Poipu Shores is Kauai's premier oceanfront complex with unparalleled shoreline views. Enjoy whale watching and searching for sea turtles from your private lanai or bask in the sun by the oceanfront swimming pool.

Unit 301-B is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath family friendly condo where sea turtles swim in the waves just below the balcony all year long. The master bedroom has a King bed with a private bathroom and shower. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, ocean breeze and screen doors which open onto the large balcony. The third bedroom has two twin beds with windows that open onto the balcony overlooking the ocean and crashing waves. The living room has screen doors opening to the balcony, has a couch which opens into a full sized bed, and is adjacent to the second bathroom and shower. This is the ideal location for several couples or a family (or 2 families) tropical vacation whether you simply want to relax to the sound of the crashing waves or establish a base for island wide adventures. The unit includes beach towels, board games, DVDs, toys and childrenā€™s books, sand toys and basic adult and youth snorkeling gear to enhance your beach fun. A pack-n-play is available upon request.

Poipu Beach for swimming, snorkeling, body surfing, surfing, open-water swimming, shaved ice and famed Brenneckeā€™s Seafood Restaurant is a 5 minute walk from a path leading from the back of the condo. Rental gear for snorkeling, body surfing and surfing is a 5 minute drive away with both daily and weekly rates. Starbucks, other local cafes, fresh sushi and numerous other local shops and restaurants are minutes away. Paths along the ocean lead in both directions to the Grand Hyatt and Marriott Hotels and lengthy hiking trails along the rocky shore. Local guide books and maps will direct you to other amazing Kauai excursions including tubing down rivers, train rides through banana plantations, hiking in Waimea Canyon and single or multi-day sailing, snorkeling and hiking adventures along the Napali Coast.

This rental also includes a pass to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Guests will have premier access to Poipu Beach Athletic Club to enjoy additional amenities such as Resort style Pool with Waterslide, Cardio & Weight room, Studio, Half Court Baseball Courts, Pickleball Courts, Shuffle Board, Tennis Courts as well as locker rooms & lounge area!

Breathtaking view

This was the best of 3 places we stayed on the island. It has a view along the coast that is breathtaking.We loved the sounds of the waves hitting the rocky coast and seeing the Sea turtles right from the balcony..

Excellent place to stay!

This is a very clean and nicely appointed condo. One of the best VRBOs in which we have ever stayed. Lovely to be able to sit on the deck and enjoy the view, waves, and turtles.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were quiet and comfortable, and the view from the balcony stellar - blue water, waves, sea turtles, whales and beautiful sunsets. We also appreciated the oceanside pool, and proximity to Poipu Beach, trails and walking paths. The nearby dining choices were a big plus.

Perfect vacation

Apartment as advertised, very clean and very well located. The view is superb and the presence of turtles is daily. The contact with Nani is perfect. She is available and very responsive to our requests. I highly recommend.

Amazing views

What an incredible view. Right over the water. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. You can see sea turtles in the water all day. 301 B is a 3 bedroom unit with a huge lanai. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, lovely view..!

You constantly see turtles from the balcony ;o) Right next to a nice beach and good food. Owner didnā€™t email lock box code so check in after hours was a bit difficult but it was worked out within an hour.

Stunning area to stay in.

The overall visit was wonderful. It could use a little updating with dishwasher and kitchen and bathroom faucets. The beds were not comfortable. So I would definitely get new mattresses. Just a suggestion maybe have a first aide kit at the house But I loved our stay. And everything was very easy.

Property on cliff overlooking water. Beautiful views. Can't be beat. Have to walk a few blocks to access the water. Then it's a very crowded public beach. Every night the turtles come up to sleep, in front of the beach goers. There is no air conditioner. There are some fans in the rooms. I would imagine summer time would be quite hot. We were pretty hot even in janurary. Although, by the end of the week we got used to it. We had a great stay. The fitness club is a great perk!!

There were beach toys and chairs in the closet which was an added bonus. The lanai is right on the ocean and every day we saw turtles and whales while having our coffee. Our kids also loved the pool and having it right next to the ocean made for a beautiful and relaxing time while they played. The only drawback is the kitchen is a tad small but that never became an issue for us.

Amazing View

Amazing view - that's what you're paying for so enjoy it. Turtles, Dolphins and Whale sightings daily from the balcony. Overall condo and property is very nice and clean but not luxury or extremely large. We had 5 in our party which was about max. Bed and mattresses very firm....european style. Living room is small for 4 people but comfortable. Pool was not heated which made swimming in January not much of an option. Location is short walk from downtown and beaches. Would recommend and stay again....especially if the pool heater was working.

We loved listening to the sound of the waves crash all day and night. It came with everything we needed, including items for our beach days. Parking on site was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The pool was also amazing. Do be careful of the ants. We found some in the cupboard on our plates when we went to use them.

Sea turtles could be spotted daily. We even spotted a whale spouting from the deck. Just a short walk to the beach. The rental was clean with plenty of linens and beach towels. Glad to have the washer and dryer. Just a perfect 10 days! Access to the beach club was nice for pickle ball and shuffleboard as well as a pool.

Property Needs Improvement

Location and view is great. However the property condition was relatively poor, definitely needs maintenance, fresh coat of paint everywhere. Found a big cockroach which was a bad surprise. It is apparent that the owner did not keep the property in good shape. Candy wrappings under bed means cleaning crew did not do a good job. Apart from the awesomw view, only one star...
