Everything was great about this home away from home. The location and cleanliness were top notch! Great for our small group ( 4 adults very comfortably) and great for our dog. We will definitely keep this place in mind in the future.
We love the Walden area, but the hotels in town kinda give me the creeps. I’m so happy we found this charming, old fashioned home. It’s quirky, but comfortable. We enjoyed the private location, the long driveway to park our truck/utv trailer, and the beautiful stars at night. We’ll be back.
We had a great stay! The only hiccup was the GPS led us to a house around the corner. Because there is a great picture on Vrbo we were able to find it within minutes.
This place is a gem! It's super clean and the listing description is accurate. We loved the fenced in back yard for our two dogs. It's walkable to downtown Walden and a great location with easy access to State Forest State Park and all the other hiking and fishing options in the area. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in town.
This house was great for a one night stay for my family. My husband and I both had work in the Walden area and had to bring our kids and dog. Everything we needed was there, plus some extras like games and things for the kids to do (the play house and teepee were so cool).
Not that great place. Could use a thorough cleaning, on the surface pretty clean. Outside definitely could use some major clean up of weeds, yard care. Small cabin with the other beds smelled very musty couldn't stay in there even with the windows open. The beds in home, we were told by other members in our group were comfortable. Would not use again.
