The Heineman House is located in Ministers Lot off of Corn Neck Rd. Don't worry about loading up your car to spend the day at the beach, we are located just a few minutes walk to beautiful Mansion Beach. Large yard with plenty of room for family lawn games.
Wrap around deck, with views of the pond, to relax on with your morning cup of coffee or afternoon cocktail while grilling dinner.
Inside, there is an open floor plan with our newly renovated kitchen, dining area and living room are brightened up with a fresh coat of paint. The main level has 3 bedrooms (2 with twin beds, 1 with queen bed, a den and 1.5 bathrooms. Large master suite upstairs with king bed, large windows, and full bathroom. Outdoor enclosed shower. Laundry located in garage. Second fridge/freezer in garage. Fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, blender, microwave and cookware. Gas BBQ gill, Smart TV, WIFI Hotspot, DVD, and blue tooth stereo. Short bike ride to Northeast Lighthouse and Andy's Way. 2.5 miles from town and ferry.
Walk down the path to Mansion Beach. Perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, walking, and bonfires.

There is a motion light activated security camera located at the front of the property.

This place is full of love

Great house and amenities for many friends to eat frequently with the open kitchen to dinning room to porch allowing the cooks to participate in the fun. Beach fires popular, with lots of wood, on nearby beach.

This was our fifth year staying at Scott and Ann's wonderful home. Each year, it gets better. The house is wonderful, Equipped with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for a good sized family vacation. We love the deck, for sitting, dining and cooking on the grill. But most, we love the short walk (I do mean short) from the house to the most beautiful, private beach on the island. It's so close, you will fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. It's the most relaxing vacation imaginable.

As always, our stay at the Heineman house was delightful for 3 generations of our family. The house is clean, organized and well equipped with everything you might need, especially the kitchen and garage with beach gear and second refrigerator. We will return for a 7th. year for certain. We had a great time and really enjoyed the upgrades at the house. You thought of everything!One suggestion re: lights on outside at night - maybe turn them off at 10pm or make them motion sensitive. Some shine into bedrooms.Loved being able to watch Wimbledon!

Paradise revisited!

Once again, 5 years going now, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Heineman House. We especially appreciated the improvements made to the kitchen with new quartz counters, new painted cabinets, workstation sink and wall paint that lighten the space up. Love it!

One of the Best on the Island!!

Lovely, cozy, well-equipped home. We couldn't have imagined a better place to spend the week for our two families during my nephew's September wedding weekend. It has the charm of traditional Block Island with privacy! Most of all, we were thrilled to be close enough to the beach to hear the ocean surf all the time. We can't thank our hosts enough for sharing their home with us.

BI Family Vacation

The house was ideally located within walking distance to Mansion Beach which is great for families with little ones to come and go as needed. The property was beautiful with a great yard and deck to enjoy when not at the beach. Outdoor shower is always a family favorite. A few things families with babies and toddlers might want to be aware of are the open cabinets in the kitchen as well as no bathtub and a glass coffee table. Otherwise plenty of room for the whole family. We had a great week and would recommend this property.

A Perfect Fit

We've been going out to Block for about 20 years and have stayed in several different places over the years. This was our 4th year staying at this location and it truly is a perfect fit for our 3 generations of family. The house is very comfortable and the 5 minute walk to Mansion Beach is ideal. It's always been one of our favorite beaches. Ann and Scott have always been wonderful to deal with. We're already looking forward to next year...

Wonderful...

This was our 2nd year at this wonderful house. It really is just a few minutes walk to Mansion Beach. The house is very accommodating with nice spaces and outdoor decks. It's very quiet. Not a lot of traffic goes by, and it's just a short drive to town. Ann and Scott are very easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning next summer.

Family Memories

This house is made for family memories! The breakfast nook, the family room, the expansive deck and back yard all make this spot a wonderful gathering place for families. Everyone has plenty of bedroom space and there are plenty of bathrooms for all to have privacy. But what really makes this spot is the close proximity to Mansion Beach... seriously a 3 minute walk! The house is stocked with beach towels, chairs, toys, boogie boards and a cute old wagon to pull it all to the beach. The extra fridge in the garage is a bonus.

I grew up in Queens, New York and my family has been making the journey out to Block Island since I was a baby. On this trip, in addition to my parents and my sister, we came with my sister‘s husband, my 2 1/2 year-old son and my wife, all three of which were having their first BI experience. It does not feel like an exaggeration to say that this home was/is an absolute heartwarming distillation of all of my favorite memories about visiting this very special place. Yes, there are logistical extras like bringing your own sheets and towels, andddd what you trade off is an incredible value, being welcomed into an incredibly warm home that clearly holds the memories of many many happy seasons on this island. It somehow both feels tucked away and close to everything. Highly recommend for a family escape.

Always Great!

Once again, we had a perfect vacation! The house has everything you could need. The beautiful, unspoiled, beach is a three minute walk. If the surf is too high, the Great Salt Pond is a three minute drive. To sit on the deck listening to the waves crash while having coffee or cocktails is heaven. The only thing better is to fall asleep to the sounds. The property is private, but close to town; equally close to Clay Head and some of the best hiking on the island: and Andy's Way, with the best clamming (make sure you get a permit). BTW, the clam rakes are in the garage... A special place. One that my family looks forward to every year.

Wonderful home in amazing spot on Block Island

This was our fourth year staying at this fantastic home on Block Island. It has become such a wonderful tradition for our family. My 3 kids look forward to this vacation every year. The home couldn’t be more perfect. It’s warm and welcoming with an amazing deck to watch the sunsets while listening to the waves at the beach just a short distance away. The home is situated at Mansion Beach, which we consider the best beach spot on the island, and is tucked away in a nice quiet part of the island (but still just a short distance into town). The owners are so nice and have thought of everything from the kitchenware (we make pancakes most mornings) to the beach ware (chairs, games, etc.). I also love the music setup with bluetooth and indoor/outdoor speakers. You can tell you’re walking into a well loved home when staying here. We couldn’t be happier with the setup and the amazing time we have when visiting.

It gets even better!

This is the fourth time my family and I have had the privilege to stay at Scott and Ann’s wonderful home. I didn’t think it could get better, but a remodel of the kitchen in the off-season has made it even better. (according to my wife, I’m not allowed in the kitchen) We had friends staying in different places around the island this year. When they came over to visit us and All marveled at the home, it’s location and the privacy. All said it was the best they had seen. This from people who’ve been coming to the island for decades! My wife is now searching for a sound machine that can match the sound of waves crashing on the beach as you lie in your bed. There is no substitute for the real thing. This property is the real thing.

Block Island bliss

This was our second stay at the Heineman house and we have already have booked for next year. We love every aspect of the house, property and it’s location. In fact, the only way you could have easier/better access to the best beach on Block is to have a multi million dollar property that borders the beach! Ann and Scott are wonderful about everything . It is so well equipped for everything you need for life at the beach. The deceptive size of the house does encompass 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Naturally, none of the spaces are expansive, expecting the master bedroom/ bathroom suite, which is more than generous in size. It’s bank of windows and skylight make you feel like you are in a tree house in the Sycamore tree, especially when the many birds kick in prior to sunrise. Delightful in every way! Thanks Ann and Scott for sharing your home!
