This home was perfect for our large family. The kitchen provided everything we needed to cook and grill with including many seasonings. A short walk to the beach, pool or jetty was very easy for us even with the toddler. Clean, plenty of amenities, spacious and overall relaxing is how I would describe this home as well as perfect!

The House was beautiful with all the amenities. We really had a good time.

Very nice and we enjoyed the home and location. Wish the elevator had been working because I have knee and hip replacements and that would have been a great bonus. Would stay again.

Great beach house

We loved this beach house. It was very nice and super clean. Had everything we needed while there. Loved the outdoor shower for when we came back from the beach. The beach was only a short walk and the pool was super close by as well. We would definitely stay here again. The sandcastle book was a nice touch and loved learning about the host family.

Great Experience!

The home was great! Very clean and spacious. Everything that was stated online was true. Definitely will be booking again on my next visit to Destin!

Beautiful home in a great location.

The house is beautiful and well equipped. We had one minor maintenance issue that was quickly resolved. Great location. Short walk to the beach or pool with a convenient tram service for when you're feeling lazy or have too much stuff to carry. Would definitely stay here again!

Spacious & perfectly decorated

This property has a perfect floor plan for multiple couples or families. It is a very short walk to the beach or call for the golf cart. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and plenty of utensils for any type of cooking. All bedrooms are on the second & third level, the wet bar includes an ice maker that kept up with our group of “thirsty” adults, and the location is prime for a low key visit.

Absolutely beautifully decorated and stocked beach home

Our family of 13 loved staying at the Lonestar Sandcastle. The porch spaces with views were perfect for lounging in the morning with coffee or the evening with a glass of wine. We were close to the beach and pools and all our favorite restaurants in Destin. The kitchen had everything if you were in the mood to stay in and the icemaker was a perfect addition to the space! Have ! mentioned the beds and showers? Heavenly! We will be back!!!

Wonderful visit

Very much enjoyed the Lone Star Sandcastle! I felt like the property was well maintained and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. I had wished that the property came with a golf cart however as Destin Pointe will not allow you to bring them in. I think that would be a drawback next time. I also felt that some of the bedding and sofa/ chair fabrics seemed a bit tired. Other than that, we loved it!

Good

Everything about this house was amazing!!! Short walk to beach- maybe 2 min walk to pool and beach. Never felt crammed, very up to date. Lots of dishes, Tupperware, yeti type cups to take to beach. Awesome. We only had one issue- fridge was not cooling like it should. They brought a replacement downstairs same day.

Family vacation 2018

Loved the house. Very spacious for 8 adults and 3 children. Loved the porches off of the living room and bedrooms. Access to a washer and dryer was very helpful. Our favorite space was the large kitchen. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. Bathrooms were dreamy. The master bath was spacious. Easy walk to pools and especially the beach. Tram driver was friendly as was the man helping with garbage. Nice neighborhood for riding bikes. Easy access to water taxi to get to Margarettaville, etc. The house was current and beautifully decorated. It met all our wants and needs. The pictures matched what we experienced in real life. Could stay at this house over and over again!

We have been coming to Destin Pointe for 29 years. We have stayed in many of the condos when our children were small. We then stayed in many of the different houses. All are beautiful. However- The Lonestar Sandcastle is by far our favorite place we have ever stayed! It is beautiful and so perfectly done. All 4 of our children came with their spouses and everyone was so comfortable! The layout is genius. We felt at home here. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with our family. Destin Pointe is our happy place and now we know that Lonestar is were will will stay again. Also- the corn hole boards are a nice touch! We brought ours and was delighted that you had some there! We play all the time! Again- your home is beautiful and we couln't think of one thing you should change.. Love and Blessings- The Peavys from Texas

Beautiful and convenient

Would consider staying at this property again. Location was great and house was beautiful. Our only negatives were the master bathroom had a musty smell and didn’t look at feel clean when we arrived. We also felt like there should be a privacy screen to the left when sitting out on the back porch area from the living room. All you see and hear are the people from the condos. Other than that the house was amazing. We never lacked a certain pot, pan or utensil. They really thought of everything when stocking. Even a separate ice maker!!

Family Vacation

House was very nice & huge. It was a short walk to pool and beach. Centrally located to attractions. Balconies were awesome with great views. The shuttle was out of order 4 of the 6 days during our stay. I have a bad ankle and my father a bad knee. Overall great family trip!!

Great house and location! Lonestar Sandcastle is nicely kept up and has a well supplied kitchen. We were really impressed with the house. Easy access to beach and pool.

Nice Family Vacation Home

We had a wonderful time at Lone Star Sand Castle. The kitchen is so well equipped and every room is nicely decorated. The only problem is that the 2nd floor temperature is not adjustable without passcode, and the proper manager does not know the passcode.

Lonestar Sandcastle

We loved the house that we rented. The Kitchen was fully stocked. The space was perfect for our family. The beach was very close. We highly recommend Lonestar Sandcastle for your vacation!!!

Amazing house and views!

The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and the perfect size for our large family (4 couples and 3 kids). The views of the Gulf. Pass, and marsh were absolutely beautiful. We loved seeing the wildlife from the balcony. The jetty is a quick walk on the beach and great for fishing and snorkeling. The pool and beach were never crowded and just a short walk or tram ride from our door. The living areas and kitchen had everything you need for entertaining and spending time with family. We would absolutely come back here and recommend it!
