What I liked: I loved everything about the property! It had a great layout, spacious rooms, and a lovely outdoor area. What was unique: The unique feature for me was the overall vibe and design—it felt really modern yet cozy. Our second time there and it was as good as we remembered. Very relaxing with the kids fully occupied all the time. Thought it very good value for money. The only small criticism is that the food at the buffet seemed to have more choice and variety the last time we were there.

Accomodation was clean and nice.Bed was comfortable. Shuttle to the waterpark and train station was a great help. The shuttle delays sometimes.A toaster and fan would have been good in the apartment and a microwave It was warm during our stay for a few days and there was no A/c or air-condition so couldn't sleep properly. Also,didn't sleep well on our first night due to noisy and inconsiderate neighbours who decided to shout and play music at 1am which was very annoying. The changing room at the waterpark could do with regular cleaning. Overall we had a good stay.

Disappointing Stay for the Price

We stayed at the AMAZONIA House Standard in Tropical Islands Resort for 2 nights, and it was a disappointing experience, especially considering the price in hundreds of euros per night. There were no toiletries provided, no clear instructions for check-in, and the hairdryer didn’t work. The house had very minimal amenities overall. For what we paid, we expected something better.

Really enjoyed our mini break. Although many speak minimal English, Staff really helpful and will direct you to senior multilingual staff! Food was great. Dome obviously warm with tropical temperatures. External pool at the Amazonia was fun. I felt relaxed. Accommodation clean and homey! Bed and pillows should be updated to make it comfortable! Overall I will definitely go back. I will rate it very good!

mixed feelings

Tropical Islands offers an exciting experience, particularly recommended for families with children. However, be prepared for semi-stressed employees, subpar food, and a fair amount of inconsiderate parents along with a relatively large group of unruly children. We spent three days there and, overall, we were pleased with the experience, but we were also relieved to escape the hustle and bustle in the end.

I understand that the property is in an open area but during summer, it can get really hot inside the sunrise units that we stayed in. The climate control is only for heating, with it’s price point I would expect air conditioning to be part of its standard amenity. But other than that- the actual dome is nice, large pools, nice restaurants, friendly staff. It was a good place, not great but good

Amazonia house was dirty, the grass was not cut, and had ants in the kids room. There is was no internet connectivity which would not had been a problem if it was advertised as such. The DOME was nice and the kids enjoyed it but the price of food was exorbitant . . . 14 euros for premium cheesburger! There are not enough locations for towel rentals which is a problem if you are flying in from another location meaning you need to use you bath towel at the pool. Overall, the location is mediocre at best.

Summerholiday with kids

We had 4 nights with two small kids in the Sunrise Homes. We arrived quite late in the evening and when we got to the cabin we noticed how extremely warm it was and the air con did not work at all. We had to open all windows to get a bit cooler rooms for the night. Also the amount of ants in the cabin was insane. We had ants all over the place and had to be extremely careful with any food or drink spills on table etc. We ended up driving to a supermarket the 3rd day to get an insect spray because it was impossible to get rid of the ants. It was OK otherwise but there isn’t anything in the cabin. We had to buy salt, coffee filters and soaps etc. ourselves. I think price is high compared to the level of cabin. Also the waterpark is very different what we are used to as nobody needs to take a shower before swimming and I assume the amount of chlorine used is pretty high. Luckily the kids had all the fun so it made up a lot of the problems with the facilities!

I stayed at the Sunrise homes which was spacious for a family of 4. The property was well equipped and had everything we needed. However getting into the property was difficult. We were given a fob bracelet which we couldn’t get access to the property with. When we checked in, it was already evening and trying to navigate location of the property was difficult, let alone not being able to access the home. I had to travel back to Tropical Islands dome by foot to sort out this problem. When I approached the manager Nolte about my issue he just disregarded my problem with no apology. Please be aware of the fob bracelets that they give to you.
