Excellent central location near to both railway stations. Hostel was clean, comfortable and modern; excellent bunk beds in smaller men’s dorm; large lockers (remember to bring a small padlock or hire one for 2Euros). Nice kitchen/lounge area; good showers. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect. The staff and welcome were perfect. The only downside is that the area around the hotel isn't very clean and walkable at night, but that's not their fault and it's the price you pay for such a great location.

Comfy Olympic stay

Easy check in, lovely family studio apartment with well equipped kitchen and a quiet, comfy sleep. Clean and safe. Easy location for the train stations and perfect for the Olympics.

Stay at Calm Hotel Lille

The room was ok bathroom was a bit dated but bed was comfortable reception was very good. Location was also very good near to train stations. Overall we were satisfied with the hotel.

It was clean, quiet and the receptionists friendly, communicative and helpful. The €12 breakfast wasn't as good as we hoped: pancakes and waffles were the cold, store-bought variety, but the fruit salad was good. It was within walking distance of the station (Lille Europe). I would stay here again

Not calm!

I had the worst time in this hotel. It was so loud (even from the top floor and with the windows closed, I could hear random people sneezing on the street and neighbours blasting music at all hours), and the bed was rock hard so I ended up buying a mattress pad from a store as I was going to be there for a week. It was incredibly hot so it was a huge pain not to be able to have the window open. The decor downstairs was quirky and most staff quite friendly but I still had a horrible stay. Also, if you go there, you’ll probably a PhD in Engineering to figure out to turn the tv and the stove on.

Came to Lille to see the square and the Citadel, when we checked in we asked if where we were parked was okay, we were asked where and told them, gave us a map that DID NOT have the hotel marked and the font was so small I couldn't read it and were told that some areas would be blocked and you may not be able to out. We had parked in a designated spot and had paid for parking until early morning, we got to our car and it had been TOWED as there was supposedly a massive festival, hotel staff didnt bother telling us this and did not say we were in danger of being TOWED - if they had WE WOULD NOT HAVE PARKED THERE, ( they did not put signage up until after midnight ) useless and unhelpful and cost us hundreds of euros and hours of our time to get our car back, we did not manage to see anything so our trip was a massive waste of time and money. Calm? What a joke.

Localisé dans un quartier pas très accueillant, C'est aussi une part d'humour d'appeler l'hotel "calm" alors que le bruit du voisinage est bien présent. Les chambres ne sont pas sécurisantes car on y accède avec un code. Et le niveau de propreté laisse à désirer. ..
