The place was an absolute delight. I stayed with my three kids w8fe and 2 dogs. Checking and check out process was very easy. The views were amazing. I would definitely recommend the home to others as well as stay there myself again.

Great Winter Stay

My group enjoyed staying here for my 30th birthday. It was a great time and we loved the location. The house was a great size and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

We had a wonderful week-long, two-family stay at this property. The solitude, views, and accommodations were perfect for our group. When we weren’t exploring the nearby mountains and charming towns, we enjoyed the game room and hot tub. The home was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for cooking and baking. Communication with the host was prompt and thorough. We’d happily return for another stay!

Great stay!

My family and I had a great visit. The house was spacious and plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 children. Amazing views off the deck and the wood stove was a nice touch to make the stay memorable! David was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again!

White Mountains Hiking

Wedding Retreat

Great spot for relaxing and exploring

David was a gracious host who went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. House was well equipped with all we needed for a last minute getaway and the views from the deck and hot tub were amazing. Location was great and we loved going to Clark’s Bears, Polly’s , and visiting nearby Littleton. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Family Vacation Home!

This was our first time staying at this beautiful home and our family loved it! The location is quiet and secluded but convenient to Franconia and the hiking and attractions we enjoy. The views are absolutely magnificent from both inside and outside! We especially enjoyed the spacious living area, huge deck overlooking the mountains and the wonderful hot tub. David was a great host - very helpful and quick in responding to our questions. We are looking forward to returning!

Family Retreat

We had a wonderful family vacation, room for everyone and lots of fun games and activities for the kids. Two near by ski mountains (Loon and Cannon). The hot tub was clean and had great jets. David was very helpful with great communication.

Great house with amazing views and easy park access

We stayed in this house as a group of friends and had no complaints. The kitchen was well equipped for meals, the deck had an amazing view (grill works great!), and the hot tub was so nice to have at the end of the day. Only 30 min or less to NH's most amazing mountains and hikes! Would definitely book again in the future!

Just Perfect

The pictures don’t do justice to the views from the deck. The property is simply incredible. Clean, well maintained, the grounds are well kept. The hot tub was lovely, and the house was central to everything we wanted to do while we were there. Make sure you stop in for breakfast at Polly’s Pancake Parlor!

Sugar Hill Visit

Overall this property was an excellent fit for our family. I was traveling with adults and teen agers and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The house is older, but everything was in working condition and we were especially grateful for the airconditioning. The location of the property is ideal and the home is very comfortable.

Perfect mountain house for families

Ideal arrangements for an extended family group. Spaces for being together but also quiet private spaces. Kids loved the games (pinball! Foosball! Pool!) and hot tub. Great location! David was helpful and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely beautiful

This was my first visit to Franconia Notch, and I could not have asked for a better place to stay! David is a great host and I can not wait to go back! The house was super clean and the VIEW!! Coffee every morning on the deck was the best way to start my day. Thank you David for sharing your home and your knowledge of the area…Sunset Hill and Polly’s Pancake Parlor, both spectacular!

Family gathering for a wedding at Toad Hill

Clean, comfortable, updated property with great views of the White Mountains. Very little traffic near house. Nice kitchen. Open spaces to gather inside and on the spacious deck. Pinball games, pool table, foosball table, plenty of board games for the rainy days. All rooms are air-conditioned, and the house stayed cool during 80-degree days. Overall a wonderful experience.

Sugar Hill Gem

Our family needed a quick getaway and we found this wonderful house in Sugar Hill. David was able to accommodate us on short notice. The house has fantastic views of the Cannon/Lafayette area, a large multi-tiered deck and a big hot tub with great jets. The kitchen is fully stocked and the ignitor on the grill actually worked. The house is not premier luxury, but is quiet, functional and airy, and has lots of sleeping options. We'll be back.

Family Reunion

We rented this house including the apartment for our annual family reunion. There were 11 of us (1 family of 5, 1 family of 4 and then a family of 2). The sleeping arrangements were just right and everything was clean and ready to use. The kids enjoyed the games around the house and the adults enjoyed hanging out on the porch and closing out the day in the hot tub. The view is just amazing from the house. There is a great little market close by in Franconia for groceries and many other close by activities. David was super easy to communicate with and helped to make everything enjoyable. We are already talking about heading back next year!

Great location

This was our 2nd time staying here. The location is perfect and easy to get everywhere locally. The house is very outdated, but the photos are an accurate description. We’ll be back either way!

Stunning View

The house was perfect for my family! We had a wedding in the area and this house served as our home base. The view is absolutely stunning from the property (definitely my favorite part). David was very accommodating with everything (we added the apartment on later) and was quick to respond to all questions and messages. I gave check-in process only 4 stars. David mails the key to you before arrival. I’ve never had this with a rental before. David made sure the key got to us with plenty of time. I think a lockbox may have put my mind more at ease though, but he may have a reason for not doing a lockbox on the property.
