It was a fantastic stay. It was in a nice location on the north side of the island and had a lovely bar and restaurant attached to it. Not as many dining locations close by but the receptionists would always give great recommendations.

This property is well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Though the area is not very walkable, there are a few restaurants and grocery shops not too far. Overall, we had a great experience here.

The staff was very attentive and helpful; the property is clean, with indoor and outdoor pools and the grounds are beautiful; it is located in a quiet area and it is in driving distance of all attractions on the island; you can visit the entire island if you have a rental car, while staying in one location; the apartment was clean, had AC and was very comfortable.

The pool and workout gym could have been open later than 8:00 pm. That would have been appreciated. The staff at the front desk and Pedro on bar were amazing. Spoke great English.

The sauna, the thermal pool and the gym are extra points for me. Parking is enough lots of slots. The location for me is perfect, high so it's bit cooler, close enough to grocery and attractiion we went to. Facility is like you're at home that you can cook. They provide water and tea. Highly recommended this place.

A beautiful resort-like property. Plenty of free parking. The apartment is very convenient and has all the necessary amenities. We especially enjoyed our patio and having breakfast there. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The property is rather far from the city, so a car is s must. But the location was perfect for self-driving to all the main attractions, airport, and Ponta Delgada.

There were cockroaches everywhere. The bathrooms were clean but tub was somewhat clogged. Rooms were quite basic for the price charged.

Everything was ok. Indoor pool was a plus. Bad thing is there were many fruit flies in the apartment and I had to re-clean everything dishes, glass, pan and cutlery I wanted to use. I guess no one has the same standards

The apartments were large and clean but old. We had a leaky ceiling so were moved. The new (upgraded) apartment was fine except for a bad smell from the bathroom (drain smell) which the extractor never cleared. Paid for a four star rating hotel which this never was.

Great hotel outside Ponta Delgado

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious and had a living room, small kitchen and separate bedroom/bathroom area. Small balcony with chairs. Hotel has nice indoor heated pool, gym, game room and restaurant. Beautiful landscape. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Abundant free parking. We had a car and drove to the lakes then to the waterfalls. All attractions 20-45 mins via car. Close to small markets, walking to Moby Dick local restaurant, 2 streets over from beach. Full disclosure- apartment smelt a little musty but that is to be expected for places so close to beach! Fell in love with the island and will be back for sure - would definitely stay here again!

The apartments were very clean. However, they were very noisy and to get to the bathroom you had to go through the bedroom. The reception staff and most of the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, the complex is a bit older and makes a somewhat careless impression. The water in the indoor pool was very warm (around 28-30 degrees) and the outdoor pool is really only suitable for refreshment and less for swimming due to the depth of the water. The equipment in the fitness area was outdated. Several heaters in the infrared cabin were defective. The restaurant was expensive and the breakfast was not cheap for what was on offer. In the evening there was only buffet from 6:30 pm and was also relatively expensive. We cooked ourselves or went out to eat. A rental car or cab is necessary to get to the hotel.

We had multiple bug issues,and it was addressed multiple times. It was to the point they were in the bed and we had to change bed linens during the night when we would get back from going out. There was no housekeeping at that time so we did it ourselves and also had to clean the bugs as well. There was hundreds we sprayed them with spray they gave and had to sweep them into a dust pan. Also the room had a strong stench of mildew. We also had a cockroach in the room. I understand this is a volcanic island but it was not just a “handful” of bugs it was literally hundreds and we have pictures to show. No one should have to deal with this when on vacation. If you do stay here I suggest you do not unpack your bags and make sure to keep them zipped up so you don’t chance bringing anything home with you.
