This beautiful beach cottage is the quintessential Florida beach house! Come relax & play on the white sand beaches of Treasure Island in Pinellas County. Family friendly Sunshine Beach on Treasure Island is located south of Clearwater Beach, Redington and Madeira Beach, and just north of St. Pete Beach / Pass-a-Grille. Enjoy beautiful sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico, wonderful restaurants and endless activities - many within walking distance or accessible via the local trolley (trolley stop less than 100 feet away). Also available is “free beach ride”, a local service providing rides for tips. Restaurants range from beach casual to seaside elegance. Boat rentals, paddle board and kayak rentals, put-put golf, museums, parasailing, arcade (for that rare rainy day) charter fishing, bike rentals and the Treasure Island Beach Trail are just a few of the nearby activities. The Tampa Bay Rays game is only a 10-15 minute drive in downtown St. Petersburg.

Located on the west side (beach side) of Gulf Boulevard, so no busy streets to cross to get to the beach (don't settle for the east side of Gulf Blvd.)! Sea-grape canopied beach access is only steps from the backyard. Popular John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk (dining/shopping/entertainment) is just over a quarter-mile away.

Treasure Island is known as the sand sculpture capital of Florida, and hosts the annual Kite Festival & Sport Kite competition (one of the largest in the US). Beach was freshly renourished in Spring of 2018 and is now huge! Nearby airports include St. Pete / Clearwater Airport and Tampa International Airport.

This updated and comfortably furnished house is situated on a large lot, has 2 bedrooms, 1 ½ baths and easily sleeps 4, with one queen bed and two twin beds. Amenities include ample parking (which is a premium on Treasure Island), Wi-fi, HD cable, DVD player, kitchen stocked with pots/pans and dishes, Keurig coffee maker, washer & dryer, bed linens, towels for bath and separate ones for beach, and use of beach cart/beach chairs/beach toys. Rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower, grill the catch of the day, and relax on the covered deck.

This beach cottage was perfect for our family getaway (2 adults 1 toddler)! It was easy to get around the island and the walk to the beach was less than 2 minutes. Everything from the outdoor shower, beach chairs and toys, and amenities made it the perfect, no fuss stay for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the floor plan was plenty roomy for us. Communication with Staci was fast and helpful too. Highly recommend this place!!

Everything was perfect and the house had everything we needed. This even included beach towels and chairs! It was a very short walk from the house to the sand. The only negative that I can think of is the street noise in the main bedroom. However a white noise machine was provided which really helped. Overall, it was a great week in Treasure Island! It has always been our happy place.

What a perfect place to get away. We came over from central Florida. Everything is so close you can walk to the beach and all restaurants/shops at Johns Pass. Cottage has everything you need to have a week vacation. Highly recommend.

Perfect place

This cottage was the perfect place for me and my BFF! By far one of the best places we’ve stayed in! Steps from the beach, clean, easy check in/check out, and literally had EVERYTHING we needed for our days at the beach! Stacie was a fabulous host and made everything so easy for us! The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake! 15/10 recommend this place!

Our second visit to John’s Pass, and will continue coming back. Great beach and entertainment for the whole family. Property is everything you need to enjoy the beach, walking distance to Iohns Pass. Our family really enjoys the area, and this property brought it all together.

Great location to beach access

Very quick walk to a beautiful, not over populated beach. Also very close to a John's Pass for food and shopping. The traffic noise was slightly annoying but tolerable.

Excellent location

Beautiful little beach property located practically on the beach. The house had everything one would need for the beach, including beach chairs, a Bluetooth speaker, umbrellas, and a wagon to transport it to the beach. We will definitely be coming back!

Love this cottage!!!

This is our second time staying here and we will definitely be back again next year! We love the old Florida cottage feel, and the location can’t be beat! Steps to the beach, a short walk to John’s Pass. Stacie, the host, is great! We did not want to leave, and can’t wait for next year!

Beaches and boats are our life, and our kids are following suit. We appreciate and preserve the natural beauty with which we are blessed in our area - and we love a great meal and entertainment.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Location, location, location. Treasure Island is one of, if not the most, beautiful beach on the west coast of Florida. And if you are going to the beach, then stay by the beach! Make life easy! No busy roads to cross to get the the beach. Entertainment, restaurants, bars, surf shops, ice cream shops, and endless activities are all nearby. Very close to famous John's Pass. We have a stop for the local trolley that is only about 100 feet away!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Many lots on the beach side of Gulf Boulevard are quite small - some are only big enough to park a car, maybe two. Not an issue for this beach house. We have abundant paved parking on the back of the property. We also have an enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off after getting back from the beach. Well maintained with a beach cottage vibe.
