Best location for everything in Maui

First, Matt the property manager is a great guy. This wonderful location is a nice central point to do all the tours. Wish we had brought the kids because there was tons of room for them. The apartment is incredibly well equipped. Location is perfect for nice strolls on S. Kihei rd and close to really nice beaches. Would highly recommend

Revisit Maui

The building was old but once inside the unit it was just perfect. Everything we need were available. The unit was very comfortable. We are all easy to please and once we saw the cleanliness of the place we were good. We weren’t looking for star rated accommodation considering the money that we paid for two weeks stay. Reasonably priced. We certainly will recommend the place. Thanks!

Great spot Wonderful neighborhood

We stayed for three nights. The condo is clean and comfortable located right across the street from a very nice beach. It’s dated but who cares!! You’re in HI. We had all the Anne kites we needed. AC units in living room and bedrooms we needed and kept us cool enough. It gets hot in there in afternoons.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very nice, clean and maintained. The unit looked exactly like the pictures. The service from Maui Condo was excellent. Would love to stay her again and would recommend this property. We had friends over and went to local businesses in Wailuku and Kahului.

Awesome Maui Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to Maui and we had an amazing time!! When we got to the Condo and stepped out on the Lanai to look at the view we were happy that we picked this Condo to stay in. Everything we needed was provided for all outdoor activities and fun at the beach! Super glad there were air conditioners in each room as we were able to use them while sleeping!! Will return for sure! Thanks again

This place was so awesomw!!! The reviews don't give the location justice!

We loved the location, huge park across the street, shaved ice right next store, shops restaurants, and plenty of rentals so close. It came with huge beach towels, goggles, boggie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler. I didnt know how much I would love having a washer and dryer but it was a must!! The beds were super comfortabl , except the pullout one. But we just used the couch instead. Like some other reviews the floor could use some tlc but we just wore our flip flops in the house. There was 3 separate swamp coolers that worked super will at cooling everything down and the white noise made for peaceful sleep. We would for sure stay here again.

GREAT location, very worn and dirty. (Look at the bottoms of the curtains)

Plan on wearing black socks instead of being barefoot inside, the floors are only swept, so your feet turn black in minutes of being barefoot, the silverware drawer is broken, the blender smells like it's ready to start on fire, and during our visit, two things, the pool was having maintenance during the first two days, so no use of the pool or BBQ area, and a paint crew came through to paint the door jambs on the exterior, and required the doors be left open all day, this left us stuck in the unit all day during abnormally hot weather unable to use the A/C. the master bedroom door did not latch, and the A/C unit in the master leaked water on the floor, so we moved the dresser under it with a container to catch the water. If it weren't for the great location this property would get a zero star rating and I would be asking for a full refund.

Not the best experience.

Rental was not cleaned from previous renters when we arrived at 4pm. Contacted the rental company and they sent a housekeeper. When we pulled out the sofa sleeper it was sandy and completely broken. We were not able to get ahold of anyone that night(7pm) but housekeeper brought an airmattress the next afternoon. We were not compensated. The apartment itself was as expected except the outlets and lights weren't all working and the sliding door to the lanai was rough and loud as were the neighboring apartments. It sounded like thunder. The neighborhood is friendly& safe. We surfed, snorkled, and enjoyed the island from a great location.

No communication when things go bad!

We like this area in Kihei and have stayed near here before. The unit had some nice touches but was under stocked in the kitchen and the sofabed is broken. The worst part is that we had no water during the day for 3 of our days there. We informed them that this was happening and received no response. They had been made aware this would be happening over three weeks before we arrived and never told us about it. We found out from a note hung on our door when we got home one evening that for the remainder of our stay we could not shower, use the toilets, sinks, laundry or anything from 8am-4pm. This was a major headache and after 5 days from my sending them a message we have still heard nothing. I will never stay in any place using Vtrips as their management company. Maui is beautiful with 100s of options for stays so we will find somewhere different from now on.

Great location on Kihea - close to the market, eatery & shopping. Pool is okay. willvstay again.

Love the area - close to everything - beach, eatery, shopping & relaxing. The pool is not fancy but good enough to swim in for laps. Not a resort type pool. The 2nd bedroom air con did not work. Thank goodness we had the hurricane so did not need the air con much. The appearance is old but most of the time we’re out on the beach or doing excursion so it didn’t bother us that much. The place below had the amenities such as dive shops,eatery, massage & shops. Really enjoyed this property so much that we’ll book it again. It had beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, & we added more beach stuff like Morely boogie board, flotation bed& ring. The chairs are old but usable. One of the umbrellas is broken, need to be replaced. The white rugs on the bathroom is not a good choice of color. It should be neutral so the dirt won’t appear. The flooring is laminated but not sure what cleaning solution they use. As part of our customs, we like to walk berafeet but the floor gave our feet black marks so we ended up buying house sleepers so our feet will stay clean. Overall, it is very cozy, and ocean view condo. Will definitely stay there again. We love this location / centrally located- nice park across the street & walking area. Island Surf 312 is very comfortable condo.

Great location to stay!

Had a great time with our stay in this property. The owner was really prompt in replying to me whenever I have some questions or needed confirmation on. We had exactly what we need in this unit during our stay. Good beds, AC is working good and two baths to accommodate us conveniently. Enough beach towels and chairs when going to the beach! On top of that it’s also near restaurants that’s just like a 10min walk from the unit. Truly amazing!

The property was clean, well maintained (except for a bulk or two that weren't working), utilities and items of daily use were very well stocked (very thoughtfully done), location was great, WIFI worked really well, instructions from the property manager on check-in procedures were received well in advance (they didn't leave any exit instructions though, something they should include going forward). Areas where they can should better are i) ensuring that all electricals are working fine and the instructions are clear (for example, we had to climb up a stool to switch the A/C in the living room on/off because we couldn't locate any other switch), ii) the area around the entry door into the apartment should be cleaner. Overall, after figuring the system out in a couple of hours, we had a really good time at the place.

Plumbing issues

Bad plumbing ( toilet wasn't flushing, tubs did not drain, shower didn't have any pressure, one shower didn't work, kitchen tap continously dripped) no window coverings in second bedroom, dirty and rusty windows, rust on shower rods, air conditioners were very loud and rattled, surfaces were sticky everywhere. The place is in original condition and nothing has been renovated. It is old and disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Great spacious condo

Everything we needed for a beach vacay was here. Beach towels, foldable beach chair backpacks, beach bag, cooler, snorkel gear etc. Took my daughter, my sister and my daughters best friend here and we had a great time.

Nice place, great location

This is a nice place for the price and great for a home base as you make daily excursions to explore the islands or the activities that are super close. 2 min walking distance to food/drinks, beach, surf shops, etc. Ample and easy parking.
