Great little place in Old Town Quebec. Has a tiny kitchen if you need it. Comfortable living room, plenty of parking. Bathrooms are tiny but overall very pleasant and owner was very nice. Location is excellent. Walkable although we ended up driving a lot because it was so cold.

Everything was clean, the kitchen had all necessary for a family like coffe maker, tea maker, plates, etc. It is near from everything and far from noise. Communication is excellent with the housekeepers. You will love it!

Great location in Quebec City

What a great spot in Quebec City! We stayed in the Cartier Suite which has two bedrooms, kitchen, two bathrooms, and living/dining room. So much better than staying at a hotel. For about the same money we were able to have two rooms so the kids could sleep separate from the adults. The location is great, with the Plains of Abraham right across the road, and just a 10 minute walk to old Quebec. Parking was easy and cheaper than the nearby hotels. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A variety of restaurants around, plus it was great having a small kitchen for the times we wanted to stay in. The hosts were very helpful, giving us an overview of the area, and were available for any questions we had. They were quick to respond to any requests. They even had toboggans we could use to go tobogganing near by. We would absolutely return.

Pas d’insonorisation, bruit du bip de l’alarme à 4h du matin, plancher qui grince, sécheuse défectueuse (une nuit complète pour faire sécher une brassée). Pour le prix d’une nuitée, il vaut mieux réserver dans un hôtel confortable avec petit-déjeuner, piscine et stationnement gratuit.

Residing in History

As a designer I truly appreciate the great job they did renovating and modernizing while preserving the historical character. I found two narrow hidden staircases inside of tiny what I thought to be closets. The place was deigned in 1850 by a famous architect (very french name) Chris, the property manger came out to the street and walked ahead of to the parking lot. He gave me a map and told me where all the places I would need are located. What a great experience.

Sightseeing in Quebec Ciry

Great place to stay with just a short walk to restaurants and a little longer to get to the Old Town but still walkable. Chris is an exceptional host and very quick to satisfy your needs. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Great spot in the heart of Quebec

We had a wonderful stay at Les Maisons Montcalm. Apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. It fit our family of 3 adults and 3 kids with ease. The concierge Chris was extremely welcoming and informative. The building is immediately beside the Plains of Abraham and Le Grand Allee. The walled city is approx 10 min by foot. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope we can visit in the future.

Excellent location & service!

Walking distance to almost everywhere you want to go in Old Quebec as it is situated in Grand Allee. But most importantly, all the rooms and facilities were clean plus the complete amenities. Nina is very kind and warm to answer all my questions every single time I call her. I forgot her name, but the caretaker as well was very nice and patient. She explained everything we need to know about the city and pointed us where the popular spots are.

The location was perfect--a short walk to Old Town and right across the street from The Plains of Abraham and Joan of Arc Park, a wonderful place to rewind and rejuvenate in the afternoon. It was nice to stay away from the crowded bustle of Old Town and yet have such quick, ready access to it. Also, a lovely and comfortable apartment with the gift that keeps on giving: two bathrooms.

Super quality/price in Old Québec!

We rented the 3 bedroom Laurier Suite, as a family of 4. We often stay at the Concorde across the street but are getting tired of hotels and their size limits with 2 school aged kids. When we spotted Maison Montcalm directly across the street, with 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a 6 person table, and reasonable onsite parking, we thought it was worth a try. And was it ever. The rooms were spacious, clean, well- appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of plates, pots, utensils, etc. and perfectly suitable for cooking or family dinners. For those not familiar with Québec city, the location is directly next to the Plains of Abraham, 15 metres from Grande-Allée and tons of restaurants. The old city walls are about 5 minutes by foot. The building is older, and a bit rough around the edges, but at this price, it was perfectly worth every penny. We thought it would be noisier, so were pleasantly surprised that it was actually very quiet. My only note would be that there is no shampoo provided, which meant a dépanneur run to pick some up, so come prepared. The staff were also excellent, welcoming, and accommodating. Highly recommended and it will be our new go-to for trips to Quebec City.
