separate entities. While you get access to the beach club - this depends not only on availability but is limited to weekdays that are not holidays. Also while the beach club in itself is great and the staff try their best there are some issues there with clear communication and reception. It should be noted that the restaurants except for the breakfast buffet are all inside the beach club too and If the beach club is full you’re a bit out of luck there. All of that is sad because otherwise the Resort is great - though the nearby cement plant can be a bit of a downturned. I’d come here again but would advise they straighten out the beach club situation soon.

We had a great holiday here! We stayed in one of the Deluxe apartments and it was so nice to have a private outdoor pool and so much space inside. Having a spar on site for groceries was so convenient and we couldn’t fault the facilities. We had the breakfast buffet on our first morning and it was fantastic. We went to the club pool on one of the days which was lovely, and on the day we checked out we were able to use the solarium and pool, and have a shower in the gym afterwards. The bus stop to the airport is an easy 10 min walk, as are plenty of local restaurants which served great food and drinks in front of a beautiful sunset spot. I had a great foot massage and facial at the club spa - would highly recommend. Beautiful trees and fragrant jasmine bushes along the entrance into the resort. I know that some other guests wrote about the fact that there’s a factory / plant next to the resort but we really didn’t notice it. Our advice is don’t look at it. Simple! Overall, really amazing stay and we will likely come back, which for people who like to go somewhere different each time we go on holiday, is saying something!

Disappointing

The Resort image shows the wonderful pool at Perchel Beach Club. Unfortunately, this is only free to guests Monday - Friday and there is an excessive charge on Saturdays and Sundays. It only opens at 11am and there are generally queues to get in. We queued for 30 minutes, only to find there were no beds left. If you are fortunate to get in, the water is freezing and the 'lifeguard' does not allow toys, balls or inflatables (fun in general). We stayed in a Deluxe apartment and although the concept was nice, the fixtures and fittings were tired and worn. The front door does not open close properly and has worn the floor at the entrance. The shower door was hanging off. The apartment was dirty and dusty. During our 7 day stay, the cleaner never once mopped or cleaned the apartment. They made the beds every day, but that was all. Surrounding area is also somewhere to be cautious. A large concrete plant to one side and a banana picking Shanty town on the other. Just look at Google Maps.

Hotellet er helt greit. Flott leilighet, med alt av fasiliteter. Rundt på området er det basseng og beachclub. Det som ikke var bra var frokostsalen. Tydeligvis underbemannet. De få ansatte gjorde så godt de kunne, men klarte ikke å få ryddet og vasket bordene. Mange av gjestene måtte selv gjøre denne jobben. I tillegg er det mye støy under frokosten. Vil nok ikke bestille inkl frokost neste gang, men heller ta frokosten på balkongen, da det er en flott Sparbutikk i nærheten.

Anlage insgesamt sehr schön und gepflegt. Ausstattung Appartement in gutem Zustand und ausreichend für die Personenzahl. Reinigung der Appartements erfolgt oberflächlich, dennoch grundsätzlich ordentlich und sauber. Geräuschkulisse im Aussenbereich durch Betonwerk eingetrübt. Personal im Allgemeinen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
