Native Elk Cabin is a gorgeous four-bedroom, three-bath home in the scenic Upper Valley area of Red River, NM. Surround yourself with comfort in this well-stocked spacious home. The large kitchen, multiple living areas, and loft make this home perfect for a large family or for a group of friends vacationing together!

All-season fun! Whether you'll be spending your days skiing and nights curled up on the sofa with a movie and hot chocolate or you'll be fly-fishing and ATVing during the day and enjoying the mild summer weather on the deck in the evenings, this house is the perfect "home base" for your get-away!

Our house backs up to the National Forest, with scenic views all around and hiking from the property. We are 5.7 miles (13 minutes) from the Red River Ski Area main lodge and the town of Red River.

This house is literally so perfect. Our group of 13 all had a great time, and absolutely loved the house. Host responds very well to many questions. Space was very clean and stocked!

The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the cabin is beautiful. We loved the sun room off the back. I was also very impressed with how every thing was labeled for use! It sure made using things so much easier. Thank you for sharing your cabin.

This cabin is perfect for family vacations! Very roomy with lots of seating and a very well stocked kitchen. The view was beautiful; the location was great. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back some day.

Great place

Great place for large family. Kitchen had everything you need. Plenty of parking for cars, trailers, and sxs. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is big and spacious making it a great place for large groups! There was plenty of seating in the living room and the kitchen table was huge making it possible for our group of 15 to all sit together for meal time. There was also a sitting room surrounded by windows with a space heater with beautiful views. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with supplies and the bedrooms had plenty of bedding with extra covers and pillows if needed. Red River is just a few minutes down the road and we also visited hiking trails that were a short drive away. Definitely recommend for family or friend get aways!

Family vacation

It was our first time staying at a cabin and it was great, it really exceded our expectations and, everything was perfect. It was a well equipt house it had everything we needed and more. The surrounding nature was very relaxing aswell.

Mountain getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it was quiet and peaceful. The location was close to other activities available in town. Kitchen and dining area were highlights of the cabin, newer appliances and a large table accommodated our family of 10 easily.

First Family Ski Trip

Family vacation

This beautiful home allows our family to stay together and enjoy the exquisite mountains of Red River. The home is so comfortable and well equipped. Best cabin in a quiet and peaceful place!

Host was very helpful, everything you could possibly need is available for your stay. Cabin was exactly as explained and absolutely beautiful! Our group of 10 were all comfortable and enjoyed our stay! When we come back to Red River, we will stay again.

When we saw this house we immediately envisioned spending winters evenings playing board games in front of the stone fireplace, snowshoeing in the forest above the house and sledding down the hill, and sipping wine on the back porch as the kids played in the forest on warm summer evenings.
