I know planning a trip to Hawaii takes a lot of planning, especially when choosing where to stay. Do consider staying at Kihei Akahi. My family and I absolutely adored this place. The location is amazing, you’re right in front of Kamaole II beach and a lot of other things are within walking distance. The condo is very well maintained EVERYTHING was clean! The amenities provided were amazing.

Seem like you have to tippy toe around the property front office people will blame you for stuff that you don’t do. The condo is very nice but it needs new pans other than that. Great location very clean looking place. Be careful sitting on the balcony having dinner people above you or shake their rugs out over the railing all in all good place would do it again

We were assigned room C607, which is very outdated and requires upgrading. examples = flooring is water damaged, furniture is older, ceiling fan Living Room does not work, broken/missing window living room area. appliances appear new and function as required Unit was clean, but needs work considering $$$ for stay

This property is the perfect location to walk to the beach. Nice scenery from the balcony for both mountain and ocean views. Would come here again.

The location is excellent. The accomodations are very adequate but starting to show some wear. For the price it is an excellent deal and I recommend the property.

D104 was good enough for my son and I. The cleaning was okay at best. Air conditioning unit was not mounted very well at all. Seemed to let a lot of bugs in so we used the lights as little as possible or there would be a swarm of bugs. Had everything you need for a stay but again the cleanliness was so so. Had body boards in the closet that was a plus along with beach chairs and pool noodles. The grounds were nice, beautiful, and well kept. I’m sure there are condos nicer and some in poorer condition. This unit was middle of the road I’m sure but would look for a nicer unit if I were to stay here again. Didn’t use laundry and there is a small view of the ocean. Grounds keepers and office staff at registration were nice.

This place is in a perfect location. The beach is across the street. Restaurants and gift shops are within walking distance around the corner. It's quiet and peaceful at night. Very very Nice!!

Wonderful experience!

Wow, the views from the balcony! Every day I saw whales while sipping my tea :) the condo has everything you need. A small cooler, a beach umbrella and chairs, tennis rackets, beach towels, and the friendliest ground and office staff ever! Mahalo Maui!

Paid for my stay on Expedia and as soon as we landed in Maui was charged again by the property. The place was very nice and I would recommend but being charged twice put a damper on our trip

Best location, walkable distance to the beach and some local shops and restaurants around. It’s literally 2 miles down Wailea area. The apartment has everything you possibly need, including beach towels and seats. Every amenity in the kitchen. Loved our little apartment. Will come back here in a second and highly recommend.
