Commodore's Retreat 206 -

This quaint property is sure to please every member of your party with it's amazing views and secluded atmosphere. This beautiful condo which is located on the second floor offers spectacular Gulf Views from your living area as well as easy balcony access. The living area offers a wide flat screen TV and has plenty of seating for everyone. The dining area will seat 4 guests with additional seating for 2 at the breakfast bar. The bedroom features a King size bed and you will find a set of Twin bunk beds located in the hallway that leads into the living area. The kitchen comes fully equipped so you can easily prepare a home cooked meal and enjoy a night in.

Initially named after the thick grove of windswept trees bordering its pristine white sand beach, Seagrove has stayed true to its “roots” by preserving its original natural beauty. Accommodations hosted along its shores include quaint beachfront condominiums, lavish beach-side resorts, and colorful vacation homes. In addition, Seagrove Beach is a quiet oasis that is surrounded by the bustling luxury lifestyle destinations including Seaside and WaterSound.

All One Level: Living Room with Queen Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom, Twin Bunk Nook, Hall Bath with Tub/Shower Combo and Laundry.

*Parking for one vehicle only.

*Rates have been discounted due to a scheduled roof-replacement project in December 2025. Guests may experience intermittent daytime noise and see contractors and work vehicles around the building. Parking under the building is recommended during this period.

Parking was a problem because of roof construction and the crane in parking lot. First 3 nights no outside lights on building. Bathroom doors did not open smoothly, they got stuck halfway open. Pool was not taken care of and was very dirty. Should have been notified before we rented the condo of construction issues.

Every kitchen cabinet door handle had to be washed off. Extremely sticky. The place was very dusty. Dirty carpets. It needs a lot of TLC.

Beach Views

We enjoyed our time. The balcony is the absolute best part of the condo. The 2 cushioned lounge chairs made it so relaxing for morning coffee and watching dolphins or an afternoon nap. The balcony was shaded in the afternoons. The bedding was nice, and there were plenty of clean towels. The unit was clean and inviting. I definitely would rent again.

Nice Location

Unit was clean and comfortable. Weather was perfect and it was an easy walk to the beach. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a nice amenity. May was a great time to visit 30A for the first time. The location was good with many interesting beach communities.The television was not working properly when we arrived but response was quick.

Location is the key!

We continue to stay at Commodore's Retreat because of the location. It is right on the beach and only a short distance from numerous restaurants. However, this unit is dated and could use some upkeep. It was pretty clean overall (with the exception of a few roaches), but the bathroom could use a compete remodel. Baseboards were broken and missing, and everything was very old. The dryer takes two cycles to dry towels, so that is something to be aware of. We received several towels but not enough wash cloths and hand towels, so we were washing every day. The TVs are extremely small with the bedroom being the size of a large computer screen. The living room TV does have cable we eventually discover, but the quality of the channels make it appear to be analog, and the channels are so few and far between, we thought they were from an antennae. While we don't go to the beach to watch TV all the time, after coming in at night from long days at the beach and eating out, a little TV is a nice way to relax before bed. We solved the problem by buying a Roku at Wal-Mart, but this is again something to be aware of. While none of these things would keep us from staying at CT again, we would definitely look at other units first next time. Overall, the location is hard to beat, so we will be back!

We will be back

This was a mother daughter get away for us and it was the perfect space. Super easy access to the beach and having the chair service included was such a plus. We enjoyed our breakfasts and lunches from the patio.

Great Beach Condo

The only issue we had was the elevator was out for 2 days. The condo is on the second floor which made it a little challenging. When we called the property management company Coral Reef they said we only manage 3 units in that building so we have to call the holding manager and let them know. They said they would call us and let us know what they found out and we never heard anything back from them.

Our stay summary.

Clean but very dated. Got a new dishwasher during our stay & repaired leak in kitchen sink. New kitchen faucet installed. Dryer filter & filter cover would not stay inside opening inside dryer. The entire filter needs totally replaced. Elevator out of order our entire stay. Very hard on seniors loading & unloading vehicle.

Awesome location!

We love the Eastern Lake area being less busy. The condo was super clean, had all the amenities we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and the view from our balcony was amazing. Also loved the complimentary chair and umbrella service. The property manager made communication easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

This condo is located away from the crowds but close enough to everything needed. Clean and well stocked! Beautiful beach view. We loved the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas are an extra bonus. The property needs some updating but it would not prevent me from staying again. In fact, we’ll be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Only a couple of suggestions

Great location if you want some quiet and privacy, close enough to several busier towns to bike, but away from the crowd of spring break craziness. Would HIGHLY recommend an update to main TV to a smart TV or capable of input change to plug in, would try to improve WiFi, and get a larger ice maker.

The perfect “retreat”

For us, location and comfort is everything, when we travel to the beach. Commodore’s Retreat was the perfect location - right on the beach! You can hear the surf from the living room, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful gulf from the balcony. We loved the easy entry to the beach, and the chairs/umbrella set up that was included. Thanks for helping us relax and “retreat”!

FOBs Chair/umbrella

Everything was easy, quick and efficient. However when we arrived couldn’t locate FOB in kitchen- called and was told to look in cabinets etc- I felt the tone of the conversation was a bit stiff and condescending. I hung up and located two lanyards with ONE fob. Let the manager know. Chairs and umbrella had to be reserved by me- I read that they would be included in reservations. Gentleman I talked to said he hated to charge me because they should have been included with paid reservation. Overall we throughly enjoyed our visit. Would book again, but with better clarification on my part. Unit was what we expected and we enjoyed the location.

Great location

This unit is in a great location & off the beaten path. Beautiful beach, close to the lake, and pool was great. Only complaint was there is only one beach/pool access key, which was very inconvenient for our family of four.

Beautiful week at the beach!

Chose this property for location, had an elevator, and it came with 2 chairs and an umbrella! It was perfect for my husband and me. Probably not good w/children-only one bathroom. The weather was amazing! Saw reviews about it not being updated... We came for the beach!! Not the room. Suggestion for ALL condos- laminated cable TV line up!! Scrolling cluelessly stinks! Going to book it again for next year!!! Great week!!

Beautiful view right on the beach!

Very nice property! Great view of the water and easy access to the beach! Living room is spacious and nicely decorated!! The bed was ok; we slept fine but it might be time for a new one. The kitchen & bathroom need some updating but overall it was a very nice place to stay!
