I have stayed here a couple of times now and it has been a great experience every time- very smooth and comfy rooms. This past time I just had issues with wifi/tv working properly which was a bit frustrating but someone from the office took my call and emailed instructions that helped.

My only real gripe is the lack of on-site staff, so you can’t check bags in early, but otherwise I would absolutely recommend Maverick Suites. The room was large, clean, and the water pressure in the shower was great! The bed was comfortable, the room was relatively quiet. Overall, a great stay.

The room was ok except for hairs on the bedding indicating lack of adequate attention to cleaning. It was not a good experience and led to a panic attack as I have OCD.

Maverick Suites is in a great location, if you do not have a vehicle. Friendly, safe neighborhood, shops and good restaurants, close to public transportation. The building is well cared for and safe. That said, the room itself is small and probably works best for a 1-2 night stay. The room was clean when we arrived, but there are no instructions on where to bring trash or how to get a clean towel (room comes with 2 bath,2 face,1 hand towel), which after multiple days was challenging.

Need more info on how tv works

The tv didn’t work. If you have two remotes instructions on how to use them need to be provided. The lamp by the bed did not work. Nor did the outlet the lamp was plugged into. Again if there are special things needed to make them work instructions needs to be provided. Bed was comfortable. Nice shower.

It was a nice spot. Very clean. But there wasnt much in the room. There was no first aid. And the sound in that basement was nuts. You heard literally everything. It sounded like our room was going to get flooded because we heard all the plumbing. Along with the lawnmower sounded AC. It was absolutely so loud. Even when i trid to turn it off. I got little to no sleep to be honest and we got back from our event before 1am.

Still thinking about our stay

Maverick assigned up a room for differently abled persons. This room did not have an additinal bedside table for the other person traveling with me. The bathroom, although spacious, did not have a place to put ones toiletries, whether one id diable or able bodied, so all of our toileteries were place on the floor. The shower water splattered outside the shower making the floor dangerous when getting out of the shower. Lastly, the AC was locked for nearly our entire stay and at night, around 8:30pm the room temperature rose to 85 degrees one night. Only on our last night did management unlock the AC control and the nights had cooled by then and we could open the windows. Management provides 24 hr telephone respinse but do not respond to the issues. We did receive more towels to mop the floorsand more dish soap for some unknown reason, but neither solved the issue of not having a sirface area to put ones items for the night or toiletries. Also, the WiFi knocks one off every 15 to 20 mins. The TV or the remote did not work either. The bed was very comfortable and the company provodes ample pillows. Towels are in good shape and the rooms are very clean and have nice looking and practical furniture. The kitchen was wonderful and used it evey evening and having a sink, microwave, and mini fridge in the room made our lives easier for us. We met another client who had constant issues getting into her unit and had become enraged over the lack of assistaance she received.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Boston, once at the beginning of our trip and once at the end and found it very convenient to hop on the train and walk to lots of shops and restaurants. The first room was on the third floor and was very small but was fine for two people. It was clean and had everything we needed. Our second room was in the basement and much larger and again, very clean and well-appointed. We did have some noise from the room above us but it wasn't a big issue. They provide earplugs in each room which was great. I will plan to stay here again the next time I am in town visiting and would recommend this location for anyone staying in Brookline.

Nice Hotel, NO Staff, Poor Communication

Buyer beware: NO on-site staff. No check in desk. Property managed by Maverick Suites. A toll free number to log issues is a 9-5 operation, with an "off-hours concierge" that is a glorified answering service. Good luck getting help in the middle of the night, which we ended up needing.. Maverick and Hotels.com had issues communicating; I never got the code to let myself into the property, then had issues with the code to get into the room. Parking was $50 per night, in an unlit, pot-hole filled back alley. Night 1 went OK. Night 2 was a nightmare. Half the room lost power. It messed up the AC, which dripped incessantly from condensation all night. ALL night long. I called Maverick the next day. They did "make it right" by refunding me a portion of the room on the second night. Definitely an issue for older/less tech-savvy travelers not to have live personnel onsite. Got numerous texts about a car parked in a reserved spot in error. I ran into the car owners as I checked out. Turns out they booked on another platform to include parking, leading us to conclude that Maverick doesn't coordinate well with their hotel booking carriers...YIKES! I would not stay here again.
