Quite Hotel, if people want some relaxation this hotel is a perfect choice with many different types of accommodation.(Private pool/jacuzzi/etc..) Service are great, staff are really helpful and friendly. Hotel is in the great location for all the type of tour, but for people who's like a night life then a bit out of the popular area. Really good spa area, all type of massage are very relaxing and the masseuse are professional. And lastly the food are absolutely amazing and delicious, many options available but literally they would do everything what you asking for. Overall we had a great time and definitely recommend to everyone.

Great place to spend vacation with family

It was magical experience. Hotel has very beautiful villas with everything you will need. The location is truly fabulous, a little wild in a good way and connected with nature. Thanks to the staff for the excellent service, everyone is very friendly. Breakfasts were really gorgeous. The only issue that there was not always enough hot water in shower

We had an amazing stay and despite not getting obvious reduced rates that we were promised I would rate this experience very highly. One thing that fell below expectation (only one) was the romantic private dining. The beach was unsuitable (litter/debris) and the garden dinner wasn’t private.

My partner and I had an incredible stay at The Royal Purnama. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like royalty. The service was exceptional and we would like to say a particular thank you to Dodik, Putri, Puspa, Jaya, Okta, Ketuk and others for making our anniversary so special. The rooms and hotel are beautiful too and the food is basically a fine dining experience. The hotel is also well located to explore Ubud or explore Nusa Penida via transport. We saw quite a few previous reviews which wished they could have stayed longer, so this is exactly why we stayed put here for our entire stay in Bali and we have absolutely no regrets. Will be sure to come back and visit again soon!!

Really lovely quiet place to stay in Bali. The villa with the private pool meant we could just relax all day. As the bathroom is open to the outdoor pool we felt like we were actually in a rainforest at night! The spa and restaurant were amazing. The staff were very kind and their service exceptional.

Beautiful hotel. Every part of it was fantastic to look at and be in. The food was brilliant. The staff went above and beoynd at every opportunity. There was a wedding on at the hotel during our stay, and because the dining area would be much busier that night they offered everybody at the hotel 20% off room service in case they wanted to avoid the dining room. This was greatly appreciated. Our villa, we think the most basic they offer, was incredible, with huge sunken bath, large private pool and everything you could possibly want to make yourself comfortable. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Very nice hotel. Great service. Lovely 2 bed villa with pool. Good food. Drinks a little pricey compared with local. They need more power points in property - there was only one in the twin room.

Exceptional Facilities, Superb Service

From the moment we arrived our expectations were excelled in every way. Stunning location, fantastic facilities and warm welcoming friendly service. Our suite was modern, very spacious, clean and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff to deal with. We dined several times in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and always the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The location is stunning and very peaceful, an idyllic retreat at the end of a busy day exploring the island. We used a taxi to get around most days, which was convenient and we thought good value. Many thanks to everyone at the Royal Purnama for making our holiday just perfect!

Perfect villa with private pool . Breakfast choice was great lots of variety. Staff well trained and efficient. Free shuttle to Sanur and Ubud for a break from the villas. Yoga class also free every morning.

Luxurious Stay

We only stayed one night and it definitely was not long enough but was such a refresher. We had a one bedroom villa with the pool and enjoyed it very much. The public pool area was also wonderful. It is in the middle of nowhere so you have to eat there. Food was average. We had the floating breakfast which was fun but wish it was included in the room price. The beach nearby is black sand and had some trash there which was unfortunate but the hotel itself was lovely.

The Royal Purnama is a special place. I shared 7 days here with my partner and wish we could have stayed for much longer. Everything about our stay was incredible, the villa was comfortable and surpassed out expectations. The restaurant provided an incredible breakfast, lunch a dinner offering. Happy hour was great, loads of tasty cocktails on offer. The staff were super friendly and helpful, anything you need they are happy to help as best they can. We had the Unity massage package and it was really quite an epic experience. Highly recommend!

The villas, pools and facilities were spotless and beautiful. The staff were attentive without being instructive. The breakfasts are amazing! The resort is a perfect balance between traditional Balinese and modern comforts.

2 Nights & 3 Days at the Royal Purnama

What could have been an extra ordinary experience turned around and became something that I might want to forget. There are 3 things that are forcing me to forget my stay at the property. 1) Experience after the SPA while I was taking a shower - the rate at which the water was being drained out was extremely slow which resulted in me standing in a pool of water, oil and soap that dripped from my body. Had an awesome SPA experience but was ruined immediately. 2) While using the Jacuzzi - there was unbearable stinking smell from the water for about 2 to 3 minutes the moment I switched on the bubble button. To top it up the Jacuzzi was in the balcony which was home to 4 lizards out of which one was scary and BIG - for a person who is allergic to lizards - that is the last thing I wanted. The dual combination of the stink from the Jacuzzi and the lizards who chose to come out at the same time when I decided to enjoy the Jacuzzi made the entire Jacuzzi experience a fiasco. 3) My villa had an open bathroom. In the middle of the night when I woke up and wanted to use the washroom - there was a lizard that decided to give me a surprise while I was urinating. It ran up the wall from behind the W.C. When mentioned all the above to the staff - I was given a deaf ear. Encountered a sarcastic smile from the staff and an apology as a formality which they really didn't mean.

Amazing Spa Hotel - Perfect Escape

Incredible hotel - Great food and drink, beautiful setting and perfect for escaping from everything. Stay here if you want nothing more that to relax, chill out and not move. The only minor (and I mean minor) thing to note is that the resort is a little remote, so if you want to eat outside the hotel, it can be a little bit of a challenge!

Great hotel good service relaxing holiday

Excellent hotel good sea view from the restaurant lovely black sand beach - no swimming allowed though due to undercurrents - Pity - wifi was a little slow - room was lovely with personal pool cleaned every day - service was good despite the hotel being v busy - staff are very friendly - occasionally the free shuttles were not available due to hotel being busy
