A blemish on the face of excellence

Great location in the heart of good time revelry, beach close by. Good affordable rooms, good crowd, inexpensive beer. However I have one significant complaint which I will discuss with the owners directly so as not to embarrass them.

Ok for a couple of nights

Not a bad place but don't expect all the comforts. Beach is about a 20 minute walk away. Feels like (as it is) you are above a bar. Rooms where ok.

Typical guesthouse

Typical guesthouse however the new owner has expressed his desire to improve. Fab air con and great bathroom. Balcony too small for my liking but may suit others Street very noisy but to be fair the resort is noisy Overall value for money. If you want 5 star you have to pay accordingly

Best value in the area

This is an amazing value. It's not 5 star, but neither is the price. Rooms are about half the price of comparable places on the same street. The rooms are good sized, clean, and the beds large and comfortable. Nice pub atmosphere. Wifi is good. The staff is very nice and the owner is great. Service is fast, beer is always cold, food good. You can wander up and down the street and have a good time without going anywhere else, you can sit and dine outside facing the street. a short walk brings you to a big shopping mall and cinema and then to the bustling entertainment district and on to the beautiful beach. There is always a good crowd at night, travelers and guests. I forgot 2 cameras in my closet safe and the owner made sure they got safely mailed to my apartment in Bangkok.

You get what you pay

Place was not that comfortable but all facilities was working. The room looks old but it was clean. Staff were very accommodating even though they only understand a bit of what I said.

티비하나빼고 대체적으로맘에안듬니당 엘리베이터없어요 드라이없어요 반짠마켓 정실론가긴 괜찮은데 비치쪽은 쪼금멀어요 인터넷만잘되면 가격대비그럭저럭괜찮을듯

Kuvaus ja todellisuus eivät kohdanneet

Majoitu tänne vain, jos et mitään muuta saa. Otin tämän edullisuuden takia pariksi yöksi, virhe! Huonetta ei oltu siivottu kunnolla, koko paikka oli vähintäänkin pintaremontin tarpeessa ja henkilökuntaa, siis silloin kun sattuivat olemaan paikalla, kiinnosti huomattavasti enemmän paikallinen saippuaooppera kuin asiakkaalle puhuminen. Kirsikkana kakun päälle emme saaneet huoneesta otettua 500 bahtin panttia takaisin koska henkilökuntaa ei ollut lähtöä edeltävänä iltana saati lähtöaamuna paikalla... Hotellihuoneessa oli ongelmien varalle ohjeet soittaa australialaiselle omistajalle, joka vastatessa kertoi myyneensä hotellin 3kk sitten ja ihmetelleensä miksi hänen yhteystietonsa oli vieläkin esillä. Hyvänä puolena oli tietty sijainti ja hinta :)

Guesthouse für Kurzaufenthalt

Das Guesthouse hat wohl vor kürzerer Zeit den Besitzer gewechselt und das war für mich als Gast spürbar. Alles etwas unorganisiert, ab 19Uhr ist die Küche geschlossen, unzufriedenes Personal.

Meh.

Air conditioner kept leaking water and dripping. Room was outdated, and they took a deposit upon checking in which wasn't listed. Emailed then but they don't answer their emails.

The WORST hotel!

During my trip in Thailand I've been staying at 6 different hotels and this hotel was the WORST!! The room had old furniture, bed sheets had stains and holes, towels had stains as well. The air conditioner was so weak and couldn't cool off our room even though it was on for entire night. The shower and the toilet are in one room, no dividers. The shower head was facing the toilet, so you have to do one thing at a time: taking a shower or going to the bathroom cause everything got wet and the water was everywhere. No hot water cause the water heater was not working. But the most important, the WORST smell in the room. Don't stay at this hotel, you can find much cheaper and better rooms nearby. I can't believe this hotel has 3 stars!!! It's definetly a hostel not a hotel style. HORRIBLE!!!

Good Location

Check in was a nice experience . Location and room is good and near to all attractions. Few staffs are very rude and she was busy with playing on her phone.

Cheap place, good brekkie

Close to shops, markets, main drag. Bed like sleeping on a board, ok if your happy to have a cold shower. Great breakfast, helpful staff.

Just what I was looking for

My original plan for my first stay in thailand was to find expatriates who could show me around and tell me what to do and what not to do. Many expatriates frequent this hotel/bar and the two surrounding hotel/bars. They are friendly and more than happy to help out a new comer. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, service was immediate including help with things like booking tours. Rooms are bare bones and slightly dated, the beds were to hard for my liking, those are my only complaints. If you like English style pubs and want a helping hand from People who have moved to Thailand this is your place. I wish I stayed longer than I did and not changed hotels.

Great little gem.

Great, simple, lil hotel that is in walking distance to most of Patongs main attractions. Set in a quiet part of town away from the noisy night clubs. You have markets and shopping mall a 3-5 min walk up the road. Patong Beach and Bangla Rd 10 mins easy walking away. Next door to a Massage Salon and a Family Mart 24 hour convenience store. Scooter rental just across the road and if you need anything just ask the staff and they're glad to help. Would stay again.

Great Guesthouse

Great location in downtown Patong, only a short walk from the beach, and the downtown nightlife. Even closer was an amazing night time food market, which we ate at often. The people at the front desk were amazingly friendly Our room was spacious with a small balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle of Patong.
