The AC is one in the hallway for two bedrooms, has a lot of mosquitos and the hot water was coming in and off all the time

Bad experience. Stove blew all fuses in apartment so kitchen useless. No hot water so had to have cold showers. Complained and asked for refund, haven’t heard back.. apartment and location are good but these issues not acceptable for the money they ask

Beautiful apartment, location is perfect. Was hard to find because it was our first time in Venice. Communication with owner was very good. The apartment is comfortable with a beautiful canal view. I’d probably add more pillows to the bed and add extra towels, but despite that, was ok for 1 night. I would recommend it for sure .

While the location and apartment was great, the check in process was rather disjointed. The third party vendor indicated I had not paid and asked for a direct payment instead of via Expedia. Didn’t get details on how to gain access to the apartment until after an hour of checkin time (and had to text them to ask) At night we had to turn on our phone flashlight to walk up the stairs

Great central walking location !

Great stay - very central location to piazza san Marco & Rialto bridge - very clean - large apartment - nice views of the canal & gondolas in late afternoon from Juliette balcony ! Would stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at San Marco Boutique! The location was absolutely perfect and the room was immaculate. The canal view was so beautiful! Everything we wanted for our trip to Venice! We had our two kids with us and had plenty of room between the second bedroom and couch in the living room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was modern and luxurious. We did not use the kitchen, however, having the refrigerator was a nice option to keep drinks and leftovers cool. Check in communication was a little confusing, but that may have been my fault. We were whatsapped the check in instructions right at 3pm, so make sure you have access to whatsapp and don't plan on getting in early, unless maybe it's communicated and guaranteed. Location was safe and secure and easily found by Apple Maps and the instructions that were emailed prior to check in. We were able to walk right from the train station to the room, which took 20-30 minutes...but a very enjoyable walk checking out Venice. As far as noise, we did have some noise from the tenants or visitors upstairs late at night, but didn't have issues going to sleep. Our morning was very early due to noise in the canals with boats picking up garbage close by, etc., but again, nothing that would keep us from returning. We would absolutely book and stay again if we are lucky enough to return to Venice!

Merveilleux séjour à Venise pendant le carnaval, ça c'est top. Appartement à deux pas du Rialto, accès pratique par transport en commun sans pont à franchir. (on a voulu faire l'économie à l'aller,....une vraie galère pour trouver l'appart, ça a servi de leçon : on a pris le transport au retour) Par contre appartement très bruyant. Impossible de se reposer, les bateaux poubelles sont amarrés sous les fenêtres et démarrent dès 6 h du matin jusqu'à midi leur travail de collecte et broyage tous les jours sauf dimanche, infernal. Côté rue c'est la Trattoria très fréquentée où les visiteurs chantent et hurlent. Comme la cuisine a un filtre d'aération dans le mur, on entend tout comme si on y était, il faut fermer toutes les portes et ça ne suffit pas à couvrir le bruit. Les voisins sont bruyants également, qq moulinait( ou passait aspirateur) tte la journée L'appartement est froid car chauffage bloqué à 19 degrés. Certes c'est écologique mais et pas un seul plaid ni couverture supplémentaires mis à disposition on était tjrs en manteau ds l'appart. La literie est très dure comme les oreillers, je suis revenue avec les cervicales en vrac. Lit fait avec seulement une couette légère pliée en deux qui ne couvre que la moitié du corps, le reste c'est le drap. (Si vous aimez avoir les épaules couvertes, dormez avec un pyjama polaire) Enfin pas de bouilloire ni cafetière (en Italie c'est très surprenant) Donc grand appartement bien placé mais peu confortable au final.

The location near Rialto Bridge and Basilica di San Marco is a plus. Anywhere you are in Venice you’re near shopping and restaurants, so there’s nothing special about this location in that regard. About a 30 minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station. You will be going over numerous bridges on the walk. The apartment is spacious and clean. Now, the negatives. First, there is a sign in the apartment that says that you will be charged 500 euros if you change the thermostat. This is clearly offputting for many reasons, particularly on a cold winter night such as when we were there. The beds are TERRIBLE. The mattresses are very hard and so are the pillows. We couldn’t sleep well at all.
