'Oasis' is the perfect family getaway. Overlooking scenic Lake Caroline and just a quick two-minute walk to the beach, this home is located within the prestigious gated community of Destin Pointe. Complete with private, heated, pool and hot tub, 'Oasis' features 2 master bedroom suites (one upstairs/one downstairs), 2 spacious guest bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen and large living/dining areas open to the pool.
, 'Oasis' offers a first-floor entry so no need to climb a flight of stairs to enter the home or swim in the pool.
Enjoy the pool in the shade under a covered porch area or take in the sun poolside where you'll find an outdoor shower and gas grill.
Walk a short distance or call for a shuttle ride to take you and your gear to the beaches--choose from the jetty area which is perfect for snorkeling or swimming in it's calm waters (even on windy days) or enjoy the Gulf of Mexico. Watch the fishing boats come in/out of the pass or observe wildlife in one of two lakes. Play tennis, shuffleboard or basketball.

Thank you for having us at your home. We loved the view of the golden pond. It is wonderful watching the Egrets and Herons come in for a landing. The view in the evening on the upper balcony is beautiful. The master has its own entrance to the pool area and a huge bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need to cook or have a cup of coffee. We love riding bikes around Destin Pointe and of course to the beach. The infinity pool was a real treat!

Fabulous location.

This is a great home with lots of character and the heated pool is a great addition! The hot tub was an added bonus. Teenagers in toddler beds was not ideal but we managed. Each room having its own bathroom was nice. We shared this property with our family for the 4th of July week and was blessed with fireworks 3 days. The jetties, bay side and the ocean makes you feel very exclusive. The private area of Destin pointe is a great spot!

Family vacation

Oasis was perfect for our Destin vacation! With 4 bedrooms, It was the perfect size for our family of 10. There is a shuttle in the neighborhood that will take you to walk over to the gulf side, which can be rough water or to the jetty side, which is calm and perfect for the smaller kids to swim. The pool was nice in the evening time.

Magnificent Property & Host.

The property was exquisite & functional located in a relaxing, prime location. Communication with the owner was above expectation, very transparent and upfront with the ins & outs of the property. Our stay at the Oasis was worth every penny and more, we will definitely book again for many years to come.

Best Neighborhood

The oasis is an older beach house in this neighborhood but doesn’t lack the accommodations for a great time. Our family of 9 loved the private, heated pool and spa with this home especially. The owner was very kind and accommodating. We love Destin and the Destin Pointe Neighborhood.

Beautiful property, Perfect vacation

The property was wonderful with everything you would need or want for a perfect vacation. Our family (3 generations) stayed there this past week and the property was spacious, comfortable, clean and was in a great location with a quick walk (or golf cart ride) to the beach. The pool was great for those of us who would prefer not to go to the beach, and the hot tub was a bonus. I love the community it is in as well. I would most definitely stay there again if it is available for our next vacation. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had and was attentive to our needs. Loved watching the wildlife from the patio and pool.

Summer vacation

Steve’s place ‘Oasis’ was a well laid out property with a floor plan configuration that worked great for our family. It’s location near to the pond was also a plus. Steve was the most responsive VRBO host we have ever had. We needed some baby furniture (pack’n play, high chair etc), and voilà, Steve was able to provide it! Thanks Steve!

The Oasis is a beautiful home in Destin. It's in a gated community, and the neighborhood is immaculate. We felt very secure there. The house is well furnished, and comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed. The gulf and the jetty are an easy walk from the house.Our host, Steve, was a text away. He answered my questions promptly, and provided a high chair and a PackNPlay when requested. Steve was very easy to communicate with, and checked on us several times.The house backs up to the neighborhood lake. All of us enjoyed the scenery, and watching all the birds and ducks. The pool is on that side of the house which was very nice.The only thing that could have been improved was the lighting. There are many light switches! Steve explained that the labels won't stay on. This wasn't a problem for us as it was pretty simple to figure out what switch went with a particular light/fan. The kitchen was very dim, and it was difficult to see well. Steve said the ballasts were bad. The only florescent light was above the sink. It worked, but was very dim. There were six strip lights under the cabinets, containing a total of 18 halogen bulbs. Those bulbs were either missing or didn't work. Only 2 of the 18 bulbs worked. LED strip lights are bright, cheap, and can be easily installed as replacements. I didn't mention it to Steve, but the pool light needs to be replaced; it didn't work at all while we were there.Don't hesitate to book the Oasis; it's fabulous!

Wonderful Week at Oasis

Had a great weeklong stay at Oasis in mid October '22. Jetti side beach is a short walk, gulf side is a big further but totally manageable. Parking is snug, but we fit a fullsize pickup and SUV in the driveway after a few tries and "figuring it out". House was nice and clean, and well appointed. Everything worked exactly as expected, and there were no issues at all. We had a few small hiccups along the way (figuring out how to work things) and the host was super helpful and super fast to respond. We had (2) full families of 4 in the house for 6 days and never felt cramped or crowded. Plenty of space to move around, eat, etc. Pool and Hot Tub were great for the kids and adults. Overall a great experience and will try to stay again when we come back to Destin.

Absolute Perfection! Oasis has it all!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Oasis! This home was absolute perfection! Oasis was clean, beautifully designed and overly stocked with supplies for everyday use. It was so nice to not worry about running to the grocery store for kitchen or laundry supplies; instead, we enjoyed vacation!! The access to the beach was amazing! You can ride the community shuttle (which arrived less than 5 min after each call) or walk across the boardwalk to the beach. Each morning, we enjoyed coffee on the back patio with the ducks swimming in the pond. Each evening, the back patio was a fantastic meeting place to plan the next day! The hot tub at Oasis was spot on after a long day of sightseeing! The kitchen is fully stocked and the grill is ready to be fired up! And, the location is fantastic! Oasis is a very short drive to the Boardwalk - less than 15 min or so depending on traffic. The property owner, Steve, was a pleasure to work with! Each step of the rental process was simple, instructions were sent on time and Steve even checked in a few times throughout the week to make sure Oasis was meeting all of our expectations! Oasis is above and beyond expectations! If you are looking for a safe and beautiful place with private beach access, look no further than this property! Oasis has it all!

Thanksgiving In Paradise!

We had a wonderful time at Oasis. Our family of 8 was very comfortable in this beautiful home. The bedding was very comfortable, and 4 bathrooms made for an enjoyable experience, despite having 4 girls competing for space. The view of the pond and sounds of ducks was a nice bonus. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes, and being near the inlet and jetties, as well as the amazing white sand beaches was a plus. My children and I caught fish off the jetty on multiple days. The gated community is in an extremely upscale and quiet part of Destin. Access to all that Destin had to offer with shopping, restaurants and water sports is a very short drive away. I would definitely plan another family getaway at Oasis!!

Love love love this place!

Such a great place to stay. Neighborhood is so quiet. The walk to the beach is short and enjoyable. Or there’s a shuttle to take you if you’d rather that. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The owner took care of everything we needed and was easy to get ahold of. Highly recommend this place. If we come back to Destin, hopefully we can stay here again.

We are a Birmingham, Alabama family that vacationed in Destin Pointe, and we loved it so much that we purchased this home and hope to live there permanently some day!

We fell in love with the location and the house. Everyone has their own space...We love to sit by the pool in the morning and watch the ducks and water birds in Lake Caroline. Our children love the beach. We're in the heart of Destin and all that it has to offer in terms of restaurants, shopping and entertainment, yet we're in a very private setting with little or no traffic and security 24/7 monitoring who comes and goes.
